Good location. Clean room.”

Location is very near to ximending shopping area and ximen station (5 mins walk). Everything in the room is good and clean. The staff very helpful and friendly. Since we arrived early before our check in time they allowed us to leave our luggage at the female dorm's lobby and we went to stroll around the city. Self check in / out very convenient to us. We will definitely book again at cheers loft and recommend this to our families and friends.

Great Location, Most value for money in the neighbourhood”

Great location, and cheap. Probably the cheapest that you can find in the neighbourhood. Tips from my experience are that if you're booking a double room when you book it request for the room in 3rd floor. Better room, and will totally change your experience of staying. Trust me. There is a catch though, it is a no-staff hotel (but the staff on the phone are very helpful if you have any question). Which means, you will have to do the check-in at the machine at the hotel lobby (it is not really a lobby, just a hall in the building across from a salon) Could be tricky to find the hotel since there isn't ant signboard, you really have to pay attention to the address and the number. It's very close to metro, and shops and ximending (if it's your first time to Taipei, it's a convenient area to be at. easy access to almost everything you need. Especially LGBT traveller.)

Affordable and Clean Hostel!”

1911 Hostel is located within a building of many more hostel/hotel. Its hard to find at first even if you know you are in the correct place. No signage, only a door. Arrived on schedule but there wasn't any person assisting at the Reception. I had to go to another hotel and ask them politely so I can use their phone to contact the hostel. (Receptionist apparently was sick, someone else had to assist me) I stayed on a single room, with only FEMALE guests at the floor, the whole hostel is CLEAN and maintained. WIFI is fast, controllable thermostat and cabled TV. You will be given a key card upon check-in to access your room and the entrance to the hostel. The common washroom is equipped with hairdryers for guests use, facial wash, cotton, and other basic needs. Staying here is so affordable and accessible as it is near Ximen Station (about 5-10mins walk) and the whole Ximending area, there is also convenience store along the way. Check out is also a breeze too. This hostel is highly recommended for female solo and group travellers.

The room was smaller than I thought but overall it was a really pleasant trip for staying in Cheers Loft, btw the services was really great & their laundry service only TWD100 with unlimited pcs of clothes which is really affordable!

Great Stay Hotel Room”

Stayed in the room under Cheers Hotel. The room is spacious and clean, fully equipped with cleaning tools, shampoos, towel and etc. We chose standard double room, it even have a bathtub which is our favourite. Self check-in machine is actually easy to use with clear instructions and easy access. Overall we had a great stay in this hotel, definitely will be back if we travel to Taiwan again.

Pro: The hostel is located in an an old and somewhat shady looking building but the hostel itself is very new and modern. The location is good: in Ximending, about 3 minutes walk from the MTR. We had no problem finding the hostel, though the sign outside only says hotel and doesn't show the hotel name. The staff is great, they speak very good English and are very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us to print something. They also have luggage scales, very useful! Con: Our room didn't have a window, which was not mentioned on Agoda, but it's not too bad because the room didn't feel stuffy at all. There is no shower curtain which means the entire bathroom gets wet when you take a shower, water even got into the room.

Good Location & Nice Interior”

Very good location, about 5 minutes walk to Ximen MRT Station Exit 1 and 7 minutes walk to Ximending. Lift available for access to the room. Privacy of guests maintained. Nice and clean interior. A little noisy because it is by the road but bearable. Hotel is difficult to find, suggest more directional signage. Thanks for the hospitality, we enjoyed our stay!

Brilliant stay!”

There were 3 of us travelling together, and even though we booked separately, the staff jiggled things around to let us stay together in a 4 bed. They were very friendly, the beds were comfy and clean, the showers were great, and you get a front door + a room key, so you can come and go at whatever time you want. Great location too, in the Ximending area, 2 minute walk to the metro station. It was very hard to find though, and a passerby had to help us by ringing them for help. Otherwise a perfect stay!

I stayed in private single room. I The room was clean and comfortable. The area was quite and very close to ximen. However If you are looking for socialise hostel, this is not the place. Most of the time you won't see any staff, however you could call them through automated check-in machine when you need any help. I would recommend for anyone who like privatecy like me. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Taipei.

Personal, very private mini hostel”

You get in without receptionists, just a vendo that takes in your booking ID and your Passport/ID pick then a hotel keycard comes out. Perfect for people who don't want to interact so much haha. Even though there was no one. someone was there to assist and they still accept requests when booking online. The room was very nice. Considering its location which is just in front of Ximen and 3-5mins walk to the MRT station, the price for a standard double room is incredibly cheap! Then they fix your things for you such as fold your dirty clothes apart from just cleaning the room as well. I love the fact that the hostel has a single room even though bathroom is shared.. This hotel / hostel is so cool!

Tip for others, don't look for hostel sign, they don't have one you can instead look for Modern Hair Salon sign, it was on the same building and share the 2nd floor with this hostel. It was easier to find, you can also look into the building second floor window and you will find the same hair salon sign. it was across some japanese tea house called Rinbasho. The hostel it self very hassle free, auto check in and check out. but if you ever need something just ask the hostel staff using the check in machine, you will directly connected to the hostel staff. they help me to book seat for starbucks at taipei 101 and also allow me to leave my luggage before the check in time. very recommended for solo traveller

Location Is Good and The Staff Is Helpful”

The location is very near to XiMenDing & its MRT station... The Staff is very helpful and friendly, even though we only communicated thru the "Check-In" machine and phone calls. Really appreciate their help and kind assistance during my stay in Taipei.. Thanks a lot ya...

-Near to Ximending -Near to MRT Exit 1 (turn left , go straight)walking distance less than 3mins -Near to 7-11 and Family Mart -Comfortable room with bath tub -Easy Auto self check in and check out (no need deposit) *Along the way back to hotel a bit queit . Dangerous for single lady. *No proper signboard overall 8/10

Great female-only backpackers”

Extremely clean bathroom. I stayed in a single room and although small, very comfortable for a short stay. The single room does need a chair or stool though, just to put a bag or some clothes on. Perfect for a single traveler and very close to Ximending shopping area - perhaps a 3 minute walk. The walls are very thin so noise does carry but again, if just there for a few days, it's perfect.

Exceptional”

Very close to MRT, only that it doesnt have a big sign outside so it was difficult to figure out where it was. Convenient check in system and prompt-to-reply staff. I didnt expect room cleaning and bed doing for everyday with this kind of price (single room female only, share bath). It is good for solo female traveler like me. The only thing bothers me was that I have to carry room key card to shower, meaning it shuts down the AC of the room everytime i go out.

Really good room”

I stayed at cheer loft for a week, the room is really good and well clean. The only problem for me is the kiosk machine used to checked in is quite hard to use. Apart from that, everything is good.

Comfortable room”

The room is very clean but a bit hard to find...the nearest mrt station is ximending exit 6....just walking distance to the night market
