Comfy place to stay”
I like this place! It located in 11st street in Yangon downtown near Chinatown which is also quite far from those tourists places. However, the staffs there are friendly ,speaking good English. The room is just fit ,not too small, bed is comfortable, strong wifi! Shared bathroom is sooo clean, I think staffs do the cleaning from time to time. Simple breakfast.

close to food, good wifi, helpful staff”
We stayed for 4 days in a double room with private bathroom on the ground floor. The room wasn't like what I expected. Its walls were renovated using some cheap thin material. Shelves are made of thin plywood that you dare not to place anything too heavy. Some sheets might be stained but I think it was due to the quality of tap water. And it they provide a carpet in front of the bathroom would be good. Apart from little disappointment it is good though -- new air conditioner, nice and hot shower, good WiFI signal. It is not far from China Town and the night market. Around the hotel, there are plenty of food too. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we prefer Myanmar tea and Naan and dim sum and assorted snacks at a tea shop a block away on Anawratha Road to eggs and toast and noodle. All in all, Agga B&B is a decent choice for what we got for that price in Yangon.

Value for money”
My stay in Yangon was quite good at Agga. The single room was small but just what I needed at the end of the day. Staff were very approachable and helpful. Breakfast could have been improved on since only eggs and toast, coffee and instant noodles were served every morning (I believe).

Agga B&B worth the money”
Booked a private room that has twin bed and shared bathroom. The location is strategic-- close to Bogyoke Aung San Market, convenience store, clean restaurants (I specifically ate at Mr.Chef; check my review on google maps). Upon arrival, the front office personnel assigned this morning (December 31 at 8:15am) attended to us and had our reservation confused for a dormitory instead of a private room. Anyhow, the misunderstanding got sort out real quick. Breakfast time starts from 6:30am to 9:30am. There are thee breakfast options: 1. Toast and Jam, Half Fried Egg and Coffee 2. soup noodle, egg and coffee 3. Soup vermicelli, egg, and coffee The shared bathroom is well maintained but in need of dire "repair" and "revamp." The room is absolutely clean. Don't expect anything fancy with the bed, the decoration, and whanot. Had issues with the a/c remote control but the front office person attended to it right away. Nyang, the front desk person assigned in the afternoon, helped us with check out and luggages (taking them downstairs from the room and into the taxi). He even called our grab taxi driver to give accurate direction. A wonderful hostel that is situated in downtown area. Pleasant, stellar staff! Thank you for taking care of us. A repair on the bathroom would be nice though!

Excellent value in Yangon”
It's was my second time at Agga BNB, I keep coming because Agga is near a supermarket and 19th street. Staff is super friendly, they teach me a bit of burmese language... I like the breakfast area, we can hang out there at night and have a beer at the balcony.

Great Guest House”
This Guest house is brand new with 3 floors, nice breakfast area and balcony. One guest had a birthday and they organized a party, it was great fun. The staff is willing to help and gave me some advices about Yangon. Definetely recommending this place.

Excellent Service”
Very nice staff, they helped me to prepare my trip to the Shann State, they were even collecting information to make my journey easier, I'm thankful for that. I like the breakfast area with the balcony and the atmosphere at Agga.

good location leasent and helpful staff”
Agga hotel is located in the Chinese quarters, easy access to everything. Staff is very helpful. The guest house needs some clean up, and may be adding some amenities to make it excellent value for the money. Breakfast is OK.

Nearly But Not”
This is a new place and the latest addition to the burgeoning Agga empire that includes the old war horse, the Agga Guest House, and now the Agga Youth Hostel; all three readily available through Agoda and located in and around 13th Street in Lanmataw. I made my booking late but Agoda indicated that there were nonetheless three single rooms still available at the B&B. I requested a room upstairs. However, when I got there I was shown a neat windowless plywood box right beside reception and was told that there were no other singles available since all were occupied by happily ensconced long-stay guests. Instead, they proposed 'upgrading' me to a windowless double upstairs which adjoined the nearby shower and toilet facilities. Inside it was damp and fetid with damp run-off between the walls and floor, damp circles on the walls and the bed linen damp to the touch, presumably from those nearby showers. I was taken round the corner to the Agga Guest House where I was offered a windowless 'dorm' with three beds Tetris-style across which a small army of ants were carefully and industriously mapping. In the end we got it right with a big if noisy double by the road. The morning brought a simple but acceptable breakfast - a greasy fried egg and a couple of pieces of toast and coffee. Agga Empire staff were eager to please throughout but for all their goodwill I wouldn't have wanted to stay another night. Like all rapidly expanding empires over-reach on too many fronts compromises strength and threatens stability.

Excellent stay!”
I stayed in a 8-bedroom dorm that I was really satisfied with. This room has no bunkbeds so everyone gets their own bed, which was quite big and comfy. You also get a fairly big locker and if you don't have a lock they can supply you with a key. Breakfast is fairly simple - eggs on toast, but it's enough to keep you going until lunch. The dining area is also quite nice. The staff are nice and accommodating and they will help you with everything. You can also use their printer for a cheap price. Wifi here is one of the best I had throughout Myanmar.

Perfect stay ”
We stayed here in mid January for 3 nights. The staff (2 young boys) were incredibly helpful, always available and very polite. They helped us with phone calls to book our next accommodation when we bumped into a language barrier issue and booked taxis and buses for pretty much the same price as going through an agency (about 50 pence more expensive). The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shared bathrooms spotless with a good power shower. The location is slightly further away than we would've ideally have liked (on 11th street when more is happening after the 18th) but we still found it easy to get around.

solo room was an A+”
I chose a solo room for this hotel, turned on the air con, and when I came back, froze to death. This place has perfect air con, insanely fast wifi, and it was clean even under the bed. Be forewarned my room didn't have a tv, but who cares, the Internet was so fast, and this room so cheap, I lost my mind with excitement. Perfect location to walk to 19th street, but the street with this hotel was quiet at night. ONE BLOCK from the movie theater with 3D movies, and ONE BLOCK from a veggie restaurant. I loved this hotel.

Great hostel”
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Pros: Very helpful staff, clean and comfortable beds/rooms, clean shower/toilets, above standard breakfast. Cons: There isn't much of a social atmosphere, though to be fair I stayed here at a relatively low tourist season. But this hostel does a better job catering towards groups.

Not worth the price ”
For the price paid you should be able to get a nicer place. Agga B&B is old, our private room was decent but not nice at all, breakfast only coffee (no tea) and some ugly options for food. The night staff at reception was rude, like if he hates his job, not helpful at all... we tried to book bus tickets but after seeing his face decided to wait to the next day. We bookes with the staff from the next day and all perfect... he was super helpful.

Breakfast is delish”
We arrived at 7am from the bus station, they changed our room number such that we could check-in earlier (the first room was still occupied)! The breakfast is so good and the staff super helpful. Situated near china town, you always have something to see (day market/night market until 10pm). With a lot of good restaurants in the area. I clearly recommend to stay there!

Recommending”
Very pleased with this place. I booked a single with shared bathroom and is as advertised—clean, a/c, table&chair, hot water. (Had to extend one night in the dorm, but that was nice, too.) Internet was slow at times, but good enough. Staff—friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but decent. Could use some rugs outside of the bathroom and stairways (usually wet and can be slippery). Also, paper thin walls—bring ear plugs. Plenty of food places nearby; taxis readily available.

A cheap hostel in downtown with great staff”
This hostel is located in the 11th street of Yangon's downtown area. Close to the Junction mall and Bagyoke market. It is also a walking distance to the Shwedagon pagoda ( around 30 mins). The staff are very friendly. I'd like to special mention, Nyan, who exceeded my expectations. He will try to answer all your inquiries and he is very accommodating. He speaks good English, too.

Clean and comfy hostel”
Really nice hostel, rooms were spacious and clean. Good air con and showers. Western breakfast wasn't great, but the noodle option is great! Only down side was no real common area so lacked in atmosphere
