A great hotel a short walk from TRA Chiayi Station”

The hotel is quite new, the room I had was lovely with good facilities and a nice city view. The buffet breakfast enjoyed in the bright 5th floor cafe is very nice. It is only a 10mn walk from TRA Chiayi Station or the bus terminal, and there is a free parking 3mn from the hotel by foot. The only problem during my stay was an occasional bad smell from the bathroom plumbing.

Modern and comfortable”

Modern hotel is in good location 15mn by foot from TRA Chiayi Station or Wenhua Road night market. Comfortable and well-designed room with good bathroom facilities and big window for much natural light. Good buffet breakfast served in pleasant bright cafe on 5th floor. Parking in separate location 3mn by foot on the same road. The 3PM check-in time seems to be strictly observed -- in case of early arrival, Donutes Cafe just across the road is a lovely place to spend some time waiting.

Very Comfortable Stay”

Place is very comfortable for a groups of 4s. The bed is very soft and clean. Had one of our best nights at Chiayi Look Hotel throughout our entire trip.

Best deal ever! ”

For a very, very reasonable nightly rates, you get extremely clean, well-furnished rooms, a decent breakfast, new facilities located just a couple blocks from the city center, Wenhua Rd. Night Market, the original Chiayi Chicken Rice Restaurant Hinoki Cultural Village and the main train and bus stations. I would definitely stay here again the next time around!

Awesome location and value. ”

As I have said in a previous review, this hotel is absolutely unbeatable for the price. Being located very near the busiest part of town and only a five minute walk to Wenhua Road Night Market is a great plus. I still can’t believe what they can offer for the price. The building and decor are extremely clean and contemporary and the complementary breakfast is more than decent considering the price. The only downside is that their parking lot is not only outdoors but also about three blocks away.

Nice hotel”

Hotel is 10 mins walk from Chiayi Railway Station where we took the Alishan Forest Railway to Alishan and the complimentary shuttle bus to high speed railway station to catch our high speed train to Taoyuan Airport. WenHua night market is just round the corner. Hotel provides complimentary self-laundry and nice breakfast spread comprising Taiwanese and Western items.

Chinese experience ”

I needed a spot to hook up the Alishan Rail Trip. I think now it’s better to be closer to Chiayi Main Rail Station. The stay was ok. Eggs served cold. Tough act for breakfast I’ve had Better. Room was spot on.

7-11 and familmart need a5 minute walk to reach and there also have ashopping mall . from the hotel to chiayi train station is about 5minutes,about NT100

Execellent location and breakfast”

Chaiyi Look Hotel is new, modern and has good facilities. The breakfast spread is good and the quality is there. The rooms are clean, MPR Ern , ew and well maintained. The facilities is agequate, however, I did not have the opportunity to try the facilities due to time. Will definitely return to stay there.

New and nice hotel”

Very clean and new hotel , room like 4 star hotel with 3 star price. Location was good where there were many shops around the vicinity. There was laundry facilities but only one 2in1 washing machine where dryer don’t function quite well. Overall the room roomy and clean which meet our expectation

good location, spacious room, great lightning. the staff however look cold, no smiling face, perhaps most chiayi people is like that?

A good 3* hotel”

Rooms were clean, modern and well appointed. This seems to be a child friendly hotel. Staff was very helpful as they found an alternate room for us. (Our room was not as expected.) Website did not specifically indicate if a room has no windows, so potential guests need to ensure they get the room they are looking for. Breakfast buffet was in a cafeteria like room and had a variey of food; unfortunately, most of the dishes were only luke warm. Bicycles and umbrella were available free of charge.

Pro :Great buffet breakfast for the price of the room. Room is spacious and clean. Con: Staff is not flexible on check - in. Only allowed check - in on the dot at 3pm. Most hotels we went were very flexible.

Family Friendly Hotel Good Breakfast”

Hotel is much better than any hotels that we stayed in Taipei. Service is superb. The room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is authentic and lots of choice. The only negative is the room temperature. It is cold and no way to increase the temperature.

Excellent”

The quality worths the price. Thing that I dont like the most is the location, it’s a little far from the station but not far enough for the taxi driver to take me here so I had to walk to the hotel :( So anyway, the room is very big and comfortable, the buffet breakfast has many kinds of food.

Exceptional”

Overall, a nice decent hotel during our stway, there were cigarette smoke smell in the room. when we feedback to the best hotel staff, they promptly took action to reduce the smell the next day. Have a gym too.

Spacious room for a short stay ”

Room looks new and comfortable to stay. Nearby hotel is the Wen hua night market. Walking distance to train station, about 10 min. But with large luggage it's inconvenient due to no proper pedestrian walkway. Thus we decided to take a taxi at NT100 to the train station when we go back. Hotel staff can hire a taxi for u.

Good breakfast”

Also good bakery opposite Cheapest rooms do not have windows. First room we checked into have smoky smell so reception moved us to second room. Unfortunately this room was not available for the both nights so we quickly got moved again - to a bigger room ! :-) Young gentleman at reception (we did not get his name) went to great efforts to help us with our travel plans to Alishan. Hotel is fair walk from train station. Restaurant staff helped decipher guest washing machine (same floor) to do additional drying cycle without restarting entire wash ! Breakfast is all Asian, but varied a bit each day so something new to try.

With that price, I can said value for money... some more they provide good breakfast! Location also good, best way is take a cab from train station as is not easy to drag luggage along the way to hotel, cost about $100. Near to night market. We stayed 1 night there, as the next morning we need to get train to Alishan. Nothing big to shout out, simple and good stay.
