Traveling to Vietnam? Find Tuy Hòa (Phú Yên) hotels

Excellent. Had to work the whole time I was in Tuy Hoa bit staff great, room great although not much hot water (not that this bothers me in the summer), very good food for a hotel including local dishes (tuna was great), reasonable wine list and not too over-priced, excellent fresh fruit drinks (especially pineapple), great breakfast (I don't like buffets and breakfast here is really good), great swimming pool and excellent jogging along the river bank in the shade BUT it was the staff that were the best thing about this hotel.

Tuy Hoa, which is 100 kilometers north from famous Nha Trang city, is a peaceful city in Phu Yen with quite beautiful blue sea and smooth sand beach. Really worth visiting here! Sala Tuy Hoa hotel is a little small but has a beautiful swimming pool right at the beach. The restaurant provides us good food at a reasonable price. They also offer live music at their pool bar every Saturday evening. Highly recommended!

We are American ex-pats living and working temporarily in Tuy Hoa. What a delight to find the Vietstar Resort. It is lovely with every amenity you could desire. Our Suite Room was exquisite; the bathroom was an added bonus with the rock faced open air shower and soaking tub. The spa, restaurant and pool area are all 1st rate with a gracious staff. Seaside Tuy Hoa is only a short flight (1 hour +) from HCMC. Don't miss the opportunity to be a guest at the Vietstar Resort. The beaches in this area are spectacular and you may find that the only footprints are yours.

Very long beach that is clean by south-asian standards. Clean water and sand. The bungalow is simple but the location is marvelous. Lovely hammocks to lounge in. For culture and nature, you need to be exploratory because there is NO tourist infrastructure there, but if you are adventurous you can find plenty of lovely things, like a lovely sand dunes hike and delicious local food and amazing vistas, interesting (although dirty) fishing villages, and rural culture. For Food, Try Tina cafe and the 'Banh Xeo' place behind Timothes. Phu Yen food is some of the best in Vietnam!!!

Its a good place to stay in this non touristy town. The local people are really inquisitive of tourists but very friendly & helpful (as ever in Vietnam!). The only down-side to the hotel was breakfast ...if you eat local/noodle/rice its gonna be good but they couldn't cook eggs if their life depended on it - rather funny at the time. The staff are very helpful - maps, advice & will arrange transport but keep it to taxis as their on-cost for train/long distance is not worth it. I broke our TV by messing with the settings they tried to fix it but couldn't so just changed rooms - that was good of them! The beach is really nice & quiet. Local eateries on the waterfront/harbour (not beachside) are very good & very cheap. We tried Bob's American too but it was VERY disappointing. You really can't grumble at the price ...ps there's a large hotel just up the road (on same side near crossroads) with a pool.

Booked the quadruple room for the price of 16$/night (tax inclusive). The price was reasonable with everything provided. The owner was super nice, i got her help to buy some local souvenirs and seafood. However, there were still some cons: 1. The bathroom was spacious, however, there was no wall to separate between the shower and the other parts, which will make water comes everywhere on the bathroom floor. Suggestion, just put some glass walls for the shower. 2. The hotel should provide the tourist map, which will help us to figure out what to do, where to go in Tuy Hoa. However, overall this is a really nice hotel with decent prices, definitely will come back next time.

The price is quite good, but the facilities of the room needed to think again I booked 2 rooms with 2 nights here. An air-conditioner in my room wasn't cool while friend's room had rove beetle. Additionally, the window in my room is opposite with a bed, that a reason why I couldn't sleep after sunrise, and the time of sunrise at here is earlier the other places of Vietnam. The hotel is located in outside of central Tuy Hoa city and opposite grasslands or fields. If you want to choose an area in which have night market or pubs ...,thus this place is not suitable for you.

Que Toi Village is indeed the perfect stopover in little known Song Cau situated just 40 minutes south of Qui Nohn. Photos presented of the newly completed Resort dont do it justice - its better, much better. Architectural rooms and gardens are new and fresh with Staff keeping it looking brand new. The huge infinity pool and deck look out over the Bay with fishing boats putting around in the background. These boats provide the freshest seafood we enjoyed anywhere throughout Vietnam. Crabs, shrimp, prawns , lobsters, snails, shellfish, squid and many fish cooked to local recipes are heaven. Manager Diep was brilliant organising day trips and taxis and recommended the best restaurants and coffee joints in town. Even gave us the Local menu names to order our meals. Yes it is on the Highway but noise was soon forgotten and the advantage of a Bus Stop near Reception was priceless. Stay one day or seven like us - you wont be disappointed.

First impression on the decoration that the owner has put into, really lovely and cosy as it's your own room. There are few things that need to considered before booking: 1. There is a bar behind the house which is closed around 12-1 AM and therefore causes on you difficult to fall asleep. Even though, I was really exhausted after approximately 150KM travelling throughout the day. 2. The bed is hard as well, not comfortable especially after you finished your long trip and just wanted to sleep as you wish.

My experience at Kaya Hotel was really pleasant! The location was easy to reach as it was on one of the main biggest roads in Tuy Hoa. Though it was not really at the center of the city but you can easily walk/go by taxi to both the city centre and the beach, coz Tuy Hoa is a small city anyway. The facilities were not all new but in pretty good condition. The staff were caring, super friendly and helpful, offering us help whenever we need, allowing early check-in when we arrived earlier coz of the flight time change. Espcially when we already checked out and went to the airport but forgot our stuff their, they kindly helped sending it to us! I had an enjoyable trip thanks to Kaya and Phu Yen people! P.s. I really like the smoothies from the cafe at the opposite of Kaya (On Dien Bien Phu side) - cheap price but great quality kk

Although resort is far from Tuy Hoa city, we really enjoyed to stay there. Facilities are well maintenance. Villa is private & clean. Villa pool is also very good. Beach is beautiful, private & very clean. Foods are delicious & well served at villa. Breakfast is really good. Staffs are friendly and well trained, especially butler service. We will come back soon!

This hotel has large rooms but it is a bit of a soulless place in a rather soulless town. It does not help that EVERY bedroom window in EVERY bedroom is blanked out with white paint or white film ! You cannot see out and there is therefore ZERO natural light. My room had four windows and only one actually opened. The other three were screwed shit - weird ! Breakfast was OK but there is secure safe parking for motor bikes, if that is how you arrive. A perfectly acceptable and certainly cheap place to stay for one night only but depressing for more than one night. Andrew Bruce, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland, U.K.

A New beach resort - the only one in Tuy Hoa City, close to everything. With very nice and fresh villa, new finished, much better than old luxury hotel. The most beautiful private beach, quiet, nature and private, only for the resort guests, you do not meet or be disturb by any outside. Friendly staff, we got free update to family villa. New, fresh restaurant and good food, service only for resort´s guests and very good price. It very convenient for relaxing, family, business trips, long term stay... You can rent bicycle or motor bicycle to go around

This is more of a homestay. You we were on the top floor and had access to get bathrooms. The linens were changed when we got there. Location is a hair far from the heart of the town, but for daytime activities like the beach, it's in a good area. The family running the homestay is extremely sweet and kind. If you're coming g home late at night, just call the number posted on the outside and they'll let you in. No issues with bugs or anything. Towels provided. The family also runs a little store downstairs for you to grab some convenience items. There was no language barrier with the daughter, Vu, whose English is excellent.
