"It is a rite-of-passage to get lost in the medinas of Morocco while looking for your hotel upon arrival. But once I found Dar Swiar, I really appreciated the location. It is not far from the plaza and a main road (convenient for taxis). Yet, it is located in a quiet alleyway, not in the middle of the most crowded areas where the tourists are passing by all the time. Best thing about Dar Swiar is the lovingly-decorated room and wonderful facilities of a simple kitchenette. The owner is extremely friendly, and so is the neighbour (hahaa) who manned the leather store opposite. Great value-for-money. Highly-recommended."
