Very good place for family stay”

The resort is very large equipped with many rooms. Though it's far from the happening areas of Pattaya, it gives a pleasure to stay in a calm area of Jomtien. They provide shuttle service to Jomtien beach road every hour, which is the best way to commute with other parts of the city from the beach road. Otherwise, guests have to rely on the taxi service from resort which sometimes becomes costly and only negative point of this place. Centra by Maris excels in all other aspects. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is also very large and busy with kids and families. The breakfast is also very nice with a lots of option to choose from. We liked their live section very much at breakfast. Staffs are well spoken and prompt at service. As it's a very large resort, it never felt congested even when it was fully booked. Its a best pick for travelers with kids and peoples who likes to stay away from the crowd. We had a great stay here.

Good value for money”

The hotel was really good for the price. The location is far for walking but makes up for it with free shuttles every hour to Jomtien Beach and twice a day to Pattaya Beach. The concierge desk was very helpful and the prices were fair - the concierge arranged a driver with a/c van, discounted tickets to things we wanted to go see, helped me plan our whole time there. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel room was very clean. Room service was delicious and prompt. Hotel pool is very nice and big and has good spa baths. The gym is good with new equipment. I'm very annoyed only with Agoda itself that they didn't make it clear that we booked for a room without breakfast. I would have paid more for the breakfast buffet and wanted to have it, and was so pissed off that I missed the fine print on that because it's too expensive to pay for it there. That was the only thing that spoiled our honeymoon. There's lots for kids too and we'd go back again with our daughter.

ALAS.... A MODERN RESORT HIDEOUT IN PATTAYA !”

Book from Agoda for about 54SGD per night. Selected this place as based on the price I get a huge space unit, free breakfast and a new place. Very resort feel lobby with all the resort furnitures, layout and setup. Check in was easy and fast as receptionist speaks good English. The rooms are in an apartment style building. The white color building somehow just didn't match the resort feel. As expected the room size I had at Block 5 was huge. Bed was comfy. Room with digital aircon. Artistic minimalist furniture. TV mounted on the wall was atat small BUT the best signal reception in all the Pattaya hotels I have stayed. Room is very clean. no funky smell. Toilet is also clean but lack simple stuff such as tooth brush unless you call them for it. Hot and cold water in the shower was OK. Full breakfast layout and food was great. Recommend to sit out side as the airconditining area will make your clothes smell due to the cooking and poor exhaust. Huge pool area. You kinda don't want to go to Pattaya beach anymore. There is a spa center which I think for its cleanliness, the price is OK. Enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back if the same price still stands.

Best hospitality & atmosphere”

Without doubt one of my best favorite hotels I stayed during my vacation time Jomtien! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel as well as restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had four great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The other day, we did a roaming inside city with a motorbike rented from hotel it was in a reasonable rate, (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed swimming pool inside hotel & its atmosphere. The atmosphere was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in evening / night in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural sea bath on the end was a great way to end the journey. Note, this is not a 5-star hotel but the ovarall-atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Bad location but it’s quiet and the facility is 5 Stars.”

Located near Jomtien beach but no seaview. The only way to reach the hotel is by car and no, you can’t walk to the beach. But the room is spacious and breakfast is superb! Staffs are very nice to us every time we met any one. I would stay again if I visit Pattaya.

Fantastic hotel with great friendly staff ”

We loved our stay at Centra Maris resort and will use the Centara group again. The pool area is wonderful. All the staff are very helpful and polite , excellent all round !

Very quiet”

Somewhat away from the busy beaches and the street noise of Jomtien , this is a quiet oasis . Rooms are sober but clean . Big swimming pool . The daily buffet is extremely good , a bit pricy , 1000 baht , but worth it : lobster , oysters , lamb , you name it. Breakfast is good , but not exceptional . There is an hourly much appreciated free shuttle service to the beach road and a one time shuttle to Central Pattaya .

Wonderful hotel with spacious room and lovely swimming pool ”

My family stayed in the family suite which is literally a suite with 3 separate spaces that can be divided by sliding doors. The swimming poor is big and lovely. Although near Jomtien Beach, the hotel is not easy to access without driving a car or taking a tour bus. during my short 1 night stay more than 50 tour buses came and dropped tourist at the lobby.

Warm welcome by the staff. Hotel is new and our family residence room is really comfortable. Staffs at Centara Maris are very responsible and do paying attention on theiry duty. One of the staff at the pool area without caring himself his own belongings (mobile phone, purse..etc.) might get wet, even help the nearly drown little boy at the pool. Give him a thumbs up!

Bit far from Pattaya beach, but great if you plan to spend most of your time on Jomtien beach. Hotel requires to extend number and hours of complimentary shuttle bus services to Pattaya beach, which I was told is in the works.

Happy with the Hotel”

The atmostphere and the location is great, away from Jomtien beach busy area. The room is very clean and very new. The breakfast fresh buffet offers wide variety of choices but the coffee choice is limit. All staff always have nice smile. Recommend for family for short vacation. The wifi signal is quite weak but that is not the big problem.

I chose centara since its name as a famous chain hotel, but it is not by the beach, it is like 10 mins drive to the beach which is pretty far compare to the price. Exterior building is Ok, However interior decoration was warm and cozy, I feel so relax staying in the hotel room. Service is a plus, all staffs are willing to help you, well informs and great services.

A few rough edges, but great staff.”

On a weekend getaway from Bangkok with family, we were expecting a change of scene from big city noise and congestion. The Centara Maris was perfect in that respect. Front desk staff were efficient and courteous throughout our stay. The room was huge, beyond expectations. We were somewhat disappointed in the spartan furnishings (no tables, for instance) and the rather below average toiletries. Breakfast was ordinary, and

Nice hotel ”

Enjoyed spending time at Centra Maris. The hotel is new and pretty well designed. We booked Premium room and it's big & clean. The pool is huge just like in the pics. Staff was real nice and helpful. But breakfast was disappointing, not many choices of food and didn't taste good, some flies were at the food area as well which is quite unacceptable. They need some improvement on breakfast and this hotel would be such a perfect place to stay.

Big room, good pool and nice breakfast buffet”

The room is very spacious and clean. The resort is a bit out of Pattaya and Jomtien. You will need to have a car to move around. Kids should love this resort with pool facility. The buffet line for breakfast is great and delicious. Would recommend this resort to friends and family for the next visit to this area.

Not quite as I expected”

Not quite as I expected. My first visit is better than this time. The receptionist isn’t quite happy to work their job. Room and facilities are good as expected. Let’s see if it better next time. If not... well... I’ll have another chance to be loyal to another place that I’ll stay at Pattaya/Jomtien

Excellent”

Helpful, friendly staff. Big comfortable bed. Big, varied buffet breakfast, with fresh pancakes. Plus eggs made to order. Get the taxi arranged by hotel. Narn is a very good driver. Car (Camry) is large and top of the range. Hotel is about 30 minutes' drive to Central shopping centre, Pattaya. Free van. A van also goes to a beach... about 20 minutes' drive.

Sound proofing of the rooms must be improved”

Sound proofing of the room is not great at all. You will hear all the noises from corridor or from upstairs. I stayed at suit even have another door inside the room doesn't help at all. Other than above stay was nice. Children will like the kids club. Jomtien beach is nearby...!

Lovely atmosphere here”

I went with a large group my family with young children from 3 months old + . The staffs were so friendly and speak fluent English, which makes things easier for me. Although, we only stayed for for 1 night, we took full advantage of the swimming pool by arriving around 3pm. We enjoyed our little splash at the swimming pool as it was not too deep for an adult to stand on their tippy-toes. There is also a bar where we can get any sort of beverages you can ordered at the side inside the swimming pool itself, so you needn't need to come out of the pool! For the kids are, it was filled with fun sprinkle tunnels, a shallow pool and a small dinosaur slide. The kids loves these activities and kept them entertained for quite a while. The room itself was spacious and clean. The hotel provide you with free wifi and no password needed. We woke up and was very surprised with the amount and variety of breakfast served. It was very impressive. This hotel offer such great value for its price. 5*!
