Where to stay in Liverpool
Liverpool hotels & accommodations

We got a small cozy room that is very comfortable to stay in. Room is very clean too. The hotel is very near to buses (as well as the central bus station), and train stations (Liverpool lime street station that connects Liverpool to other cities in England, and Liverpool James street station) that brings you to key tourist attractions in Liverpool. If your intention is...

This hotel is exceptional value for money. It is 2 min walk from Lime St station and in easy walking distance to all the major attractions. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Hotel bar is cheap and open late. Missed breakfast due to late nights. Very friendly staff. Only 2 star so no hairdryer. Have stayed in many Liverpool hotels and this one is better than many th...

If you go to Liverpool go first class but not first class prices this hotel apartments are great to stay in, right in the centre of Liverpool, a few minutes walk to all the main sights and within the best shopping experience I have ever seen. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and there is always someone on the desk 24/7. The apartment was great with everyth...

I am very, very happy with this hotel! Rebecca from the front desk was a darling! She has consistently been from check in to check out. The room was beautiful and amazing. Housekeeping did a good job at keeping the rooms clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the city center—it's close to the dock and the touristy sites, but still at a location that is quiet and not ...

Located a few minutes’ walk from Albert Dock and the major museums and a 10 minute walk to Liverpool One, for shopping, made it very easy to explore the city. Dinner in the restaurant was very good - decent sized portions, moderately priced and interesting menu. Breakfast, on one of the two days we stayed, was very busy at 9:30am and we had a few minutes’ wait for a ...

Heywood House Hotel is a good choice for people who want to stay in the City Centre of Liverpool rather than going West to the Docks. You couldn't really ask for a better location. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and well-known attractions e.g. the Cavern Club. Albert Docks is a short walk from the hotel. I had quite a big room in comparison to the price I ...

We have and continue to stay at a variety of Liverpool hotels. However we always know to expect and receive a good welcome, a clean, comfortable room. We have always found the breast selection and quality excellent and the staff wether on reception or in the breakfast room are always pleasant and helpful. We sometimes stay at Budget Liverpool hotels as the Liner isn'...

The Print Works Hotel was an excellent choice, on our behalf, It was very central, 5 minutes from the train station, very local, to good bars and restaurants. The hotel it’s self was very clean, the manager and her staff, could not do enough for you, they were all so friendly. If we god back to Liverpool, we would certainly stay there again, cannot recommend it highly ...

I booked Hope Street Hotel for my boyfriends 30th as we were going to a music concert at the Liverpool Academy and wanted to stay somewhere close enough to walk to the venue. We know Liverpool well as we live on the Wirral and we already knew that the area would be ideal for what we needed. From the outside the hotel is very understated and you could easily walk by w...

We just missed our train, supposedly it just a day trip from London to Liverpool. After we missed our train, we looking for a wifi to check any available hotel through Agoda. Since this is an emergency so we decided to stay at budget hotel which average at £50 per nights. What made us shock is this such beautiful hotel just cost us at £37 only or just Rm 200 per nights...

I stayed for 6 day, it was nice stay. This is actually a hostel. The place is near the city centre, and as Liverpool is a walkable city, the place located at the very central. The room was clean, a little small, but the private toilet was spacious. The wall was a bit thin, sometimes you can hear somebody laughing out loud from room next door. But luckily I my neig...

Room was great. Great choice for breakfast and because you could have breakfast up to 12 noon, you never felt rushed and it wasn't too busy. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into central Liverpool so just far enough out to avoid the hustle and bustle of a city centre. The only negative was that there wasn't a hotel car park. Would stay there again.

We have just returned from 2 nights at the Adagio Aparthotel & would thoroughly recommend. You are right in the middle of everything - shops, bars, restaurants and yet our room (239) was incredibly quiet - no noise at all! We were in a 1 bed apartment & the sofa bed converted into 2 single beds, so great for older teens or indeed adults. The apartment is compact but ...

This is by NO MEANS a 4 stars hotel. The equipment suffices only for a middle range 3 stars hotel. Taking into account that there is no restaurant, there are even less stars. I had booked a single Deluxe room, but struggled to find out what's so deluxe about this small simply equipped room in the attic with a window directing to the sky that I got. The photos on agoda ...

We had a 1 night stay for our trip, the cost was slightly higher as there was a big Liverpool game on that night. We had the 8 sleeper VIP room, basically a suite for us all, 8 bunk beds, 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms, a separate dressing area and lounge with sofa. Had we filled the room the cost would be £21.50 per person, so still a really good price. Rooms, bedroo...

this hotel is my best value of my journey. location is near shopping centre (liverpool one). i'm convenience to travel in liverpool city. room is perfect room. it comfortable for me. bathroom very nice and clean. bed is clean and comfort for me. font staffs are friendly and helpful. agoda is best rate to choose this hotel. perfect for hampton by hilton liverpool

This hotel has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, including its great location, within easy walking distance of all the best loved Riverside attractions in Liverpool, from The Beatles Story & Tate Gallery to Museum of Liverpool, with the Cavern district,. a bit further afield & all the shopping and eateries in the centre of town. Make sure you ask for a d...

Clean, tidy and modern room. Excellent shower! A little out of town but Albert Dock is 10 minutes and £6 in a cab. There is a couple of shops next to hotel where you can buy bits. I think for the money I paid it's worth it as a hotel in the city was £100 dearer per night. If your just after a room to sleep and shower then it will be fine if you want hotel luxuries ...

Walked through the door looking for the standard long reception counter. Instead was warmly welcomed by a super-friendly reception staff at a surprisingly tiny table. Nice twist to the regular reception desks. Rooms are nice and comfy. Huge beds. Even the bathroom amenities were lovely. (Slept so well!) Location-wise, everything you would need / want is just a few s...

Booked this last minute on Agoda for a layover in Liverpool. It was really easy to get to via bus (82A), and then a short walk from the bus stop. The staff was very helpful and nice. Even set out breakfast for us before the time because we were leaving early for the airport. Room had a fully renovated bathroom. I liked the light fixture in the room the best, and I'm se...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Liverpool Hotel makes a great base for shopping and nightlife the rooms are clean and shower and bed were great my only bugbear was no phone or internet signal in downstairs room apart from that a good cheap clean hotel base

We stayed for 2 nights, New Years Eve and New Years Day. We had a very basic room that was clean and had an enormous bed in it which was very comfortable. We didn't pay a silly price for our stay when you consider what other Liverpool hotels were charging for the New Year. I only have one criticism with our room and that was a lack of bedside table or even shelf. I...

I was pleasantly surprised by the Liverpool Inn Hotel. It was in the best location for us - across the road from one of the bus stops that the City Explorer tour bus uses and it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I needed to stay in central Liverpool, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

No cons really, only things I'd comment on is that its like a rabbit warren! A maze of corridors. I stayed in a basement room, compact but ample for me. Staff were really friendly and helpful. No car park, I parked right outside the hotel and as long as I moved my car before 8am it was ok. Pros are... clean, comfortable, friendly helpful staff. Central for bars rest...

I stayed here because I came to see Liverpool played and it's only a 3-minute walk distance to Anfield. Kitchen wasn't clean, the view outside my room was terrible, the staff was cheerful and helpful. The bar downstair is a great place to hang out after match.

Absolutely delightful. The staff are the friendliest people I have met in all my travels, and they are ever so willing to make your stay a comfortable and homely one. They know everything you could possibly want to know about Liverpool, and will do their best to cater for your every need. Very impressed and will most certainly be returning.

I was absolutely astonished when I seen what we got for £17 per night on the agoda site, the rooms were clean, there showers were amazing, there was always free tea and coffee free 24/7 & not cheap tea or coffee it was tetleys and nescafe. there was a dining area along with a microwave should u want to grab a bite to eat from the shop. The staff were always kind and pol...

35£ for me, partner and baby for one night for extra double room. room with double bed, tv and stairs on second floor where is extra place and toilet with shower. nice warm water in shower. minuses: - just 2 towels for 2 persons (other hotels are 4 towels for 2 person) - poor tea&coffe maker (4 coffees, 4 teas, 4 sugars) - for me and partner cold in room - micro...

I was very skeptical about coming here as the hotel was so cheap!! Please don’t let this put you off as I for one will certainly be booking here again. Fantastic location and the staff were so friendly and very helpful...the rooms are adequate and clean the only thing they didn’t have was iron in room and kettle but had all coffee Etc free in reception 😃... Enjoyed our stay - it was close to where we needed to be , nice comfortable bed . Upset that Agoda had not passed our request for a disabled / quiet room near to a lift . We got a normal double room because no disabled were available - at the front of hotel - overlooking very busy dual carriageway & at the far end of the corridor - luckily they provided a fan in the r...

First time using this hotel location walkable from train station both lime street and central. First impressions were good dropped bags off and went to the show we had booked . Came back to check in all still fine . We were in 407/410 rooms . Good size and clean bathroom nice and bright. Came back later on . Beds comfy and despite being at the front of hotel with or...

I stayed with my wife and two kids (5Y & 7Y) for one night during our vacation in Liverpool, staff performance and cooperation was very good, I have booked one family room but when I arrived I found they provided a double room instead, I called the staff service and they immediately provided an additional double room, it is a small issue but I feel good after they coop...

My only complaint was that WSP Recycling operated outside my bedroom window from 5.30-5.45am, waking me up with their manoeuvring and their truck’s reversing-beeping alarm and their general noise. Surely there are by-laws which prohibit companies like WSP Recycling operating so early in the morning? I could not get back to sleep after their racket.

It was a great experience in the hotel. Before I arrived, I called. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and guided me to the place. From the point of contacting Base to confirm booking, to checking in, checking out and spending 2 nights in the property everything was excellent ! Central to everything, clean and a great three bedroom apartment with each room an en-suite.. Would not think twice about booking again !

Door entry was difficult as didn't receive the email required. Message should have been sent previous day. Wasn't impressed with the plastic covered mattress - difficult to regulate temperature - I was either too hot or too cold. Reception on some of the TV channels kept breaking up. A guy who implied he was a staff member said I was using the wrong kitchen (for st...

Great stay at the Malmaison Liverpool, perfectly located for Albert Dock, Liverpool One shopping and a 10 minute walk to the M&S Arena for the Netball World Cup. Warm, friendly staff, spacious room and great vibe to the hotel. Highly recommended.

I returned after 12 years to attend an International Meeting at another hotel and as I thought,... their car park was not as secure as the one at the Crown Plaza. Although most of the Staff had moved on since my last visit , the new Staff were as friendly and cheery as they had been on any of my last visits , like most of the Liverpool Residents ...

The location is not as close as it seems if you walking there after traveling by train from London and end up in Lime-street Station. But Aloft will always be one of my choices to stay when traveling around the world for their service and branding. We recently stayed for just one night as we were watching the Liverpool FC match and this was the best properties remaining. Amazing value esp if you plan ahead. Great location right in the centre of Liverpool and close to everything. Staff are very helpful too. A really good option if you are looking for a budget hotel without sleeping in a dormitory. Would definitely recommend to friends

Booked this for friends seventieth birthday we had three flats. Myself and husband had a corner one which was enormous and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful. If we come back to Liverpool this is where we would stay. On our last day we had breakfast/brunch in the restaurant downstairs I’m really sorry that was the first time we were in ...

We stayed for just one night in June, 2014. We booked a room through Agoda(suites with king size bed). The room had a good size with bed, couch, table, kitchen facility, TV with lots of options. The free breakfast was more than UK standard. coffee has great quality and there are various juices in the fridge. You can use the room-key-secured carpark costing 12 pounds ...

We enjoyed our visit to this city which is undergoing a process of regeneration so there are parts that look very sad with empty shops and buildings.
The traffic one way system is very confusing, even with up to date satnav. Roads only open at certain times etc.
Found the locals freindly, plenty of buses to get around, able to walk aorund the city if your young enough, great shopping at Liverpool 1.
I really amazed with how beautiful liverpool city is lots of history buildings, lots of entertainments such a pubs, cafes, cocktail bars.
A vibrant city with lots of diverse cultures. Very friendly Lots of fab shopping & a wide variety of eating & drinking places.
Most people in Liverpool is kind and nice. You can find nice food, shopping in Liverpool. Everything is simple and nice.
Lovely town. History town. Many tourist attractions and museum to visit. Many history. Beatles, Liverpool FC, Everton FC, Liverpool Cathedral, etc.
It is a working class city that has many memorials and monuments that acknowledge the sacrifice and contributions of hard working blue collar workers.
Liverpool is not very big city.. you can just spend 2 nights and that more than enough ... its a must go to liverpool if you are beatlemania! the city of Beatles!
The city has a long cultural history, but you can still find a lot of big shopping centres here. Don't miss a chance to watch a match at the Liverpool FC.
Good mix of modern buildings (Liverpool One) and nice historical buildings in the city. The city can be explored easily on foot.
A good city with not too people around. There is a huge shopping centre at the city centre which provides various of shops.
There's an awful lot to see so take your walking shoes. Must see places are the Pier head and Albert Dock, the cavern quarter, both Cathedrals, the Philharmonic dining rooms, the museums and art galleries and if you take the ferry get off in Birkenhead and check out Hamilton square.
Wonderful city, Please visit Albert Docks and if you are the great fan of the Beatles please go and see the beatles story
it was kind of surprise to me, I didn't expect that Liverpool is so much to offer. still there are tradition in many ways, but many of shopping malls are there.
if you are lost, approach a local for help and they will be glad to help u! Liverpool locals are really a friendly bunch.
The city is quite small, but there is a lot going on. Plenty of bars resturants and there is a lot going on on the outskerts of the city.
Liverpool has a great history and is now quite modern, especially the area down at the Docks? Good shopping areas near there as well.
Fascinating city. The second largest cathedral in the world and of course the Cavern Club. Great malls and shopping.
Liverpool's got it all. It's a compact city with lots of history and great architecture. I would suggest visiting one of the pubs around the seven old streets like the Hole in the Wall or The Ship and the Mitre.
