Sama-Sama Hotel Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Sepang / KLIA,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"First of all, the hotel room is very quiet, although you can literally see the jets landing or taking off every few minutes. Just close the window curtain, dim the light, and you'll feel like sleeping in sanctuary. This hotel is also more luxurious than most 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and the room is equipped with digital pad to control lighting, smart alarm, room service, etc. And you will be shocked with its affordable price. This hotel has a tunnel to KLIA Airport, with 24-hour free buggy car service. From the hotel lobby, it will take 5 minutes to reach your room, or 3 minutes to reach the airport (with buggy car). So, it is literally faster to reach the airport than to reach your room."

Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

"It was a real pleasure to stay at the MO. The service was impeccable, the staff very professional and kind, the hotel is in a great location and the breakfast was really excellent. Any question, or request we had were immediately answered to by the hotel staff. The only disappointment was the view from the room, we booked the room with the tower view, but it is very close to the towers and they were not lit so we were really surrounded by buildings and skyscrapers (the pictures shown on the website are not accurate). Otherwise it was a great experience. If we ever return to Kuala Lumpur, MO will be our first hotel choice!"

Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur

"The Legend Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was an excellent experience, especially the staff. They were polite, smiled, and provided overall excellent service. The breakfast was very good and had a good variety of food. The hotel was a bit out of the main area, but that was probably good. The train was just outside the hotel. I enjoyed the daily newspaper and there was a good selection of TV channels. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. I would stay there again on my next trip."

Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara
One Utama / Damansara,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"Had a great start to my short stay on Sun 3 Jan. Check-in process was quick & smooth (except for one female staff nearby who was unmasked when speaking to me, which made me uncomfortable), facilities were in great condition and the room was well-lit & well-designed. No issues there at all and things were neat and clean. When we got back to the hotel one night, it was late and so I requested for 6 bottles of water as I'd received 4 additional bottles of water the night before. I was told by a staff member that 2 at a time was the max that could be provided, which was very odd and clashing with what I had experienced the previous night. I communicated this to the staff, whose only response was 'Oh, ok then.' We would have been fine with only 2 at a time if this was communicated at any point. This is also a really odd policy because we may not want to repeatedly call housekeeping each time we finish a 500ml bottle. In addition, I am thirty this year and have travelled to different countries and also stayed in Sofitel BKK; this is the first time I've heard of such an inane policy limiting a guest to only 2 bottles. If you do insist to enforce this in future, best you include the info on your Agoda page so people have a heads up to not book rooms for this particular branch if they wish to request for additional water bottles. That was a minor blip during my stay, but the most unacceptable to me was during my checkout today Wed 6 Jan AM when I was attended by a staff who only had his mask half-on, below his nose. I requested he pull it back up; my friend and I were appropriately masked. He was reluctant, citing "my glasses would get misty" i.e. his glasses would fog up upon pulling it up. My friend with me, the other guest, was also bespectacled, and yet she had her mask on properly. I insisted, and he did so... only to not pull it up again when it fell down past his nose. I had politely interrupted his previous question of 'when will you be coming back to stay with us?"

Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Hotel
KLCC,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"Hotel has one of the best views of the Petronas Towers (if you take one of the Grand View rooms, which we did), so you really don't need to go all the way to that place to take photos. Breakfast at Thirty8 was a little disappointing, menu doesn't change for the 3 days we stayed there. JP Teres was great, though, with a large selection of dishes from their buffet style restaurant. Rooms are excellent, the staff very courteous and helpful. We've been in a lot of hotels, and undoubtedly Grand Hyatt KL is one of the best. Location also is good, just walking distance from Suria KLCC, Pavilion Mall, Petronas Towers, and so on. Highly recommended hotel if ever you're looking for a great place to stay in Kuala Lumpur."
