The location was great! The staff was really helpful and breakfast was a wide range of breads, fruits, and other foods to get your day started. There are many great places to eat and beautiful places to visit near by! There's even parking, which is perfect because it's often hard to find in the center of the city!
Organized room, In front of shopping mall, On the way to airport from downtown.
The room was big, the food was great, the the air cond is leaking a lot of water! The air conditioner does not have a drain system, condensed water just drop out of air conditioner and onto the floor
Staff do not speak English

I liked the hotel alot.
It was fairly pleasant. The place is a bit expensive, but facilities are excellent. They server a great breakfast. The front staff speak english, but there are still challenges in communication! Experience for an english speaking travel can be improved. Thanks..
A bit stupid staff, I was there with my girlfriend and I knew she had stayed there before but staff says to her in front of me “oh, you have already stayed here”. We just laughed at stupid staff but the situation could have been a different one. No drinking water in room (apparently Ibis standard) , breakfast badly managed, running out of bread, plates, cups, a bit slo...
it was not Bad, acceptable, room are wide, the location is almost in the center. but the staff not good in English

Having said that after dark we have had the same feeling in other Brazilian major cities .. in more so called uptown areas .... Just be streetwise ... PLEASE. ... . Please don't let us put you off staying here location will not stop us returning next time in BH

You can walk to bus station and almost any place in the city. shopping near by. night life near by. very safe place. no english whatsoever. you need to know few words in portegese. breakfast is standard. almost any 3 star hotel serves the same breakfast. room was super clean. restroom was aduquate. over all this is a good place ...
We had to pay around 50 reais for the parking, really expensive and if I knew I would book a hotel with parking. I had a issue at checkout as it took about 1 hour for them to confirm I had paid in advance through agoda, I almost paid twice...
We were in BH for just a couple nights and while we mainly hung out in Savassi, the SDE worked well for us. It was clean, and mostly comfortable (although the beds are hard), and the hotel seems newly renovated.

Cheap places to stay in Belo Horizonte
The location of the hotel is good as it is close to the main market and other conveniences. However, after traveling around Brazil for a month as a family of 6, this was the most we paid for a hotel room. The owners would not let us squeeze into a bigger room, like we did in many other hotels in the region, and the rooms were very basic. Look around for better options...
