Beautifully decorated hotel, nice restaurant”
This was my second stay at the Cinderella Hotel. Originally booked a triple room (twin with extra bed), then cancelled the extra bed only to require it again once we arrived. The extra bed was provided no problems and charged separately. Although check-in took a little bit of time due to having to print out the Agoda voucher, afterwards we were quickly provided with an extra towel for the third guest in our party and like last time, we enjoyed the free goodies such as orange juice, cookies and the laptop (although we also brought our own). The hotel restaurant was easily the best choice for eating and this having been my third trip to Mawlamyine (and second overnight stay) I still haven't managed to eat outside the hotel, but given the excellent choices and quality of food at the hotel restaurant there has been little reason to.

You have to book this hotel ! ”
The location is perfect but it’s the personal the best! I didn’t book anything and I went to the travel agency the didn’t do nothing for me, not commercial at all. I explained this to the personnel and they hooked for me a driver to do a trek around Mawlamyine and booked my bus ticket and the taxi ! You don’t need a guide to discover around Mawlamyine and I will recommend the driver of the Cinderella hotel. He’s so nice, Very generous ! So I will recommend this hotel in 100% !

Beautiful and functional hotel full of history”
This was my 3rd stay at the Cinderella Hotel and I was not disappointed. After check-in, we were provided with a fruit platter full of rambutans and of course, the usual free cookies, tea and coffee were provided in the room. A couple of noticeable changes since my last visit: the bathrooms have been upgraded and now complement the rooms, whereas before they were somewhat shabby. Unfortunately, there was no more free tablet provided for guest use, although since I always travel with both a laptop and smartphone, personally I'm good, but it was a nice touch for guests that might be without these items in order to access the internet. However, they do have a couple of computers located on the ground floor for guest usage. Breakfast was nice, consisting of one local speciality plus some traditional Myanmar snacks, papaya and tea/coffee. Will be back again next time I'm in Mawlamyine (Moulmein).

Best Hotel in Mawlamyine Burma”
We are a couple in our 70's have stayed in many hotels in out time, but we found this little hotel with what is available to these people of Mawlamyine excellent, we were greeted from our taxi by a Porter wearing white gloves. We found this hotel excellent the room quite big with balcony, well stocked bar fridge plus snacks, ironing board & iron if required, TV plus plus laptop for our use. The Restaurant was located at the back of hotel and was open all day. The breakfast was great with 6-8 choices plus fresh fruit, we ate all our meals at this restaurant. We walked to most of the attractions around town and a taxi for others. Nothing hear is expensive at all. We would highly recommend Cinderella Hotel to any Burma travellers.

The best place in town”
We loved Cinderella. The main thing I would recommend is to go out to Ogre Island, flyer is at the front desk. Cinderella staff were attentive and friendly - our bus arrived 4 hours early (at 3am) and the staff readily welcomed us and made room for us to sleep on the floor (as there were no available rooms) when they could have easily told us that we weren't due to check-in until the afternoon. We had internet and a computer in our room, which was awesome. Beds were comfortable; among the best we had in Myanmar. And breakfast was tasty and hot, and they had wheat-free options (I was thrilled not to have to eat eggs AGAIN). You really can't go past this place if you come to Mawlamyine - we actually didn't want to leave!

Great base for relaxed Mawlaymine”
Just great: we preferred a room that would feel like coming back to and found that in the Cinderella. Mawlaymine has little very interesting to offer but is a pleasant city to wander around. From the hotel, everything can be reacties by door easily. Out room was spacious, we had all kinds of amenities and a great balcony overlooking the stupas and a church. The dining room is in a pleasant garden and staff will do about everything for their guests. Great place to come back to, to escape hot Mawlamyine!

Best place in Myanmar!”
I stayed at the Cinderella Hotel for 4 nights and it was the best hotel I was in all trip! The rooms were great and the staff were so helpful in organising day trips and bus tickets. I can not recommend them enough. If you go to Mawlamyine, stay in the Cinderella Hotel!

The only place to stay!”
This really is the only hotel to stay in when visiting Mawlamyine. I booked a deluxe double room and could not fault anything with the hotel. The location is within walking distance to all sites in town, there is parking for those needing it, breakfast was ordered off a menu and the food was very tasty. All the staff members were brilliant, very friendly, helpful and attentive. The laundry service was fast, same day, if not just a touch pricey. The room was large with a balcony and the mini bar was packed full. As I said, I couldn't find a fault with my stay and I have no hesitation in fully recommending this hotel.

A comfortable stay in one of Myanmar's most unique hotels”
As my preferred accommodation whenever I come to Mawlamyine (though there are two other regular hotels I stay at on occasion, especially when this very popular hotel is full) I have stayed here many times, since my first visit in 2013. Everything from the traditional decorations to the room layout and breakfast are unique and make for an amazing experience. On this occasion, I traveled with my business partners who have now also stayed here several times. Will surely come again on my next trip, which will hopefully be sometime early in the new year (fingers crossed).

Very nice stay in Mawlamyine. Cinderella has large comfortable rooms, nice AC, good beds, and some rooms have nice balconies. Breakfast was good. Staff extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great as usual”
Excellent value for money, nice friendly staff, beautifully decorated hotel and guest rooms. I liked the freebies in the room and the room was nice and big too. At first the hot water took a while to come on, but in the end it was fine. Dinner was superb, though unfortunately because it was getting late we couldn't avail ourselves of the entire menu, just the Thai/Chinese dishes. Breakfast was also amazing. We will surely be back again on our next trip to Mawlamyine.

My stay was great! Room and service exceed my expectation. The price I paid for was really value for money. The Staffs are nice and friendly, they even helped me to do the translation as my driver's English is limited. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I come to Mawlamyin.

Beautifully appointed hotel ”
This is my preferred hotel when coming to Mawlamyine. I occasionally spend the night elsewhere, particularly when this place is full as it can be during the high season. My stay was very comfortable as usual. I enjoyed the breakfast, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and the TV features several international channels. Good value for money and very cozy. Have been coming here since 2013. Hope to be able to stay again in 2021 once border restrictions ease.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years, dating back to 2013. It's one of my personal favorites when staying in Mawlamyine; I usually stay here or one or two other places. In terms of location, it's definitely the best option. As usual, my room came with some freebies and both the wifi and TV with several international channels worked well. Breakfast was great and served outside (during the rainy season it's served inside the restaurant). Only thing missing is a pool, but given the limited size of the property it's unlikely one could be added.

Excellent”
Very clean dorms and comfortable beds, good showers and proper towels. Staff very friendly and helpful (but you’re paying for the hotel style service). Breakfast is not included, but there are good options for restaurants nearby. Also went out to some of the nearby attractions with a driver organised through them, would probably say that the reclining Buddha was the only thing worth seeing. Overall a very nice place to stay, especially given the limited options in Mawlamyine.

Kitschy and comfortable”
Although we didn't find Prince Charming or the glass slipper, we did find a welcome refuge from the sweltering heat of Mawlamyine in late April. The room was large and clean, water pressure was good, wifi worked 90% of the time and we were deluged with complimentary coffee, tea, water, cookies, and fruit plates. The fried rice for breakfast was better than the toast and eggs offered as a Western choice, but the papayas and bananas were fresh and delicious. Wait staff in white gloves did have a problem fitting all the plates (one for fruit, one for toast, one for eggs, one for fried rice) onto to good-sized table. Other hotel staff, of which there were many, always opened the door with a smile and a greeting. Location was up two blocks from the river, and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and the riverside BBQ stalls that spring up every night at sundown. Like everything else in Myanmar, prices are rising to meet the recent influx of investors and tourists. We felt the $50 US was a bit steep for what was offered, but would return again.

A good choice where there are few options”
Cinderella, overall, is fine . . . nice, even. Clean, conveniently located, and the restaurant is a nice space. I am, however, going to say something here about the staff. It is well known that travel by bus in the country often places travellers in situations where they arrive in the very early hours of the day. In my case, 6am. This staff, like many around the country, handle this with grace and hospitality. However, as I was scheduled to stay in the dorm, I was especially sensitive to the disruption checking in early may cause to others still sleeping in the dorm. So, while I appreciated the offer, I asked to simply put my bags aside, since I was planning to make my way to the early morning market for breakfast. But, the staff absolutely insisted, and indeed, we surely woke all four people in the dorm still sleeping. There is a sense of "we know better than you" that frequently pervades communication with hotel staff in Myanmar. Sometimes, the guest may have the better idea.

Staying at the Cinderella was a great choice! The staff were super friendly and helpful (they go out of their way to help), the rooms are so comfortable including the dorms. The breakfast is delicious and they give ample of it! Location wise it's in walking distance to a main street with everything you'd need, plus another block down takes you to the river where there is a great cafe called My City.

Exceptional”
Perfectly' situated, within walking distance of the main interesting places, this hotel is by its de oration a real museum with a lot of local artistic objects. Very cosy, real Cinderella atmosphere. Just you have to be careful, breakfast is served in a very nice garden only up,to 09.00 sharp !
