The hotel was nice. Beds are pretty comfortable and rooms are nice enough. Not super fancy but we enjoyed it. The pool was great and where we spent most of our time. The walk to surf at Kuta was kind of far but not to bad. Discovery mall is very close as is some other restaurants. Breakfast is good. The bar food was not that great though. The japanese place was alright and reasonably priced.

Other than the location, many things are sub-standard. Small things like the bathtub (the bathtub plug, the bathtub cracks) to not having enough conversion plugs for me to charge devices.
Another issue would be that how could they only allow 1 device for wifi access???????
Room is actually much smaller than in the pictures. WOuld have had 2 rooms instead. 4 people rushing for 1 bathroom is not great.
Fortunately most of the time we are not in the hotel, however, the pool is GREAT. My daughter loved it so much. After the pool we walked to the beach which she loved as well. LOCATION is AWESOME.

Beautiful hotel with great hospitality
clean, big, nice pool & restaurants

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the room was clean and the staff organize daily activities for the guest such as beach volleyball, watersports, kids club and extras.
the service provided is excellent at all outlets of the hotel.
given a chance i will return to this hotel again whenever i visit bali again.

good location and facilities
the location is a big plus and wifi in every room is a very good idea

though only staying for 1 night, i can know the hotel is a good one. my kids can enjoy connecting with their friends since there are wifi in every room, and they also have fun going out since the hotel location is so strategic, the place is nice too.

Good place for relaxing too

my kids were thrilled because of the location which is near the kuta beach, but as for me and my wife, we like it better lounging on the hotel, we're are ready for dissapointment but when we arrived, we found out that the suite have a really big balcony with chairs and there's even a sofa to lay, and the view is amazing.
Reiseempfehlung:
Maybe this is more for young people who like to explore the street, but for relaxing, it's not even half bad

staff are absolutely brilliant
loved the breakfasts and the location

third stay at this hotel. staff are always welcoming and with a smile. location is great. pool area is lovely and never a problem with getting a great spot wherever you want. two things however, fridge in the room was not serviceable and upon our arrival into the room warm water was all we had! second was being stuck in the lobby lift for a few minutes, however the staff handled it brilliantly and my four year old wasnt too traumatised. overall a good hotel.

We had a few teething problems on the first day. it took the staff 30mins to bring a cot to our room even though i requested it in my booking. staff saw our son asleep in my husbands arms at check in and it still took them a long time to bring it. our room key was stolen from the pool area and the staff tried to put the blame on us telling us we lost it when it was clearly stolen. and the service was lacking. Kids club was very small and different offer much. saying that though we would definatly stay here again. The swimming pool is the best i have seen in bali and the hotel facilties are definatly 5 star. You can't get a better location, it is a 5min walk to everything you need. You really feel like you are iving it up in luxury when staying at the Kartika.
