"Clean rooms, ok bed and linen, but pillows were not comfortable. Food was decent and service was very good. Oceanfront location is great but the view is not so as the waters are murky colored due to the convergence of the river into the ocean. All in all, it is still the best place to stay in Sao Luis. "

"Apart from the great location, at the beach front and close to bars and restaurants, nothing else to praise. The hotel is overly rated as a four-star. The bedroom and bathroom, were not well appointed at all (very basic furniture, linnen, towels, etc.). Reception desk service was quite ordinary. We had to ask for room keys that would work several times until one receptionist asked what was the period of our stay and gave us a key that would not expire until then (LOL). The wifi hardly ever worked properly and cockroaches visited our bathroom every night. Not a good experience."
