Lisbon hotels & accommodations

I chose Hotel Star Inn because of its location.... I had an early flight the next day. The location was perfect, I could have walked to the airport. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The single most important thing about Hotel Star Inn is the amazing staff! Everyone was friendly to me and made sure all of my needs were met. Due to my early departure, the de...

Clean, modern hotel. We didn’t book breakfast so can’t comment on that, relatively small, there was no bar. Our room was lovely and modern, on the small side but we knew that before we booked from previous reviews, the bathroom was clean and modern with a fantastic shower, the bedding was changed everyday and the room tided. We paid before we arrived at the hotel and ...

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The hotel is very nice, however, it is in the business area of Lisbon, and there is not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity. The room we had was spacious, spotlessly clean, had a huge comfortable bed, and very contemporary design - Easily the best hotel I've stayed in. The whole hotel was excell...

I would recommend this hotel to everyone for the location, cleanliness, staff were so helpful. We stayed 4 nights in Lisbon end of July, then we did Porto and then Algarve. I can say that the staff at My Story Hotel Ouro are the best. We came back to take our plane in Lisbon and we asked if they were able to keep our luggage for 2 hours, with no hesitation they said...

We arrived in Lisbon after a tiring red eye flight and delays retrieving luggage and were quite exhausted. But upon arrival at the hotel, staff were very supportive (although room wasn't available for early check-in). Still, we were able to refresh ourselves in their lobby as we took a few moments to change etc in their rather spacious rest rooms. The rooms were a tad...

1. Modern Hotel 2. Large bedrooms 3. Extremely clean 4. Nice GYM and Pool 5. Breakfast was ok 6. Location ok, a bit of a walk to downtown but taxi in Lisbon is cheap. They have nearby restaurants and supermarket and Amoreiras shopping. 7. Pleasant staff, despite the check-in was a bit of a wait. 8. Overall, the hotel is comfortable comparing with other hotels in Lis...

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and pleasant to have each morning before we set out for the day. The hotel is in a great location in walking distance to most attractions in Lisbon. It was also very easy to get to from the hotel - you can just catch the aerobus to Rossio square for 4 euro. W...

I stayed here in March with 4 friends. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and everything was great. The apartment was clean well stocked with linen, toiletries and kitchen necessities. The location was also perfect especially being right across the road from the Time Out market and a stone's throw from the water. It's really easy to get around the city from here. The only n...

We stay here for 3 nights . Unluckily, we had arrived Lisbon on a rainny week! But at the bright side this guest house is amazing to stay! Spacious room space, very clean and worth the stay! Near the metro, bus n supermarket too, Feel like we just can rest in the room during the bad weather time. Plus receptionist here are very friendly. Overall it was the best stay i...

Corpo Santo Hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from many places of interest in the heart of Lisbon. I must say it is in a quiet area though. There are several restaurants in the vicinity. The room was of good size cozy and welcoming with a touch of modern luxury. Shower and toilet was clean and in very good condition. Rooms are serviced daily and most da...

I received a room upgrade after being told my booking at Brown's Boutique was cancelled and they failed to notify me prior to check in. But they definitely made up for it at Brown's Central. The room was spacious (esp by European standards) and I was impressed by the amenities: a Mac desktop, Marshall bluetooth speakers, plenty of power sockets, full length mirror, a w...

We can not recommend this hotel enough. Abosolutely fantastic location and ideal for exploring Lisbon . Our room had everything we wanted and was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast included and there was such a large choice that everyone is catered for , there is even champagne for those who fancy an early drink. I would particularly like to praise the staff at the hot...

One of the best rooms in Lisbon with attention to details. Front office staff were very helpful and friendly and looked after the needs of the guests really well. Good breakfast too compliments to the chef with endless refills. This was my second stay at Browns Hotel in Lisbon and will definitely stay again !!!

We stayed in Hotel Avenida Palace for 4 nights in January 2017. The hotel is strikingly beautiful and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The staff is warm and welcoming and can assist with any request you need help with. Location is excellent - right next to the Roissi train station; although you hear absolutely no noise from the train station. The metro is a very...

We are very happy with their services which should be up to 5 star level. Although its location is a bit far ( by walking ) to the cit down town, but we are 100% satisfied with their staffs services, who are friendly, understandable and helpful, e.g. even we are a little bit for check in, they were still patient to explain and tried their best to help us to sort out a...

From the moment I made the call for the shuttle bus, it was all made so easy for us. We arrived at the hotel and immediately we where offered an upgrade to the best room and best view in the house. The choice for breakfast was wonderful and great quality. We where able to leave our bags, as we looked around Lisbon for the afternoon. Besides getting the best room a...

I have given multiple 5 star reviews to this hotel, but for the first time this year things didn’t go as smoothly. Some new staff at reception are not very friendly, one lady in particular that seems to forget that it’s part of her job to make guests feel accommodated. Secondly, I left my laundry in the bag in front of the hotel door with the laundry document properly ...

I first booked this hotel for 2 nights only as I was not so sure about how convenient is its location. As that was my first time in Lisbon, I was thinking that staying around Chiado or Alfama would be better and more convenient to go out and explore the city, specially during the night. From what I experienced, however, I can say that it is very easy to move from AVAN...

the sofitel lisbon hotel is definately a 5 star hotel. the rooms were very big, with a generous sized bathroom. all amenities were included, including proper hairdryer, free wifi, bathrobes, slippers, complimentary water. the only downfall was that there was construction right outside our window everyday starting from about 9am. we complained to reception as we were ...

I arrived in Lisbon at 5:30 am without any sleep and Tivoli Oriente was an excellent choice to stay for my first night. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodated my request to store my luggage and check into my room a bit early as I needed sleep! Sophisticated and stylish, comfortable bed, excellent for business travelers, and a pool to swim in -- which ...

Booking the small room, I was a little concerned that it might be claustrophobic. It was a lovely space with all I needed. One thing that could have made the room perfect was a chair with a back so I could watch TV or sit at the desk comfortably without having to lie on the bed. Otherwise it was like coming home to family. But I did adore the assortment of chairs i...

This was a great location for our stay in Lisbon. The metro is less than a 2 minute walk. Plenty of sightseeing, shopping, dining are just a few minute walk away. The rooftop pool area is a great place to relax with a snack or drink. The rooms were clean, modern and fun. The best part of HF Fenix Music, however, is the staff. They were pleasant, helpful and wen...

Traveling to the unknown is like jumping into a pool, deep end first and hoping you float. My family trip to Lisbon felt the same way (we were 11). I did extensive research on quality hotels without knowing which area to select, relying on travel hotel websites and reading reviews. By sheer luck I selected the Tivoli which had a special room rate offer at the time (3...

The hotel was conveniently located, 5 mins walk to the metro. The room was spacious with a large table and spacious bath. The finishing was modern, with a lot of wood, like a more mellow and sphisticated Ikea. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great, with good breads, sumo and cakes and more. Great value for money. My hotel of choice when I next vi...
Cheap places to stay in Lisbon

I booked for a couple of nights, and extended for several others - at the end I didn't want to leave! Toilets are a bit of a squeeze, but for the rest, all very comfortable and clean and the staff is great!. Thank you Ana, Caio, Andre, Isabel, Emma, Emily, Laura, Claire and Rebecca for making me feel at home!!!

I booked the hostel very last minute and I was really to have a bed for my stay in Lisbon. The location is perfect (located in the train station, perfect if you are taking train to another destination later on). The room was nice, bathroom wasn’t crowded even though the whole level 1 is sharing one big bathroom. The staffs are amazing! I felt at home :) Thanks for bein...

Staff doesn't speak English and not friendly. Hostel not locked overnight. During my staing in hostel there was stolen i-phone from other guest and staff didn't apologized. And kitchen is closed from 11 pm till 8 am. It is stupid because some guests coming after 11 or check-out before 8 am

Arrived at the hostel to some friendly staff who showed us around and gave us maps of the city. Rooms were clean, spacious and our private bathroom was perfect. Had air con too which was useful. Hostel is located in the old railway offices so there were high ceilings and historic features which was a nice change from your usual Hostel. Facilities are fantastic. Rooftop...

I regret staying a little far from the main area, there are better and (probably) cheaper accomodation with higher ratings at barrio alto, i would recommend people to stay there instead of here so for location and value for money, these are 2 stars cleanliness is alright 3 star, not super, i've experienced cleaner hostels nice staffs but they are not sets for 24 hour...

Wonderfully located to get to all areas of Lisbon by bus tram or train. Nice clean rooms and bunks. Good shower facilities. Friendly staff always on hand to help and prepare breakfast. Nice patio to eat and relax in. Supermarket very near by. Cons. Just a little bit hard to find at first but trust Google maps and you'll be fine

I stayed in Lisbon many times in different places, but this one is one of my TOP 2. The views are amazing -right at the viewpoint of Bairro Alto. The indoor design is also impressive. It's clean, on each floor there are 3 bathrooms (f/m/general), so there is no queue whatsoever. Everything is clean and nice. They also have self-service washing (3,5 EUR ) and drying (...

Staff ( Santa ) extremely help full could not ask her more. made mistake with the booking Santa sort that out very well. also wanna to extend my stay but they were fully booked out. So Santa find me a different place to live. Place just ok not very impressive. Thanks

Location was the main reason I booked this Hostel. It is very near the metro station, a big plus when you are coming from the airport via metro. (you can actually see the building when you exit the station). Not too far also from the main tourist area and is walkable if you don't want to take the metro. Staff were also very friendly especially Marisa who will go out o...

This hostel is easy to find since it is located at main street and very close to metro station and makes it so comfortable to visit tourist destinations in Lisbon as well as go to airport. Also the hostel's bathroom is surprisingly clean. The staff is friendly too.

I received a room upgrade after being told my booking at Brown's Boutique was cancelled and they failed to notify me prior to check in. But they definitely made up for it at Brown's Central. The hotel located at Rossio, which is very convenient from and to Airport, within Lisbon and visiting Sintra (by train departing from Rossio Station. There is a supermarket Pinco Doce downstair. I can only think of 2 downsides: the hotel does not provide in-room tea pot so there is no hot water for a drink; the other is the tiny check-in area. It just occupies a cor...

even though it is located near the subway station, we couldn't find the hotel easily because we've got lost and people couldn't speak english. anyway, we found it has quite good proximity to travel attractions later. but it was quite freezing to us because they didn't have the heater for the travellers. in addition, we found they had the towels in the kitchen on the la...

Clean, modern hotel. We didn’t book breakfast so can’t comment on that, relatively small, there was no bar. We very much enjoyed our stay, the Lift Boutique Hotel is in an amazing location just steps away from the landmark Lisbon elavator. The staff were so friendly and helpful in assisting us in every way. The only thing I would recommend is not renting a car as parking is not available but also a car is not necessary given their location. The train station exit is not far ...

Fantastic location, just a few minutes away from Intendente station. Very kind Nepalese hosts who were chatty, pleasant, helpful. Spotless rooms and bathrooms, I was here for 4 nights with my boyfriend and it looked like a maid was constantly wandering into the bathrooms every few minutes to freshen up. Yes the walls are thin but I've read it's like that all over var...

A buffet breakfast but rather modest as variety is included in the price. The most convenient and cheap transport from Lisbon is by bus 161 (Areireiro metro station) €4.15 to the last bus stop in Costa Caparica, which is about 500 meters from the hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach and to the "center" of Costa Caparica. The room and all other about it is norma...

My stay in Room No. 13 (2nd Floor) Pros: - Spacious Well Maintained Bright Clean Rooms - Sufficient Well Maintained & Very Clean Bathrooms (never had to wait) - Very Friendly Smiling Staff - Kichen was well equipped for small meal cooking or heating in microwave. Enough plates, glasses & cutlery. - Bedsheets, duvet & bathtowel was fresh. - Great Location (more info bel...

Right on the famous pink street, close to transport and major touristic spot, nice neo-retro design, free coffee, so what could be wrong? Well not much, but still. The rooms are tiny, opening your luggage is not an option. And there is not much space to put any kind of items, like your next day clothes. To save on space they removed the toilet door, and to create more ...

Although a bit pricy and our room on the 5th floor (508) had a small window with a view of the roof tiles, this hotel is quite nice. It's ultra modern, sleek, clean and the beds are comfortable. Best of all, it's in an awesome location in the middle of a popular, high end shopping district and the metro entrance is about 30 steps away! (For under €2 pp and one train tr...

Hotel Avenida Park has a great location, close to the Parque and Sao Sabastiao Metro stops and the El Corte Ingles department store. It is not difficult to walk to the center of Lisbon. And it is closer to the airport than many other hotels. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean.

Tryp oriente is ideally located if you are flying out of Lisbon. It is right beside the main train station and 5 minutes drive from the airport. It is across the road from a large shopping centre and only a couple of minutes walk to the ocean. Very nice rooms, friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast for only €9.

This has now become our favourite hotel in Lisbon. We stayed here a year ago and decided to return because we couldn't fault anything with it. Location is fantastic - right at the top of Avenida Ave, in front of the metro station, easy to get to the airport (not that Lisbon is that big). Breakfast time - very entertaining! Always greeted with big smile by friendly guy ...

for a hotel at a very cheap price i hope to find a hotel like this in every place i travel. it is very central to the city and the transport is very adequate. very near to the airport and trtaffic is very reasonable even though it is in the centre. we staye in the 8th floor and the lift was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stayed in hotel zenith lisboa, it's near to all essential things-aerobus stop, metro and bus stop to tourist spots which are a few stops away. We arrived Lisbon late at night and Vinny was so gracious to welcome us from a very long tiring flight. Even upgrading our room to a suite after learning we are on a honeymoon trip. Overall the hotel was nice and...

We stayed at the CR7 in August 2017 and had a superior room on the first floor with a small balcony. The rooms do actually look like the pictures which is not always the case when booking a room. This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at with a perfect location, very stylish and clean and very nice staff. There is a small gym on the first floor which was empty throug...

As I said our stay was perfect. Marriott Lisbon has a very well trained staff and everything worked very well, very Marriott. I have to highlight the breakfast buffet and the waiters, they were just perfect. The food excellent and the service impeccable (probably one of the best ever from Marriott). The Executive lounge had delicious food (again, the best I have ever...

I picked this hotel because of its location. Clean, tidy and modern. Staff helped me to get wifi access as I had some difficulty. Good restaurant 200 m away and you can get croissant / coffee outside as well in the morning. Just a bit expensive but I guess you are in Lisbon....

Solar Dos Mouros was an absolute joy to stay in. The hotel itself is so charming set within Alfama the old district in Lisbon. It may be the old district but its alive and kicking with buzzing streets of culture and fun. The walk down into the port area was a joy as every turn could lead to a new sight/sound/smell of something magical. A great location. The hotel is ...

There is a sense of discovery and adventure as you approach the suspension bridge spanning the harbor at the docks near where the Tagus River meets the ocean. Almost at the water's edge and almost under the bridge nestles this quite slick and trendy hotel, with an air of hustle and bustle, yet in a quiet, secluded area, with its own papyrus and water gardens, that sti...

no negatives at all. the hotel is perfectly placed for historic lisbon, the staff are friendly and helpful and english-speaking. the room was excellent and the breakfast very good value. the price was very reasonable for the quality and service. i would have no reservations in recommending this as an ideal location and excellent base for tourists visitng lisbon.

Holiday Inn Continental Lisbon Hotel is located very near to the tourist places in Lisbon by bus or subways. It takes only a few minutes to walk from the hotel to the Metro station. The restaurant provides excellent (buffet) breakfast (which is good for money) and very good food in dinner time (the wines are good and not expensive). Nevertheless, as th hotle is located...

We love staying here, because the hotel offers a very modern chic design. Very nicely done and sleek. It has rooftop warm-water swimming pool, jacuzzi and a bar. It also has a gym. Room is spacious with very nice bathroom.shower area. Everything with the design is so well-thought off. Staffs are friendly and helpful too. Oh, and breakfast is super nice. Location mig...

The size of room is a little too small for 2. Especially the bathroom. Thankfully hotel is located at a quiet part of Lisbon which is easy to find parking space outside the hotel. However the distance to the city centre is not close enough to go by foot.

It's located center of Augusta street which is main street in Lisbon. The room is cute, clean and comfortable. I heard some noise from the next door but I didn't notice big noise from outside during night, even it's in main street. You can see the whole street from small balcomy which is very special. And staff was nice. We received warm welcome. The price was a bit ex...

The facilities there were a bit old. Hair dryer was down during the 1st day . Asked for repair but no respond on the 2nd day. Finally replaced with another on the 3 rd day. The room was a bit old, but the location was good, close to train station. Price was a little high and next time I go Lisbon will not choose this hotel again.

The hotel is located a bit far from city center, considering Lisbon is not that big, taxi fee from the hotel to downtown is about 5~6 EUR. The service is one of the best you may expect, lobby boy, receptionists, concierge, etc. are really helpful, restaurant is the best part, a large window and marble, wooden crafted decorating area, classic, foods are great, freshly s...

New hotel that was very clean, staff was friendly and spoke excellent English, and good location. Room was not ready at 2:00 pm, but when we returned at 4:00 pm, the staff upgraded us to a junior suite. We definitely will consider this hotel when we return to Lisbon.

I have never stayed at a hotel that has been so relaxing and comfortable. We booked here for our stay in Lisbon. The staff are excellent and there are plenty of them. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is fantastic. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The hotel pool is very tranquil and there is a terrace to sunbathe whilst watching the aeroplanes come pa...

The location is not that bad it quite a walk from the central. We stayed here for three nights. The stove and the hot water did not work for two nights so we had to shower with freezing water. The check in process here is antiquated. Old systems, no welcome drink on arrival. Good breakfast. Room service and bistro restaurant quality of food was abysmal and prices were a rip off. If it’s a reasonably priced room you get, they’ll get you when you pay for all the extras. Not impressed with the set up here. Not sure what management are thinking.

Real reviews for hotels
Lisbon makes for a very easy and pleasant short break - it's a very easy city to get around due to the small size and easy and cheap public transport.
Pastelerias and cafes on every corner. Eat the fish, especially the Bacalhau cod. Oriente area has new waterfront with a stadium, Vasko da Gama mall, cable cars, Trams in old town are great.
A great city worth visiting and spending some days. Go to the Lisbon downtown "Chiado" and "Rossio" and explore the site, pedestrian streets, restaurants, and coffee shops, monuments.
In addition to the sights within the city, it is worthwhile to visit the Moor castle in the outshirt of the city which is clourful and full of surprise for many objects to see.
I love city because you can see and feel so many things at once. From culture and history to modern. The sunshine, sea and mountains.
Excellent food, prices in general are very reasonable, compared to other European cities. Would love to visit this city again in the future!
lisbon is capital and lots of things to see and good for shopping as well. However, i personaly think that porto ( the second larger city), i think it is nicer and more organize and there are more historical building.
Lisbon is a vibrant, historical city, with many historical attractions, a vibrant restaurant culture, many interesting buildings, with an efficient metro, tram and railway service.
Recommend for those who want to visit Fatima for pilgrimage. Nice clean peaceful city but we found out some locals are not too friendly.
Lisbon is such a pleasant surprise after our visit to Madrid. People in Lisbon are friendlier and helpful.
