The only reason choosing this hotel is its location is next to Beijing Road which you can spend night time browsing around and very easy to find restaurants until late at night. Room condition is old. They do not provide facial towel and facial tissue.

The first hotel I came across with a Mahjong CClub
Nothing worth mentioning.

We stayed in the 10th floor and can you imagine we have a Mahjong Club up above our room with constant dragging of tables and chairs. We made two complaints about the disturbing noises days and nights. Only the last night we were replaced with a quiet room in the 22nd floor. This was the first time I came across having a Mahjong Club above guest rooms. The dining at the 30th floor was also bad. We paid RMB 60 each for a buffet dinner and to my surprised after taking a bun, I cannot find any butter. I asked the waitress and was told there were any.

The location of the hotel is superb. Walking distance from the Beijing Road where shopping and food is everywhere. For good and cheap local food Wen Ming Road is just on the right of the hotel. Unfortunately, Lido Hotel was without internet access, not a single newspaper around and bottled water was not provided. In this age of wireless connectivity, we find it hard to stay longer than the 4 days we were there.
