Wenn man Geld sparen will, ist das Hotel OK. Der Strand ist einige Minuten weit und Restaurants sind sehr nah, es ist insgesamt OK. Es gibt aber kein Frühstück

Das Alona Swiss gehört zum besten was ich bisher auf den Phillipinen gesehen habe.Das Preis Leistungsverhältniss ist top.Die Zimmer sind ausreichend geräumig mit Aircon Fernseher und preiswerter Minibar .Im Bad kein Schimmel alles funktioniert bestens.Das Personal ist freundlich ohne nervig zu sein,an der Qualität der Reinigung kann sich so manches selbternanntes 5 Sterne Hotel eine Scheibe abschneiden.Der Pool ist geplegt wie die gesamte Anlage.Zum Strand sind es ca 800m,der Strand selber ist eher mittelmaß.Einziger Wermutstropfen das Hotel hat kein Restaurant somit auch kein Frühstücks Käffchen,schade.Restaurants liegen aber in reichweite.Jedes Zimmer hat einen Balkon bzw.eine Terasse.Das Internet ist eher schwach auf der Brust zumindestens Tagsüber.Das beste aber es ist ruhig für phillipinische Verhältnisse sogar traumhaft ruhig.Wer also Bohol und Alona Beach besuchen möchte sollte auf jeden Fall das Alona Swiss in betracht ziehen.
Reiseempfehlung:
Wer auf deutsche Brot bzw Backwaren nicht verzichten will sollte bei Klausi aus "zwigge" vorbeischauen.Ca 3bis 4 km von Alona Beach entfernt gibt es eine kleine Anlage mit viel Planzen und einigen Tieren ( eintrit 200 Pesos)das Restaurant hat einen super Ausblick aufs Meer ist allerdings nicht ganz billig.

There is a safety deposit box to secure your important belongings.

big rooms, you can choose between bedroom style, apartment style with kitchen and 2 bedrooms which great for family, nice pool and no fuss hotel, owner ( european) was really nice and helpful....

Quiet place, far from the beach and restaurants

Hmmm... I’d like to say I enjoyed the place, I’d like to say it was great staying at this reasonably priced and friendly place but, the fact is, when I was there I kept thinking I regretted my choice... The resort itself is fine, clean, peaceful and well maintained. People will try to accommodate your stay and arrange things for you. But... nothing is perfect...
Although the manager may want to say there is a “short” way to the beach, you still have to walk a “long” way to reach the center point of the beach. It’s not that long (10 to 15 mins), but it feels like there are many other accommodation options along the way... And there is no breakfast, and limited choice of restaurants nearby. Also, keep in mind that some rooms do not have WiFi (signal too weak)... We had to complain several times before being relocated to a room with WiFi (which is what we paid for!)... The basic rooms are okay, but we’ve been quite annoyed by the noisy fridge, and the abundant light flooding the room all night long through nearly transparent curtains. Not easy to fall asleep in such conditions...

the hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the beach. the hotel isn't near the main road so you need to walk through a pathway about 200 meters from the main road. the room is ok although we did not understand why the ref was placed outside of the room.anybody can get the contents of it and it gets charged to the room.luckily, all contents were intact until we checked out. other than this, our stay was great and we had fun.

The shower was great, nice swimming pool, fast check in

The room was clean but the towels were old and dingy, the shower was good with hot water & the beds were comfortable
There is a nice pool to use and it is a nice place to just rest and relax.

A nice simple resort to stay in, the rooms are large and even come with a small cooking area outside. It's a 10 or so minute walk to the main Alona beach area which means that it's a bit quieter which is nice, especially on weekends. I would recommend it for families. I didn't see much in the way of dining, and the staff were friendly, but wasn't really given any information upon arrival. I had to go back to the front desk many times to ask basic questions which was a bit annoying. But all in all, I would stay here again.
