Clean Hotel, Helpful staff”
Hotel was ok. Clean, but a bit of a walk up the hill out of the centre. The staff were helpful in contacting our Halong Bay Cruise company to organise our pickup the next day. Hotel was very noisey in the morning with tour groups leaving early. The included breakfast was just toast and two fried eggs, but as the only guests that morning for breakfast it was hard to be putting on a buffet I guess. If you're just staying overnight in preparation for a cruise in Halong Bay then this hotel has the basics you need, otherwise if staying longer I would pay the extra and stay at the novotel or somewhere down closer to the water.

Great location with reasonable price”
The hotel location is good and the place is quiet. The room is clean and the morning breakfast is easy for the customer whereby there is no need to look for a place to eat in the morning. After the morning breakfast will be able to go out for tour. Tha staff are friendly but there is a little communication problem because they do not know the English language well.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
This hotel was acceptable. The rooms and facilities were OK. The location was good being only a short taxi ride to Ha Long Bay meaning it's much closer than staying in Hanoi and having to take a 4 hour bus ride!

i found this hotel to be very handey for me because i like a bit of night life and a beer or two in this area there are lots of kareoke clubs for those who want to have a little sing along i liked all the different bars here each one had its own little something to offer

DIsappointed; not recommended”
The hotel has the bare minimum in terms of amenities. Room was small and cheaply furnished. Bed was hard, shower was old, As far as I can tell, all the rooms are the same, except they will push the two beds together or squeeze in a third if you ask for it. The list of the languages spoken by the staff: English, German, French, Chinese, etc. I can confirm that not one person I met spoke either French or English or German. So it was difficult to communicate if I wanted anything. However, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean, so this review probably boils down to "you get what you pay for".

to get to the night market of this hotel should use a taxi about 5 minutes by taxi costs about for a large (preferably using mailinh taxi). The hotel is quite big and spacious, breakfast is also provided quite a lot and complete.

Just Fine”
It is a cheap hotel, located just within the city. Closed to bars but quite noisy outside especially at night. The staffs are not so good in their services. foods just fine, considering its a budget hotel so you dont have to expect more.

Worst hotel ever”
Wow, where to even start on this place. I rarely write hotel reviews but I feel I need to on this one. I'll start with the good parts, the room it's self was basic, but ok. It had cable tv and a nice view of the bay. Now the bad, our bathroom had one small light and green tiles which kind of made you feel like your in a prison cell. On our first night there, my girlfriend went to the bathroom and I heard a scream, I ran in and the floor was covered in giant cockroaches just scurrying around. They had come out of a large hole in the bottom of the bathtub. She ran downstairs to ask for some bug spray to spray the hole, and spent 10 minutes trying to communicate what a cockroach was to the lady. Eventually she sent up some Vietnamese man who just stomped on them, then picked them up with his bare hands and threw them back in the hole. The same man made as breakfast in the morning. This is not a hotel where you can get a good nights rest. At all hours of the night there are people screaming and yelling down the stair well. The building is built in such a way that everything echos, and to make that worse the cleaning ladies communicate by yelling down the stairs to each other. Occasionally they just take a break and about 8 of them just sit in the stairs and talk and laugh loudly. This can happen at 2am or 5am, nobody seems to sleep here. We had to use ear plugs every night, and even still we were being woken up constantly. Occasionally my girlfriend would storm out in the hall

Dirty and so far”
the water use in bathroom is really dirty and smelly. I have skin allergy after 2 day take shower with the water in this hotel (i did not take shower in other palce, did not swim in pool or sea so i can make sure that my skin allergy was caused by the hotel water). It's so far from the beach.

The service is terrible and bad location”
The location is terrible. I booked this hotel for 4 nigths, the first night we arrived there about 9 pm, the hotel does not have room service to eat anything and around of it any restaurant close, we had to walk 1 km about to eat something. The reception is managed for the owners but they dont speaks english and they can not help you. All beds are very hard, you can not rest and 6 am is too noisy. Next day we found other hotel more confortable close to the beach and restaurantes and safety place. In conclusion we lost the other 3 nights and our money. Highly not recomended!.
