We had an amazing time in Hobart and it was all because of the great location of our accomadadtion. It was always a treat to return to our room at the end of a jam packed day around Hobart.

Staff and location is great, but they are let doen by physical facilities. Some capital expenditure could be useful.
The heating system is outdated and noisy, to the extent that after a certain hour one feels obligated to turn it off. I could hear clearly the conversation next door, fortunately for their privacy they were speaking in a language I didn't understand. The water hammer in the bathroom was so bad that one couldn't have a proper shower.

The location is right at the Constitution Dock, would be fantastic to view the yachts finishing the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. All the attractions of the Salamanca area, incluidng the markets (Saturday only) and an aray of restaurants are at your doorstep. The rooms are bright and airy with large glass viewing windows and doors to take in the wonderful view. The self catering facilities were also very good.

The location of the hotel was easily accessible. We enjoyed the stay there as the room is spacious, well equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities. Also impressed by its digital TV, so nice and updated! Only a minor suggestion, there are not enough car parking facilities available. so checking in early may help securing one.
