Find hotels near Bang La Mung in Pattaya, Thailand

Located in a quiet area directly on the beach, this was ideal for us with two young children - 5 and 6 years old. The pool facilities are amazing with kids pool and the lifeguards were always onsite keeping an eye out. The hotel is clean and tidy, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms was clean and well appointed. Bath was great for the kids. The breakfast was delicious and catered for local and western tastes. Plenty of options and all very tasty. The dinner menu was equally as good and catered for all tastes. The atmosphere at the outdoor restaurant was pleasant and again the food was lovely. The staff were amazingly friendly and would constanty check to see if everything was suitable to our standards. We had originally booked for two nights only but extended our stay to four. We will happily return here in the future. P.s I am quite a fussy traveller who likes my western comforts and this hotel certainly catered for my needs.

The hotel is beautiful, and very peaceful. It's not easy to find - we took a minivan to Pattaya from BKK, got off before we reached the city because we knew it was in Bang la Mung. Found some motorcycle taxi guys who didn't know where it was even looking at the map. They had a long chat on the phone with the receptionist (late at night) and then took us out there, 2 of us on a bike, 300baht total. This cost almost as much as our minivan from Bangkok. Hotel is quite out the way but ideal if you're looking to relax. Hotel room was nice, clean, very spacious and balcony was great. Pool is stunning and the beach they have is small but ideal if you're not a total beach bum. We took their free shuttle to Pattaya for the day, easy and not too long. A taxi back cost us 300baht as we came back later than the last free van at 8pm - not something you want to be spending everyday. It says fitness centre, sports and Thai Chi but we didn't see any sports, and just a small room with some machines. But then we didn't ask either - so maybe there is some. Restaurant has good food but pricey, lunch set us back around 500-600baht for 2 which is a lot here. We had 2 curries, 2 rice and 1 omelette. Cocktails were lovely though. We asked to borrow a DVD as they had a DVD player and they had a large selection and were very friendly about it. Overall good hotel if you want to chill, lay by the pool, drink cocktails and not see many other people. If you're looking to explore Pattaya (we weren't) then you'll want to be closer to the city.

I swear I have never met such beautiful hosts in last 15 years of my travelling. We were there in a group of 4 people. I went with my wife and my parent-in-law were also with me. Right from the beginning Ms.Walee is so helpful. We called her so many times for the direction to the hotel and every time she was so kind to give directions to our driver. When finally we reached, Ms. Walee and Mr. James both were there to greet us. We had our lunch there also. As my parent in laws and my wife wanted vegetarian food Ms. Walee herself prepared some eggplant curry which was just awesome. I ordered a Chicken Steak which was equally delicious as the chicken was soft and tender. The only problem we had was that the suite we booked was at 3rd floor and the hotel do not have any lift. 3rd floor is okay for us but it was difficult for my in-laws specifically my mother-in-law as she is having arthritis. The suite we took had one big room with a double bed and they had another double bed mattress which we put in the hall. The hall got one big wardrobe with lot of hangars inside. There is also a safe inside the wardrobe. The dining table is enough for 4 person. The microwave, refrigerator and electric kettle were also in good condition. The bathroom is fitted with an instant geyser. The bedroom and hall both had a TV so you can safely watch the soccer while your wife and in laws are busy with daily soaps. I should also mention about Mr. James. We did not manage to get a cab to drop us at the airport as it was 1st January. Probably the cab drivers are still not out of the hangover. Mr. James himself drove us to the airport. We are still so delighted. I will come again and again to Walee's place just because of the homely treatment we got from the owners.
