Cihampelas hotels & places to stay

The Stay in Sensa Hotel Bandung is overall very good. There is a few advantage that Sensa Hotel have over other hotel which is the location is just next to the famous cihampelas walk. Cihampelas Walk is the most happening shopping and entertainment district in bandung which offering variety of shopping from branded to factory outlet which just few minute of walk away. As for food, there are all kinds of food available for your choosing ranging from Western, Japanese, local, to fast food. The best thing about the Sensa hotel is the wide connected window up to 90 degree angle which offering great view of the city. The hotel is overall stylish, clean, and neat.

Best location in the heart of Bandung city,, 10-15 minutes drive to Bandung Zoo and Paris Van Java Mall,, 5 minutes walk to Cihampelas Walk (large shopping mall in the area), Teras Cihampelas (hawker street local food), factory outlet. But i don't like the traffic jam around and front of the hotel (Cihampelas Street), faster n easier walking by foot better than driving. If you want to go to Lembang (Kampung Gajah, Farm House, Floating Market etc) around 1 hour drive by car on weekdays (around 3-4 hour drive on weekend or public holidays!!) breakfast quality n variety of the food is ok (if you want omelette, you have to ask restaurant staff). If you want to check out early in the morning, please ask valet staff to prepare your car ASAP,, bcauz the hotel only have small parking area. Wifi connection is quite good. Please provide hair dryer, small fridge, n liquid soap in the bathroom...

This hotel is strategically located in Cihampelas, the center of many shops particularly jeans. Nearby there is Cihampelas Walk (Ci Walk), a one stop open air mall where you can dine, hang-out or even watch movies. Breakfast is really adequate compare to the other same level of hotels. It has main menu, toasted bread with varieties of jams, salad, juice, fruit, and dessert bread. I'm surprised that they can offer you such a complete meal like a 5 star hotel but with a very low rate of stay (Only IDR 400,000). Of course, the amount is limited not like the one in a 5 star hotel but it really pleased the customers. A best value hotel so far! The hotel is small and so is the parking space. Other weakness is the bed so small, perhaps only 1 X 2 meters of single bed, not some 1.2 X 2 m or even a queen size (1.6 X 2m) single bed. If you come to Bandung just for a simple short stay, I would highly recommend this budget hotel. No doubt.

I have booked a Superior Twin room and requested for higher floor with view. At the check in counter, the receptionist kindly told me that for Superior Twin room there was no view for it. I was OK with it and felt warmness since they told you in advance. It was really came to my surprise that they really read my request! At my birthday, they even delivered a small piece of cake to my room. What a surprise! I really think that this hotel worth 5 stars for their service! This hotel is located near Rumah Mode and also Cihampelas Walk (within 10 minutes). Swimming pool and gym facilities are at the North Tower. Breakfast was really fantastic and I stayed for 4 days without any repetition. I really recommend for those who would like to have good breakfast in Bandung. Room size is ok but the toilet pressure is not strong enough to flush away the thing. Wifi signal is good for normal use. Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel with the money I paid. I highly recommend to everyone who come to Bandung.

When we arrived at the check in on the 24th of dec. the staff serving us at the check in counter for room 303 and 307 was very friendly and provided us with useful information. In general, the team at tama boutique hotel was awesome! THEIR SERVICE WAS SUPERB. One of the best that i've encountered and can be comparable to 5 star hotels. Breakfast was great and the room is very clean! would definitely recommend to anyone else travelling to bandung! Thank you very much Tama Boutique Hotel.

I was in Bandung for two days to arrange for my wedding, and honestly I never expected the hotel to be so good. The location of the hotel is good, if you like walking you can only spend 15 minutes to reach Cihampelas area, or Grab can just take you easily anywhere. It is considered the heart of the city. The hotel decoration itself is so good makes you feel like you are in a family house more than a hotel. Room was spacious, clean, cozy, and with nice decoration. Breakfast is just enough for the morning. The staff are so helpful and smiling all the time. I would definitely go back there if they offer the same rate, I believe the value for money is great.

The location is walking distance to cihampelas walk. The road was very crowded at nights. Hotel room is quite spacious and comfortable for a couple of nights. However, breakfast not much varities during weekdays stay, only during weekend we got to see more choices of foods. The only thing is dislike was the towel. The toeel is a small and smelly. Maybe the hotel management can improve on the towel. Overall, we had great 2 nights stay over there.

it was a pleasant experience to stay at amaris hotel in cihampelas. the staffs are very kindly and able to provide us a 2 twin beds within a short period of time eventhough it was a busy period. they always greet you with a smile. the room is clean and hot/cold drinking water is just around the corner. it is very convenience. the location is very strategic to the shopping mall ( cihampelas walk ) and snack shops.

Good place to stay in Bandung (Cihampelas) vert near to Cihampelas Walk (Ciwalk). The price was very cheap, all staffs was very nice, hospitality was good, we got the breakfast with the cheap price even the menu of the breakfast was always about chicken. The main road in front of the hotel is a one way, so you should to turn around if going somewhere then want to back to the hotel. Overall this hotel is very recomended and good place to stay in Bandung!

I spent a couple night for Business Meeting for my client, but I want my trip to be more than a Business Trip. So I ask them if they have package for vacation, and it is. They rent a Car for Bandung City Tour, so i just choose what kind of tour I want, and they will bring me to the tourist place. I choose North Bandung City Tour, and they bring me to Rumah Mode, Kampung Daun, Lembang, Tangkuban Perahu, Hot Spring Sari Ater. The next day, I try to walk by my self to find interesting spot. Because it is in Cihampelas Street, it is very near to Cihampelas Jeans Market. So, even traffic jam everywhere, you can easily walking through Jeans Market and go to Ciwalk. By public transportation, you can easily go to Dago Factory Outlet, Pasar baru, Station, etc. My conclusion is: The location is great

The hotel is close to Cihampelas area and passed by public transport that can bring you to other points of interest. Hotel is new and very clean. The facilities of the bathroom are complete (standing shower, hand shower, etc). The staff is very helpful, also those who guide you in the parking area. The choices for breakfast are fair, but the menu changes everyday. We very much enjoyed our staying in this hotel! Thank you hotel Kaisar and most likely another time again

On the arrival of my stay the Hotel was on under renovation, so we were booked in Hotel Cihampelas 2 which I say it even better. Because the Cihampelas 2 is sure look bigger and nicer hotel than the Cihampelas 1. The room is quite nice, just the tile on the floor and the ceiling over the bathroom seem like need some renovation. But overall the stay was quite nice, because the location to one of the biggest mall in Bandung.

(+) Satisfying breakfast (local food), all-day mineral water, coffee and tea. About 10 minutes walking to Cihampelas Walk. (-) Dim bedroom and bathroom lights. We stayed at the front most room (window facing the parking lot), at night there was I guess a beetle or some insect that made a very loud noise at night. When we asked the staff to help check, the staff stopped at saying "we're not sure what it is". We ended up having to go outside ourselves and flush the area under the window to get rid of the insect.

This is not a hotel, but rather suited to a hostel category for backpackers or travelers with a very limited budget. Without breakfast and private bathroom, at first the rate can be seen as too high, but the good news is that the offsets are very good: Directly on Cihampelas street (very easy to catch angkot, and thus the countless clothing outlets are within walking distance), lots of convenience stores nearby, decent wi-fi, and the room itself was new, very clean and modern looking. Room Tip: There are 3 floors: - The basement has good access to the motorcycle parking and the main road, but there is only one bathroom with a squatting toilet. The view is directly at level with nearby kampung (or I'd rather say slums), so privacy is a concern. Better close the window at all times. - The ground floor (same level as the main road) has only one bathroom with sitting toilet, but access to the outside is the worst, since you have to go through either the basement or 1st floor first. - The 1st floor is the best: has the most amount bathrooms, four, with 2 squatting toilet and the 2 sitting toilet. Same level with the lobby and it's the highest floor available with good view of surroundings.

The location of the hotel is very strategic, in Jalan Cihampelas, which is very near to 2 malls: Cihampelas Walk (Cihampelas Walk) and Paris Van Java (PVJ). Though it is a bit difficult to reach the hotel because Jalan Cihampelas is a one way road. First time traveler in Bandung should take not of these one way roads. The service was good, the staffs were very friendly and they were also very helpful when I asked them about directions. The room itself was decent; decently large and had a good TV. The bathroom was just okay.

a. Apartment building was not easy to locate & identify. Local was also at a lost with its address. There was no point of contact & was desperated/angry that i have been "scammed" b) As it was late i decided to find alternative accommodation & make official complaint to Agoda. Fortunately, Agoda was able to assist us after much hassale. c) Coincidently, the alternative apartment we found was the same apartment building that we booked but under another name, i.e. Jardine Apartment. d) After a few phone calls, the apartment owner managed to get a contact to meet & lead me to the "booked" apartment. The facility was below my expectation. Bad cold/warm water heating system, room lights dim & rooms are too crammed with only one air conditioning for whole the whole unit. e) Demanded further CASH deposits which we were not happy with. CONCLUSION - WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE.

I have to admit this is the first time i use Agoda Homes service and i am glad that i chose the unit. What made me choosing it is simply because of the interior design by the owner and color combination that excite me during booking. Jardin Apartment has prime location which is very near to Ciwalk and you can order Grab at the guard lobby to go anywhere in Bandung city. I was intended to cook but since there is Nasi Padang small restaurant which serves delicious sambal. Facilities were good, many laundry shops , various indonesian style food restaurants in the complex and good gym as well. . Owner also replied promptly to your questions and requests. The studio can fit in 3 peoples , not more . If i would suggest to owner to enhance this unit are : 1) Provide electric kettle (coz i bit lazy to boil water from the stove) and maybe ironing facility, 2) Additional safety indoor lock at the door 3) Small book rack with best selling novels for long staying customers to read.
