Simply the Best Place in Yangon”
For the budget price I paid, I got laundry, a full size bed (not a bunk bed), full platter of fruits and viand for breakfast, lobby wifi and friendly staff. Owners were also hands-on who looked after the guests' comfort and needs. It was located right smack in the heart of Yangon. I will always come back to this hotel when in Yangon.

Lovely place in Yangon”
Just got back from there yesterday. I'd stayed with my friend for a week. We've been very impressed by the location as well as the polite and helpful staff. The real hotel was so much better than in the pics. I recommend the room with the window. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to try the hotel's breakfast since we got out too early everyday. By the way, this will be my 1st choice of hotels if I visit Yangon again.

Overrated”
Leaves an overall shabby, run down Impression-not feeling comfortable. You can find a lot better for same price. Left the prepaid room and moved to another hotel around the corner....

Stayed there before but this time the wear and tear really show. Don’t even try to see below the dirt below the bed.

Good location, friendly staff, nice breakfast ”
The hotel is in an easy-to-remember location in downtown Yangon, within walking distance to the railway station, the Sule Pagoda roundabout, the jetty as well as the various day markets. The staff are helpful and approachable, who took us thru the Yangon downtown map upon checking in and arranged for a smooth airport transfer on our last day there. The interior of the hotel has an interesting retro feel to it (some would think it is old and worn but we're good) and room is basic - just for sleeping after a long day out in the city. One suggestion for improvement though: flat pillows could be changed and plastic sheeting beneath the bed sheet could be removed to allow for a better sleep.

Splendid Customer Service”
It was a pleasant stay at Beautyland, room and toilet were clean, customer service was splendid. Upon check in, we were briefed with maps on places where we can visit and checkout for foods. We had an awesome chat with the boss(we presumed) of this hotel, he made us understand Myanmar even more. Our flight were at the evening on the day we check out, they are kind to offer us bathroom and toiletries for quick shower at no cost. The front desk guy even helped us called for taxi sending us to Yangon airport. We thought the taxi fare are much reasonable than those taxi offered at the main road. The location of the hotel are strategic, a small mini mart just opposite the hotel, and it is closed to Yangon Central Railway, KFC, Sule Pagoda, Phamarcy. The wifi was very strong at lobby area across the floors but a little bit weak in our room probably due to our room located at the very other end.

Great Location”
Beautyland Hotel II is in a great location in downtown Yangon. It is close to the Bogyoke Market among other landmarks. The room we got was big enough for 4 with ample moving space. The negative for the room was that the air-con was not very cool, fortunately, fans were provided to supplement this. The staff spoke english and were very helpful and patient with our queries. Bottled water was also complementary and topped-up each day. All-in-all, the hotel was Good Value.

the rainy n busy Yangon in July ”
early check-in is available food in restaurant, not only the breakfast included, is nice and of reasonable price and big portion wifi is only available at the common area on the 2/F, there is also internet cafe outside the hotel beds are clean. AC in our room is freezingly cool, not bad though. it takes some time for hot water supply for the shower. convenient location, just a 3-min walk to Sakura Tower, a 15-min walk to the Bogyoke Market (NB: Close on Monday) about 20-30min taxi to Swedagon n Inya Lake a budget stay in the expensive Yangon

Best value for money and superb staff”
We had a very pleasant stay. Beatyland II is one of the best value for money hotels in yangon. The staff's service was superb: very kind and most helpfull. They managed to arrange a taxi for us to quite a remote place which took then 2 hours to arrange and didn't charge us.

Super friendly and helful!”
Beautyland was the first place we went to in Myanmar and was definitely a great welcome! The staff was really nice and made everything very pleasant for us. They even gave us a map of the area indicated where nearest sights are and explained how to get there, as well as other info on buses to nearby towns. Great location with all sorts of food stands, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The breakfast was lovely with lots of fruit and choice of authentic Myanmar dishes (Have to let them know a day in advance). They have a guest room on the first floor with all sorts of books and a couple of guides with info on Myanmar. Our room was a bit tight but totally fine for the amount we payed for. The only not so positive thing was the wifi which was very slow and we had some problems finding our next routes and bookings but people who are more prepared might not even need it, so other than that it was excellent and highly reccomended!

Very basic, no frills, but good service ”
Yangon hotel rooms are expensive due to under-supply, so although the price does not reflect it, this hotel is budget with a capital B, but it does not disguise the fact or attempt to claim otherwise. The rooms are very simple, moderately although not super clean, with very few additional amenities other than aircon. My room was especially drab since it did not even have a window -- a first in my travel experience. There is Wifi which you can access in a sweet little sitting room, but it's slow. The breakfast is fine but simple. What this hotel lacks in frills and glamour, however, it partly makes up for through great service. The staff were very friendly and fell over themselves to help me with my arrangements, going so far as to offer to cook me breakfast at 4am so I could still eat and catch my flight (I didn't accept). They also booked my cabs for me, and were very helpful regarding directions. And although they don't have the facility to call the room, they will come and knock on your door in lieu of a wake-up call. Beautyland Hotel is also very well-located in the downtown area, close to/walkable to several of the main attractions such as Sule Pagoda, the old railway station building, The Strand, old Post Office, and other colonial gems, as well as ATMs (there is a good one that accepted my UK card in the Cinema Complex on Sule Pagoda). It is also close to other larger hotels where you can go and use the Wifi for the price of a drink in the lobby area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget who plans to be in Yangon for no more than two nights and out and about all day and just needs a bed to sleep in and good service.

Helpful staff, but otherwise go somewhere else”
We picked this hotel because of the reviews about how helpful the staff were, and that was true. They helped with places to go and researched plane tickets to Bagan, let us pick which one, and bought them for us, too. Nice. They did arrange a taxi to pick us up at the airport, for $10, but it only cost $6 to get there. The room was very small and for the price we paid, it was not worth it. I would consider going somewhere else for the price since we like larger rooms. The breakfast was good, but basic, but we like the location, downtown and easy to get taxis (there are no motorcycles in Yangon) to take us were we wanted to go.

Good Value”
Aging but adequate hotel. Spent one night in Room 103 for about $36. The room was tiny (less than one meter of space on two sides of the bed) but adequate and clean, and well illuminated. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. There was a window, perhaps the only window on this floor, but it was frosted and thus not transparent. New curtains. AC worked fine. TV with a few English channels but no news channel. Bathroom was a bit dingy and touched with mold, but clean, and the hot water flowed. There is a comfortable sitting/reading room on the first floor which I would have used had I spent more time in town. Breakfast was fine - choice of eggs, pancakes, etc, along with coffee, fruit, juice, and a sponge cake desert. I ate at 8AM, and the poor server and cooks were overwhelmed by 15 guests simultaneously. Location is central, near Sule Pagoda but about 15 minutes walk from 19th Street in Chinatown, my preferred Yangon location. In short, a good value for a decent room, somewhat hard to find in overpriced Yangon.

Charming Hostel ”
Since we were on a budget for the entire trip, I already managed the expectations of my travel buddies that where we are staying is not exactly a 4-5 star hotel. I was impressed that after I did my booking, I emailed the hotel to inform them on my arrival and asked for tips for transfers from the airport and they replied right away. Their service is excellent! They really went out of their way to make their guests feel at home. Giving us a map and tips on where to go, directions, etc. We had an early flight to Bagan after staying with them for two nights, their staff got as a cab at 6am and prepared our breakfast at 5:30 am just to make sure we don't go to the airport with an empty stomach. It's actually very near the Sule Pagoda which can be the start of your tour if you're discovering Yangon. We also met other backpackers while having breakfast at their dining area. Internet connection could be faster but it's not that bad to disconnect from the world while you're in Myanmar.

Great location and staff”
Great location, next to the train station and the main sights. Staff is very helpful, rooms rather clean. Prices are more expensive than the rest of the SEA, but cheap for Yangon.
