"We stayed in the Savoy for 3 nights and although it wasn’t all terrible I would not recommend it. The reception and pool are look nice and up to standard but the hotel is opportunistic with their prices that are a little too steep (€5 euro for a coke where you pay €2 at most if you go anywhere else in the neighborhood or city). The rooms are dated and although they are maintained the cleaning crew could do a much better job. Also airconditioning wasn’t working properly and neighboring clubs and lounges can be heard until 05am if you are on the wrong side of the hotel which we where. Locations isn’t great, menara mall and park are close but you will need a 30-40 min walk or cab to get to other places. On leaving we where charged about €18 euro for taxes that where clearly included in the booking but we couldn’t get our credit card deposit released until we paid. All in all this is a big sized 3 star hotel that in its glory days maybe would have been a 4 or 5 star hotel. "
