Note that I am reviewing this based on what I paid. We moved here from another hotel in Raffles City complex. That was top notched hotel but the cost is also double of Concorde. So we need to put that in perspective. The hotel is located along Orchard very close to Centerpoint and Orchard Gateway. We booked this hotle specifically for the shopping that we were going to do and to stroll down orchard as we usually do in our trips to SG. The Hotel has old vibe charm: bubble elevator, huge lobby, and the rooms are retro in decor. But we like that feel for a change after staying in an ultra modern hotel for 5 days. It was clean enough and I think I got upgraded to an executive club room. Inesh from the front desk was efficient and friendly and checked us in with no hassle. We could walk to all the shopping malls along Orchard. Staff was friendly. At half the price of our prior hotel, I would say it was very well worth it. Bus stop was right in front. Taxi and Grab was easy to get when we headed to the airport. I would book this hotel again when we go back to SG for shopping adventure in Orchard.

I had an overnight stay at premier club member, the room is small compare to what i had in mind, nevertheless its clean, spacious, smell fresh, the best part mini bar is complimentary. Yes even the drinks inside the fridge. Thanks to Mr. Adin, for assisting me in all I need, he let me borrowed a set of diff port charger, late check out is 2:30pm. He also let me check in early around 1pm. He’s very kind and this hotel is very generous in treating the guests, they made every guests feel special. The lobby is big old but clean, easy access to Dhoby ghaut station on the left inside plaza singapura mall, and somerset station on your right facing road from the hotel. Theres a korean restaurant along the way to concorde, its cheap and fulfilling every viand is with rice, if you want to have more choices theres 5min walk to plaza singpura mall food hub. I will book this hotel again.

Good things: 1. I requested early check in via email, and the hotel was able to accommodate it - I really appreciate that, thank you. 2. The room was indeed spacious (I booked the 31m2). My parents brought 3 big luggage and we were able to organize them while moving comfortably in the room. 3. I like the location - it has several nearby bus stop (I prefer bus way more than MRT) and several malls, so it's easy to take public transport and to get food. 4. Bathroom was clean, the amenities inside was good (I think the amenities provided are already a standard for this kind of hotel, but still, it's really nice) Neutral things (I don't mind with these things, but there might be people who will mind): 1. The building is indeed old, although I think it's still well managed. 2. The lighting is so dark... in the lobby, in the halls... 3. The supposed work chair in my room was not comfortable to sit at, it's squeaky and stiff. Negative thing (I personally still could manage, but I think this could be a real consideration for others): 1. All three people in my room couldn't connect to WiFi. My father asked the receptionist how to fix it. The receptionist told him to forget network and then reconnect again. It worked for my father's phone but not for me and my mother. Fortunately, we still had enough data for the days, so it's manageable for us.

The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to many shopping malls and MRT stations - 5 min walk to Plaza Sing, Orchard Central, Somerset MRT, etc. However, I thought the other aspects of the hotel were average. Check-in was fast, but at 8min to 2pm (check in time), my room still wasn’t ready. Didn’t help that the staff that assisted me was less than friendly. Note that according to the hotel, physical identity documents are necessary for check-in. I was not aware of it - it was apparently implemented last week but I couldn’t find any news article on it. The staff accepted my digital NRIC with reluctance but took a photo of it, which made me uncomfortable. I came back , queued a long time before I finally got my room card at around 3pm. No express check-out available, so you’ll have to ask one of the staff at the receptionist to check you out. The hotel room was clean. However I thought it wasn’t very well lit. There was supposed to be a table lamp (there was a switch for that) but it was missing. Basic toiletries like shampoo and body foam were available, thought not toothpaste or toothbrushes. The shower was clean and pressure was good, but the water temperature fluctuated a little. Room service was average and pricey, not unlike most hotels. You can choose to charge to your room, or pay by cash/credit card (you’ll pay on the spot when you receive your food). But unlike most hotels, the room didn’t have any way to indicate that I wanted housekeeping done. I didn’t use the facilities, so I can’t comment. All in all, it was an average stay for SGD245/night. Didn’t regret the stay, but I don’t think I’ll be back. If you don’t mind a longer walk to nearby malls, I think there are other potentially cheaper and better value-for-money options in Orchard/Bugis. But if you value proximity to malls and supermarkets, this is the place for you.
