"Our family lives in Myanmar so we are used to the standards here which are normally not very good. This place was EXCELLENT value for money for here. It is NOT the place to stay if you want to go downtown, but if you want to be in this area, near airport, and the natural environment it is really nice. The breakfast buffet had 3 types of cereal, (chocolate as well which my kids LOVED,) 2 types of coffee machines, (1 that ground and then brewed, WONDERFUL,) as well as fruits, cereals, curries and congee. The pool was very nice, there is no place to change or shower near the pool but oh well. They do allow smoking and the rooms reak of cigarettes, that's the only thing that wasn't too nice but the outside is truly beautiful. Our family lives in Yangon and will come again for the pool and breakfast. (be aware there are KTV on site so maybe some inappropriate goings on."

"We spent two nights here at the end of a ten-day holiday in Myanmar and loved it. The location is perfect, near the National Museum and Shwedagon Pagoda (though not quite walking distance unless you are very fit; then again, Yangon is a city of 5 million people, so distances are long. However, our random sampling showed that c.30-40% of cars were taxis, so not problem there). The staff were exceptionally helpful, actually steering us away from one or two things we enquired about. They have good maps and guides available (free), the WiFi was good, both in the room and reception, and the room itself was good (the shower was exceptional: great temperature and very high pressure if you wanted). Possibly most amazing of all, there is a 24-hour supermarket next door which can be accessed through a door in the hotel lobby! The breakfast was fine though some dishes were not quite to our taste. However, they do the usual basic eggs and sausage or toast if you are not in a mood to experiment with Myanmar cuisine at that hour (coffee was good). At $50 per night, it was the most expensive place we stayed in in Myanmar but that is good value for Yangon, especially given the location. "

"What attracted me to the place at the beginning was their collection of artworks from local artists! I love art galleries and my visit to Pansodan gallery in Yangon obviously only further piqued my interest. Then their European style accommodation area was also stunning as well! And they look exactly the same with the photos! Their rooms look a bit small from the outside but were actually spacious when you get into it. Our Superior Room had a living section with a sofa and a TV, then twin beds and 1 huge bathroom with a bathtub! It was heaven! Their menu has a bit for every cuisine and on top of a very affordable price, was delicious and fulfiling too! It's a great change to have dishes that weren't so heavily seasoned as our attempt with Myanmar curry-heavy dishes didn't do our stomach very well. The staffs were very promptly helpful too. Whenever we had a request, they would deliver/come to us shortly, either via phone or in person. And the airport is only within 10 mins walk too!"
