DasMotlel liegt am See von Taupo. Sehr sauberes im Holzstiel gebautes Haus mit kleinem Swimmingpool und einem Wirlpool. Das Restaurant hat eine gute Küche im normalen Preissegment. Einziger Nachteil es liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum ca. 15 min. Fussmarsch.

the wine selection in the dining room was appalling.

lovely hotel right on Lake Taupo.

The hotel has changed its name, so it was difficult to locate but once installed its in a great position on the lake,
The downside is no air conditioning and the rooms are not huge.

The staff was extremely friendly; they went above and beyond.
The room was so tiny and there was not a mini-fridge as the advertisement had listed. The location was unbeatable. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel with familiar touch

We stayed for two nights at Caboose, and enjoyed the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully situated by the Taupo Lake, and a good location for shopping and exploring the surroundings with volcanic activities etc. We were not entirely pleased with the food at the restaurant, but the overall rating is positive!

very nice lodge positioned convieniently on the lakeside in taupo. room had everything we expected and it was a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. its a short drive from the city centre.

it is by the lake taupo, but my room didn't have such view. carparks are available with a number of restaurant around. quite good for all things except for the wifi connection which nearly don't have any reception signal in my room.
