New Hotel, Huge Rooms, Friendly Staffs”
First, don't get confuse. There are 2 Clovers in Yangon. 1st is Clover Hotel and 2nd is Clover Suites. Both are located in Bahan area. Good Things about Clover Suites: 1. It is NEW! 2. There's a roof top pool and a gym which has a nice view of Schwedagon Pagoda. 3. Cheap and good food in restaurant located at level 5 (suitable for Asians - around 1,500 to 3,500 kyat or $1-$3 USD). They're selling local beer (Myanmar Beer) and Tiger Beer for only 2,500 Kyat (around $2 USD). They have wine as well for 18,000 kyat (around $14 USD per bottle) 4. Clean and Huge Rooms. Complimentary items are water bottle, 3in1 coffee, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, body foam wash and a hair cap. Rooms have safe box, blower, water heater and 2 type of shower but no tub. They're using Plug Type G power sockets. TV channel also has a lot to choose from. 5. Staffs can speak English! You just have to consider and understand their accent. They are all very friendly as well and they will try their best to communicate. 6. Around 15 mins walk to Schwedagon Pagoda. 7. Great Wifi service. It was fast! Bad Things about Clover Suites: 1. Doors of the hotel are not anti-sound proof so you can hear the loud noises from the hallway which is quiet annoying. 2. There no other restaurants or any conviniece store nearby. You have to walk around 15 mins just to reach the nearest store.

Excellent”
As many have already noted, the staff here are amazing and the hotel is very well kept. Seriously, you won't lift a finger or open a door during your stay! They had some wi-fi issues when I first arrived, but once they fixed it, it was super fast and reliable. I was able to stream Netflix on my laptop in HD no problems.. The location is quite central (just northwest area of Kandawgyi Lake, short walk to Shwedagon Pagoda, near the Japanese Embassy). Being off a small lane means it's quiet, and there are a handful of restaurants within walking distance. Both Uber and Grab Taxi work very well in Yangon now, so no worries about hiring a taxi and the hotel is actually very easy to find as it's just off a road that most taxis know already (Win Gabar Lane). Bear in mind that it is a hotel and serviced apartment. The basic rooms are just that - really basic. A bed, small area to hang and store clothes and the restroom. There's no proper sitting area, although there is one plastic/rattan chair under the makeshift "desk." And sadly - all these basic rooms are on the ground floor (little privacy if you like to open the window or lift the blinds) - upper floors are reserved the apartments. You can also book the apartments on Agoda - so you either get the bare bones room, or an apartment with small kitchen, washer/dryer etc... There is a nice pool on the roof. They also have a "Jacuzzi" attached to the pool, but the water is the same water used in the pool (so it's not warm). Take care with the deck and black tile around the pool - they are VERY slippery. I almost fell a few times and I saw one guest totally slip and fall. There are some lounge chairs and a few table and chairs - grab a beer at the restaurant and sit and chill on the roof if it's not too hot. You can see Shwedagon Pagoda from one corner of the roof (although it's partly blocked by a building). There's also a gym with basic cardio and Life Fitness machines. The restaurant is decent. Some Myanmar food, Asia

Newbie suite room with nice rooftop view of Yangon”
Only 1 night stay, nothing much to complain. Location is a bit confuse at first time and seems many taxi drivers don't know this place much but anyway, this place is close to Japan, Germany Embassy and some international business hub. Might suit for business traveler i guess. 1.5 Kilometres to Shwedagon Pagoda and just a few footsteps to face the beautiful Kandawgyi Lake. Not much restaurants or convenient store founded, just a little grocery stall at opposite site of this hotel. Good breakfast but would be great if there has more choices. Nice view at 5th floor rooftop for Shwedagon Pagoda with landscape plus the premium gym equipment and relaxed swimming pool. Room is functional and very clean, comfy bed and pillow also :) Staffs are very attentive and willing to help you anything you need. Overall of my stay is quite impress and will recommend to my companies especially business purpose traveler.

Good value in Yangon”
Yangon is still emerging in the tourist service business and this hotel is definitely stepping up to meet the challenge. Some little things are a bit unusual to a regular traveller, but the hotel does a very good job and is good value for money in Yangon. Its a little out of the way but taxi is relatively cheap so not a problem. This hotel is a classic example of the contrasts in Yangon between good value and not good value. Some places , hotels and eateries are very expensive and not value, this place is the former, its good value. I would stay again.

Value for money hotel at the great location ”
This is a Value for money hotel at the great location. It is quite close to Shwedagon pagoda. They have a swimming pool at 5th floor and you can see a nice view of Shwedagon pagoda. Staffs are friendly and willing to help. Improvements are done when pointed out. Such as, house keeping girls speak loudly and we commented about this to reception. No more loud talking for our remaining stay. Fantastic!!! They even extend our check out time until 2pm for free of charge as I was sick. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to visit Yangon.

Exceptional”
I stayed her twice during my trip to Myanmar - when I first arrived and again before I left. The wifi is ok, not great (but that is the case for most of my trip). The breakfast was ok but the spread is limited compared to other higher tourist areas. The bed and pillows are comfortable. There is hot water to shower. The rooftop pool is the highlight. Great to lounge in or in one of the chairs nearby. The location allows to walk to Shwedagon Pagoda along with a few others close by. It’s approx 2400kt ($2USD) to take a taxi downtown. Two days is all you need to have some time to enjoy the pool while seeing the highlights of Yangon. I like that they gave two 1litre bottles of water (more than other hotels)

First time in Yangon; great hotel; pretty good location”
Not knowing much about Yangon, it was hard to know exactly where to stay. This hotel is down a couple of alleys from the main road and so it's pretty quiet. The staff was phenomenal. Super helpful with everything, super informative, and just all around very friendly. The hotel is extremely convenient to the park and the Shwedagon Pagoda (something you'll likely want to see), but it can take some time to get in and out of the area in a taxi/uber just because the main road the substreets connect to is incredibly busy. Not their fault, but a reality of the location. The breakfast was okay. I enjoyed eating it every day, but honestly would have preferred a little more selection.

Nice”
We spent just one night here as it was our last night in Yangon; we could check in a bit earlier, the room was ready nice and clean, the pool is a huge pleasure in the hot weather. The staff is really nice, kind , helpful and polite ; we got a great service! I would recommend to make a bigger selection on the beverages and during breakfast time top up the food more often. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It is what it is”
We were slightly disappointed with the hotel, but some of that is our own fault. The room was small (Clover "Suites"), but it was as advertised at 25sq.mt. The photos were slightly misleading, as the laundry and kitchenette are in a shared facility, not en suite. Another shortcoming is that the bar closes at 10pm (but then, by 10 we might be the only people there). But the staff are charming and very helpful, the hotel is clean, and they were kind enough to upgrade our friend's room so she would be near to us.

Nice stay”
The hotel is at a quiet street.Close to the Shwe Dagon Pagoda, Kan Daw Gyi Lake and Bogyoke Aung San Museum (if you walk from the hotel, you will walk past their local market). Going to Chinatown with cab will cost 3,ooo kyat (normally). But coming back, some will ask for 5,00 kyat (move on to find another driver, there are a lot of them around). The staffs are friendly and helpful and breakfast is fine. I like the swimming pool and gym. Overall, I will recommend this hotel. .

Nice cosy hotel with pool and gym”
The location is near Aung San museum and a few pagodas. It's near the lake as well, however there are not many places to get food around the hotel. The staff are hardworking and I feel a little overwork as they seems to be exploited to work at least 12h a day. You will definitely see the staff cleaning the facilities be it morning, afternoon or evening at the pool and gym area. If you do not need need the gym and pool, I would recommend other hotel nearby which offers lower rate. However it's nice to dip in the pool during hot days. The staff are really friendly and speak average English.

Great location, clean facilities, friendly staff. Good value for money! ”
The hotel is a 30-40min (and 8000 kyats) ride from the airport. It's a 10-15min walk to the Shwedagon pagoda. To go from the hotel to downtown Yangon (Strand Hotel etc) it costs 2500-3000 kyats. Very conveniently located!

Very Nice staff with Good location ”
We stayed there for 15 days and I think this most relaxing time ever and enjoyable time in Yangon. My wife is 5 months pregnant; and she had special wish to eat breakfast and staff went to buy the food what she wish for breakfast to eat . There are a few reception guys we met in our checking time and the door guy ( he is always look after when my wife get in and out from car ( very special care);; he is really nice guy. Although we had to pay extra for day fee due to our flight we are happy with service they had offer . Just one thing breakfast should be a bit more Burmese style but this is okey for travellers, it just for us eating same foods everyday.. but it tastes. We like to thank you whole team for look after during our stay and we will definitely will come back again and recommend other friends. See you soon . Thank you Boenhof family

Strategic location and Clean”
The location is strategic to move around. Near to Kandawgyi Lake parks, accessible to many restaurants in a short distance. It is new. Everything is clean and neat. The gym is new. Employees are friendly and attentive. Breakfast dishes in the morning always change. The chef and manager prepared them with heart and passion. Good to improve: 1.Add metal grid on the window on level 1 2. Open up gym room when not in use as it is too new with some rubbery smell from the equipment.

Nice hotel but expansive ”
You got everything you need. Nice welcoming comfy room (one small issue the queen size bed was two single bed side by side. At this price you could expect better) People are nice, breakfast and restaurant very good, it’s quiet at night. Easy to get a taxi to go more in town, there I a nice park you can walk to. So nice place, but I think to expansive

Nice quiet modern hotel near Schwedagon”
This hotel is primarily a serviced apartment, but has several rooms for shorter stays on the 5th floor. The hotel is new, clean, and has a good gym and a rooftop pool. Breakfast is mostly Asian but with a large variety of hot dishes, as well as yogurt and fruit. Best of all for a business travel, they have free laundry machines available - so it won't cost you $15 to have your underwear and jeans washed!

Clean and Value for Money”
I stayed there 3 nights and find that the staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful even though they dont speake English. However the rooms are not sound proof. You can hear TV in other rooms.. if you are lucky and dont have anyone living next door then its peaceful. Option for buffett is not bad considering the standard of this hotel please dont expect 5 star lavish buffett but no options for pure veggies.. if you are an eggitarian then you are good. Pool is amazing. Lift sensors are very sensitive, atleast I couldnt press the buttons and had to call for help all the time. Location is good. 15 min walk to Swedogon Pagoda and 10 min by taxi to the center like Bogyoke Market, China Town etc. I was very happy to stay there!
