Naples hotels & accommodations

Located on Piazza Garibaldi next to Naples Central railway station, Hotel B&B Napoli is just a short walk from the train and a perfect base for exploring the area. Our first room On the 5th floor was huge and cool looking with interesting wall murals and comfortable beds. When we asked if we could extend our stay, they told us to pack our bags before we left for some s...

AMAZING staff at the hotel. My husband and I were at a total loss when we left one of our bags in the cab after check out, when we were dropped off at the train station. The bag contained our passports amongst other things. You could imagine our panic! When we phoned the hotel, the staff who picked up immediately tried to calm us down and then she spent the next 30 min...

Had only 2D1N in Naples-a stopover for Amalfi tour. Very convenient location-just 1min walk to train station Napoli Centrale/Garibaldi (has soundproof windows-so no worries). Compared to all the other hotels in Naples, it is modern & not has no gaudy interiors. Breakfast was fantastic with local pastries for €12. It is also opposite a supermarket with wide variety of f...

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, however the official address makes it somewhat difficult to find if you’re traveling by car, as the Naples traffic is somewhat chaotic. If you use the address Largo Barsanti E. e Matteucci C. this will bring you to the entrance where the parking area is located, as the front entrance is...

Naples has got to be the most dirty city ever! We walked down the streets and felt very scared for our body pouches with our money inside. Random people will come really close to you. Naples is a beautiful city, if you can ignore the mess. We loved the bustle and history of the city, as well as being the gateway to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The hotel itself was a ...

This trip to Italy was first time for my husband and me. I heard about bad things about Naples such as it was not a safe place and dirty town. However, around this hotel , it was beautiful!! I think that this place is the safest place in Naples. You can walk outside even though it is night time. There are many restaurant around the hotel. It is close from a port. Ther...

Beyond our expectations - this hotel was wonderful! From the moment we entered we felt pampered and welcome. A big relief to see our room was modern, clean, spacious, quiet and luxurious. The staff made every effort to pamper us with excellent service. They all spoke English very well. Enzo (who ran the front desk) was the most helpful guide, giving us advice on local ...

Last year we stayed at the NHAmbassador in Genoa and were very impressed. This year we stayed in Naples Nh Ambassador and were very happy with our choice.on arrival we were offered a upgrade for an extra €15.we accepted and were given a room on the 28 th floor.it was a big room with a well equiped modern bathroom.our bed was very comfortable.the air conditioning was not...

very cute little hotel in the centre of naples. The hotel itself was really cute, the breakfast really great, staff couldn't do enough. their recommendation for lunch was superb, even saw the same staff member having lunch there. the grand gallery in which it sits is in need of repair (like the rest of naples, the roof was leaking everywhere) but this is not the hotel'...

For this price it was very good, rooms were clean, the ac working. Breakfast consisted mostly of sweet croisants and great coffee. Personel was helpful and nice, almost everybody talks in English. Great place if you want to explore Naples and its surroundings.

Very convenient location. I arrived late at Naples and needed an acomodation near the Stazione Napoli Centrale and in fact it is really near, like one or two blocks from it. The neighborhood might look a bit scary for some (but nothing happened, just first impression). The room was clean, the price was good and the reception worked until late night -- something hard to...

Stayed here for 3 nights on my recent trip to Naples and have a very mixed feelings about reviewing this hotel. Most of my bad experiences can be put to bad luck but i'll still state them here. 1) Booked 'Room' through Agoda and was given twin bed room where beds were aligned to wall rather than next to each other (room 176). My frd booked the same room and was give...

If you go to Naples by boat, that is the choice because tje hotel is within minutes walk to the port. (Or just take the Alibus from the airport, only €5. ) It is close to the metro too, so it is convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

1. This can be considered as affordable hotel. Very basic facilities. Room is okay, tiles flooring, windows can be opened to get fresh air ventilation considering there's no air-conditioned during winter season. 2. Perfectly located near the Stazione di Napoli Centrale, there's a direct walkway to enter the hotel from the railway station. Few convenient stores at the s...

Have stayed in the Europeo on many occasions. It is ideally situated for all the wonders of Naples Historid Centre. The small bar/pizzeria uphhill (100 mtrs) serves good pizza at reasonable prices. Downhill is a Carrefour grocery shop for essentials. Nearby on Piazza Gesu is the stop for the hop-on hop-off tourist bus. The hotel can be difficult to find. Look for Astra...

Clean rooms in centrally located hotel, one of the best value stays we have had in Italy. Considered by some to be in a dodgy part of Naples but we did not find it so. 5mins from all transport both locally and nationally. Could not be bettered. Also great breakfast -very filling and free for children. ...

It is a lovely place and only a short walk to some interesting places and areas. Not far from the metro. The staff were really helpful. I did have trouble finding the place. Don't pay attention to the numbers on the walls. It's one of the first doors off the main road. Check the intercom for the number and name.

We booked this hotel specifically to be close to the airport as our flight departed at 6 AM. The hotel arranged our shuttle to depart at 4:30 AM and it cost 25 euros. We were also able to go into Naples during the day by taking the public bus which is right down the street from the hotel. You can take the T31, T32 or T33 buses into the city which all stop at the centra...

This was a great introduction to Naples and we were warmly welcomed by the managers. Our room was clean, well equipped and had an amazing terrace - well worth the extra money! The Church are incredibly honest and clear in an email that is sent straight after booking which describes how you will have to walk up three flights of stairs. We read lots of reviews which se...

This was our serving visit to this hotel and it was even better than we remembered. It's a great location to explore Naples, a short taxi ride to and from the airport (fixed price if you all for it, 22.50 euros). 5 minutes walk into the historic centre of Naples, an easy stroll to the harbour and lots of great places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is clean with good ...

We recently stayed Sept 2018. All the staff were amazing. The location is only 700m from the train station. The terrace on 6th floor is like an oasis from the hustle and bustle on the streets just outside. The plunge pool is a dipping your feet option however, does the job when sunbaking, plenty of sun beds. The room we booked unfortunately the aircon was broken an...

stayed three nights with my family and parents. We had two rooms. the B & B is in an older section of naples with a lot of interesting neighbors (immigrants) it is a safe area though and easy to navigate to a lot of the historical sights and popular areas. Easy walk to the water and museums. The owners took great care of us and gave us personal interest and advice ...
Cheap places to stay in Naples

It is the most welcoming hostel I've been to. It's very clean and new, and a great atmosphere with really nice and interesting guests. It's a family-run hostel: Alessandro (the owner), and often his mom, cook an authentic Italian dinner every night and his dad makes delicious homemade wine. His dad also offers a tour of Pompei and Vesuvio by car for a good price, which...

The hostel was fantastic. Location is vvvveeeerrrryyyy good and it takes 3min to the station. and the step was really good and they help me to make a reservation to he Ischia ferry. and she solved the problem also. and room was very clean, there are many shower booth and W.C If I go naples again, I will not hesitate to visit again.😍

1. Location 5 minutes from train station 2. Good Breakfast sufficient for morning use 3. Room was clean and quiet with air conditioning 4. Kind and knowledgeable owner who can recommend places to go in Naples and out of Naples 5. Value for money and price comparable to other B&Bs.

Very convenient location. I arrived late at Naples and needed an acomodation near the Stazione Napoli Centrale and in fact it is really near, like one or two blocks from it. We are currently staying in the hotel and tonight is our last night in Naples. We only have positive things to say about this hotel. 1)Walking distance from Garibaldi train station. 2) Has a lot of cheap pop up markets (just watch out for your things) 3) A lot of delicious and affordable food (there is an Indian restaurant opposite the street with the best briyani an...

For this price it was very good, rooms were clean, the ac working. Breakfast consisted mostly of sweet croisants and great coffee. Personel was helpful and nice, almost everybody talks in English. Great place if you want to explore Naples and its surroundings.

The hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the train station. Very convenient location, but Naples is pretty ghetto/scary. We only stayed here one night. The room was pretty big and had a private bathroom. There was free wi-fi, but we couldn't get it to work. It wasn't the nicest hotel, but it was convenient and cheap.

Though the room was small , the lighting was perfect . The bed was thick and comfortable to sleep on but the heating system in the room not working and it was cold at night . After 12 days in Italy , this is the first hotel with BBC news . There were shops and restorants nearby for you to get your daily needs .

Nice location very close to Piazza Dante. The room is big and clean, the bathroom new. It's on the ground floor directly on the street, so you hear the noises of the street (but it didn't prevent me to sleep). The breakfast included (a coffee and a pastry) is taken in a café on beautiful Piazza Dante, which is nice. Domenico was very attentive and friendly.

Napoli Retro is a bit of a misnomer as this place is authentic. It has the original decor from some point in the past and you feel like you’re kind of living like a local and you see what’s behind all those net curtains in these towering apartment blocks that make up Napoli. Great people as well and the breakfast was good. I would recommend Napoli Retro.

I like this place really close from Central station of Naples. The staff really nice. Room quite big. Just little bit hard to find when you get off from airport bus. Maybe they should write they behind a restaurant. But if u get out from station it's easily notice the name in building.

Very close to the airport , very kind staff. The WiFi did not work and I just gave up. The bed sheet had woman's hair all o vet and didn't look very clean I slept between 2 bath towels .the room reek of smoke. No coffe .complimentary and it didn't open until 6 in the morning . I would suggest a coffee maker in the lobby for those the do get up earlier. Wouldn't stay ...

We are a group of 5 people. We spent some time to find the place and found out that it's close to every tourist spot we want to go. You can walk to every famous pizzeria in 5 minutes. We walked to the Museum and even the harbor to Capri for about 20 minutes. The landlord is warm and nice lady. Even though we can't speak Italian, she tried hard to explain everything to u...

it has private bathroom and toilet which is difficult to be found in other similar price accommodation. Has warm water. provide towers and breakfast which has a vup of latte, mango juice and creamy croissan one each dilibering to the doorstep. has local TV chennel, ot has air conditional as well. Yhe location is situated to very confortable to access to the main tra...

It took us a while to find the hotel as there was no big sign / name visible from the street. We never thought that the hotel was one of the flats in an old residential building. Almost freaked out when saw the entrance as the area looked like a slum. There was no elevator. But once stepped inside, the feeling was very good. It was neat & tidy. The staff was kind ...

We chanced upon this hotel online, and was apprehensive about staying there initially because of location. However, was pleasantly pleased to know that the metro is just 10min walk away from the hotel, and 3-4 stops away from Naples city Bcenter. Best of all, the hotel provides free parking in its private garage, although it's quite difficult to manoeuvre the car in th...

The room was fine with all the essentials including a/c, private bathroom, etc. Finding the street entrance among the grubby surroundings was a small challenge. It’s next to the “México “ coffee shop with a small (roughly 1 Ft square) sign among several others next to the entry. To reach it start at the Burger King in the Centrale train station, cross the stree...

We needed one night’s accommodation in Naples, and this place was perfect. Nice clean, renovated room and bathroom, while only a short walk to the historic Naples attractions and restaurants. Cafe downstairs make absolutely beautiful espressos and pastries were perfect too - all included in the tariffs.

The location of the bnb is very good, 5 min walk to the train station. The host familly is soooo nice! They offered us basically everything we needed and gave us many useful recommendations. The only disadvantage may be the lack of the heater. But there is an air conditioner in the room. 5 star recommendation!

This is a great hotel to choose in Naples. The hotel itself is very modern and comfortable. Rooms are large with comfy beds and spotless bathrooms. The hotel has a plunge pool and jacuzzi on the roof which doesn't offer the most amazing views (Naples isn't really that pretty) but still a lovely place to sit and sunbathe. Breakfast was great which lots of options and th...

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location seemed a little sketchy at first (as did all of Naples I guess), but we never really felt unsafe as we came and went at various hours. I would recommend it as a good value in a convenient location. My only issue is the bed in my room was really hard and bothered my back.

We have stayed at this hotel on our previous trip from Australia to Naples. It offers good value for money. Breakfast is fantastic - western breakfast with some Neapolitan treats included. Good hotel if you have a car as parking is available. Shuttle service to the city centre which is very important in this crazy busy town.

We spent two nights here. The hotel is reasonably good location if you travelling by train. We took taxi from the airport but when leaving Naples, we were able to walk to the closed by train station to move on to the next city, about 20 mins walk. We also took a train on one of the days to Pasitano, again by foot to the station. Walking distance to main tourist areas a...

me and my wife arrived on 1AM and imidiatly thay know its us. they took our passports and told us we can go to our room without waste our time with documents. very polite staff who allwayts try to help. in spite of the above there are few things who needed to be improved - the place is inside a commercial building therefore they need to add another person who will he...

We visited Naples on vacation and absolutely loved staying at Taggarb! Our room was really comfortable and clean and we loved all the natural light. Daniele was super nice and accommodating and of...

Great location for historical area. Comfortable and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Room tidied twice a day. . Wi-Fi not great but did get there in the end. Slightly difficult to find as taxi dropped off at the piazza - lots of people on th...

The entrance looked a bit dicey but inside it was nice and clean. The room was good with all the basics in place. The girls who run the place are very helpful. There’s a good basic breakfast and. Snacks available for free. What more can you ask for at a b&b 👍

At 10 p.m. of the day before my arrival, the property asked for a mandatory deposit of 1000 €, despite the fact that the reservation did not mention any kind of deposit. First they asked to pay it in cash to a third person, at the end I paid by credit card and they forced me to communicate the number of my credit card by phone. As a consequence, I will take legal actio...

What a fantastic 5 star hotel - it overlooks the Naples Ferry Terminal and is in a great location. The included breakfast was excellent & the dining experience is also worth a mention -the Dining room is on the 10th floor so the night time views over the Ferry Terminal are fantastic. Also have a drink or light snack overlooking the pool which is on the 9th floor.

I do not have a good impression to this city, the street is very smelly, dirty, full of rubbish, many flies and many black man around the street.
Naples is a good base for exploring Pompei, Capri and Sorento. It also has plenty of amazing sites: castles, palace, National Museum, convents, beautiful churches, catacombs and more.
Big, crowded, smelly, poor, noisy, run down, but nevertheless also a city with very interesting chapels, palaces, churches, good food, the vesuvius and pompeii nearby.
Try to spare a day to visit Napoli when you are in Italy. You can see real Italian life there - kids playing footballs, groceries in old towns, etc.
Naples itself is messy and noisy, although that creates its own character from the rest of the Italian cities.
Naples is in need of a good clean up. Graffiti and rubbish in the streets is objectionable. Many buildings are in an advanced state of disrepair.
Capri, Amalfi and Pompeii is a must, the subway system in Naples is quite new and modern, the people are friendly and very laid-back.
A great city to explore during daytime. Also it is a great start-off city to explore sorrento, positano etc.
Naples is tired and down at the heels. It is not a particularly safe city to stay in. It is ugly with much graffiti everywhere and there is no pride in the city.
Nothing much around Naples compared to cities further up north. Generally the city looks dark and old.
Naples was the filthiest city I have ever been in in Europe. Garbage everywhere, graffiti on everything and dog poo covering the streets.
Naples is for pizza - margarita or marinara and to visit the national museum. One night is all you need.
Easy to access the islands by ferry or tourists spots by train. Great sunshine. But it's relatively dangerous compared to other cities in Italy.
Definitely not a place to bring young children. It is messy, noisy, smelly, beautiful, ragged and wonderful.
There is apparently very little trash collection, as the streets are strewn with rubbish and used diapers.
Naples is very dirty and very dangerous. Numerous locals stopped me and told me to hide my camera otherwise my throat would be cut.
Naples generally feels unsafe. The taxi driver tried to ask for a higher rate. Generally you have to be careful in this city because a lot of immigrants and pickpocket types exist
very very dirty.so much litter and garbage everywhere on streets.you sometimes think you are in a third world country.
Naples is the city that everyone thinks of as being ItalRome,Turin seem rather dull and clean after Naples.
I walk around station area to bay area. I saw many immigrants(illegal?),dusts, cars, homelesses, big rats, drunkers etc.
Naples.. was not so inviting, but should be considered a stepping stone for the Amalfi coast, and also Pompeii + Mt Vesuvius
