Perfect location and very nice room”

We traveled to Copenhagen for only one day, and Copenhagen Plaza is one of the most suitable hotel because it’s located in the center of the city. Everything — shopping center, restaurants, and tourists attractions — are in walking distance; there’s a grocery shop nearby, and the staffs are very friendly. We booked a room for three (with additional extra bed) and the room was very spacy, the bathroom was nice, and the essential amenities were all there. The only con was the wifi slowed down, probably because our roomwas located at the corner of the floor.

Great location Art Nouveau Hotel”

Located just outside of Copenhagen Central Station (13 minutes train ride from the airport) across Tivoli garden and Anderson Bakery. There are bus stops in front of Central Station to bring you around the city or if you prefer you could walk to Stroget the shopping area and to Nyhavn the picturesque canal while enjoying the beautiful architecture of the city. I love the heated floors in the bathroom as well as the black out curtains. The concierge provided great service, 5 stars. Art Nouveau interior style, clean bed, adjustable heater for the room and water heater for tea or coffee. Beware there is a loud construction site across the hotel in April 2016.

Great Central Location”

We stay at this hotel every time we go to Copenhagen! It is a very charming hotel next to Tivoli and it has an awasome bar with nice atmosphere. There is a 7/11 around the corner from the hotel and Tivoli is on the other side from the Hotel. The staff is service minded, the rooms are clean and the check-out is fast.

Exceptional”

The Copenhagen Plaza Hotel looks like a refurbished old building with elements of old charm. It's just a couple of minutes from Copenhagen Central Station. Very clean rooms, great continental breakfast and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice lobby, great breakfast; should upgrade rooms”

Copenhagen Plaza is in a great location, a stone throw from the train station and within walking distance to the main shopping street Stroget and Tivoli. We love the buffet breakfast. One of the mornings, I didn't see any readily made sunny side up eggs and the chef kindly made it for me - wonderful service! Concierge staff were also helpful and spoke good English. The lobby is nice. We like the glass door lift - quite a novelty for us coming from Singapore. The room we stayed in is clean but it needs some upgrading to be as nice as the lobby.

Perfect Location and Yummy Breakfast Buffet”

The location of the hotel which is just stone throw away from Copenhagen Centre Station. Just come out from facing Tivoli entrance and turn to the back. My room has a perfect view of Tivoli and breakfast buffet spread is very good.

Gorgeous old hotel with oodles of charm”

First of all, the hotel is literally opposite the main entrance to the Copenhagen Central station - so it's really a fantastic location. Having said that, the station is a bit confusing and I went out the opposite side and then wasted 15-20 minutes trying to find the hotel - eventually someone told me to go back in and get out on the other side, and then the hotel was literally across the road. Easy to get to from the airport, easy to get around the city. It's a lovely old building with a quaint elevator - but all very well maintained. Staff were warm, friendly, and extremely helpful with recommending and booking restaurants and telling me how to get there. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was very nice indeed. Gym was a bit basic but not bad - I got in 2 very decent workouts Room was nice and cosy, not cramped. I'd read online that the proximity to the train station could make the hotel noisy but I slept like a log on both nights and nothing disturbed me. I also went into the highly recommended Library bar for a very nicely made Old Fashioned - and it was a very nice bar, great lighting and decor Overall, very highly recommended.

Plaza Hotel - Old style elegance”

My first impression of the Plaza was that it would be one of these dark dreary old fashioned hotels. It reminded me of an old English hotel. But once we settled in the surroundings grew on me and I saw the hotel more as elegant and historic, with charm and class. It is a thin line between old and historic and the Plaza is in the historic catagory. The location is this hotel's biggest plus point, especially if you are coming and going from the train or metro station. We asked for an up grade and got one. they also were happy to store our suitcase until we returned a week later for another stay at the hotel. There is minimum night life in the bar and nothing happens in the lobby. There is a computer and a good breakfast. The hotel is not cheap but few are in Copenhagen.

Old classic, clean, polite and great location”

we stayed at this hotel due ot a late arrival at kaastrup, and very positively surprised. the hotel lies a stonethrow from the central station, and very close to tivoli, ströget and many tourist desitination. our room had a great view overlooking tivoli. it was a big, superclean suite with all mod cons. the downstairs library pub was a welcome bonus. staff very polite, and a great scandinavian breakfast. the hotel also had a nice gym. we would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable bed and great shower”

We took dfds ferry from Oslo to Copenhagen, there is a shuttle bus to Trivoli which is very convenient. You get to see Trivoli from the window which is beautiful! And the window facing is able to see sunrise! You must go to Trivoli at night because the lights are beautiful! Good for us because we can reach hotel just a couple of steps away! The amenities are sufficient. There is hairdryer and towels. They gave double toiletries which is great! The bed is comfortable and wifi is available. Convenient store, 7-eleven is just nearby. There is a bus near the hotel that goes to airport which is convenient for us. I recommend you to stay there because of the location. The city attractions are very near so you can explore the city by walking over from the hotel. And by the way, the breakfast selection is wide and it’s yummy too!

Great location! ”

Great location right opposite main station. Check-in was easy with friendly & knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was plentiful with a good spread of hot & cold options. The hotel has a restaurant of an evening and whilst we didn’t eat there it looked popular, as was the library bar in the hotel. This was busy both nights of the weekend we were there with great live jazz being played. Would return to this hotel if staying in Copenhagen again.

Average Hotel, Good Location ”

Located just in front of Copenhagen Central Station which makes this hotel very convenient to get to and from the airport by train for only around 15 to 20mins. Just short walk to Tivoli and few minutes walk to the shopping street- Stroget. May places of interest are just within walking distance from this hotel, or one can choose to take bus or train to save time if stay in the city is short. Quick and easy checkin and checkout. We booked one family room good for 4 persons. Our room was not really big, but still good enough for us to move around. Bathroom was clean. Bedding was clean and comfortable. I noticed though that our room was dusty particularly on the tv and sofa. Dust was so visible which makes me wonder why the room cleaners were not able to remove these. All in all, we enjoyed this hotel during our entire stay.

Nice location, will be back again”

The hotel was right next to the central station and opposite to the Tivoli Garden. Easy access to all attractions via the station next door. About 5-min walking distance to the city hall. Lovely room with the balcony. The breakfast was not as good as expected.

Nearby the station that is very convincing to any travel place nearby Copenhagen, in the other hand that close to station, so the hotel have some noise when train pass through,therefore hotel also provide free earplug

Fantastic location and very friendly staff”

The hotel is very well located only few meters from the main trainstation and facing Tivoli. It is a very nice old and classy building. The staff was super friendly and Olly Anna in the reception went out of her way repeatedly to make our stay more pleasant. The breakfast was very good as well. We will definitely come again!

Just across the road from Copenhagen Central station hence can hear some train noise. Hotel has a classical look and is very clean. Staff were polite. Room was small but cost. Good selection for breakfast. Location was excellent. A few minutes from Tivoli and other major attractions can be reached within 20 minutes of walking.
