Excellent hospitality and location ”
You should stay at this location for the hospitality and help from the ever helpful and friendly staff. The manager gave up a lot of his time to make sure our stay was perfect, offering fantastic advice on what to do, booking tours, arranging taxis and transfers .... even administering first aid when my dad cut his head, and continuing to clean the wound daily, buying the first aid items and not allowing us to refund him. He made our stay extra special with how attentive and welcoming he was. The hotel was a fantastic value for money property, which was clean with a great location. It is literally 3 minutes from the beach and so much cheaper than the beach front hotels. If you need a sun bed rather than laying on the beach, you can rent from the minimart across the road. Great places to eat in walking distance, I would highly recommend.

The room is nice and comfortable. It's nice and quiet neighbourhood and only a coupld of minutes away from the beach. There are a few restaurants and shops around the hotel, so you won't always need to go to the main street. The staffs were nice. The owner helped us a lot when we had a motorbike accident. He talked with the bike shop for us while we were busy at the hospital and gave us appropriate advice. Eventually we could minimize our loss. We would definitely come back to stay here again and highly recommend to others as well.

Lovely stay and lovely staff. ”
We booked here the night before a scuba boat trip. The hotel was very clean and nice to stay in. Yuan and the woman who’s name I didn’t catch at the front were very helpful to us in booking a ride to the Phuket pier the the day after our stay. They cook you eggs and toast with fruit for a complimentary breakfast and the beach is across the street! We enjoyed coconuts bar and a gorgeous sunset. Excellent hotel!

I stayed here twice as I came and went from Koh Lak. The staff were extremely helpful and I really appreciate it. The rooms are good, clean and well maintained. There is a free breakfast included and on my last day there, they arranged to have someone make me breakfast a little bit before the normal time the kitchen opens because i had to be on a bus by 7:15. Very happy to have stayed with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Great hotel”
We were very impressed at this hotel considering the price range. What fantastic value for money. The staff are lovely and along with Mr Yaun, they make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed chatting with all the staff we met. The hotel ,including our room, was very clean and comfortable. We had clean towels and bottle water in the fridge - replaced daily. The served breakfast was delicious - especially the omelette. Our only preference would be a safe within the rooms instead of safety deposit boxes at reception. The beach is about a 3 min walk from the hotel - ideal location. We are looking forward to returning to this hotel in Khao Lan and would definitely recommend.

Exceptional Service & Kindness”
I have stayed at many hotels, and inns around the world and have to say that the staff at Khao Lak Golden Place were absolutely exceptional. When our trip was interrupted by a health issue, they were incredibly accommodating and flexible even when our reservation date had passed. It's a lovely quiet hotel close to the beach and shops but its the staff that make this property excellent.

Khaolak Golden place is so nice, big & clean room, location is near Khaolak lighthouse 5 min walk.The hotel is also 100 m from Nangthong beach. Staff Khun Ying is so helpful. Only one comment is Thai language TV limits only 2 channels.

Nice quiet hotel, short walk from the beach...”
I stayed at this hotel during the low season, breakfast is not available but Chaw across the road will cater to all your culinary requirements. This is a nice quiet well maintained hotel, a short walk from the beach and main strip, where there are many more restaurants. The rooms are clean spacious and the staff were considerably helpful.

Very impressive with the warm welcome from the hotel manager and staffs. Highly recommend for everyone looking for the hotel not far from the beach with great price and great services. The room condition is convenient and clean. Definitely be back here when we visit Khao Lak again.

Excellent value. Great location - as close to the beach as you can get without being right on it. A restaurant and bar on the beach is almost directly opposite, with plenty of sun lounges you can use. - At the end of a quiet side street (with no through traffic), but has 2 restaurants, a minimart, ATM, laundry, and massage shop right nearby. The main road with many more restaurants, bars, etc is a pleasant 10 min walk away. Very good rooms - spotlessly clean - reasonable size, with plenty of wardrobe space, etc - smallish but good asian bathroom (ie the whole floor gets wet when you shower) - good wifi - no in-room safe. - No other big buildings nearby, so green views. - Balcony is quite small, so can't really hang out there. Good service - The manager/reception was very efficient and competent. Would stay again if ever back in Khao Lak. Stayed 3 nights in December 2019.

Great for the money. Perfect location. Couldn't be closer to the beach without being right on it. 3 restaurants, a minimart, ATM very near the hotel, yet it's in a quiet side street. 10 min walk to the main road. Very clean and comfortable room. Good wifi. Manager/reception was very efficient and competent.
