Our stay at The Scotsman Hotel was the best foot put forward at the onset of our day one of UK tour.location could not have been better. The amenities in the room were as royal as the City of Edinburgh. My stay would not have been this positive, if not for the Hotel Manager at that time. Mr Grant went out of his way to make my son and I comfortable. He was polite, help...
Simply Amazing! Centrally located right on the Royal Mile, this converted self service apartment at the top of over 90 or so steps of a stone spiral staircase (unit 11) was a Surprise Find! Spacious (the apartment), comfy (especially the bed) and clean! Management is helpful and staff are really friendly especially Eva who helped to take my suitcase all the way to t...
We stayed at the Belgrave for a gig at the Brixton O2 Academy. The hotel is located near the Oval tube station and there is free street parking on the weekend. We took a walk into Brixton which is about 1.5 miles away but decided to use taxis in the evening which reception helped us to book. We won't hesitate to book The Belgrave again when visiting London!
The staff are so friendly from the exceptional men who greet you on arrival to the staff at breakfast. Everyone is really friendly. Rooms are beautifully decorated and a fully stocked mini bar with the best complimentary biscuits we've ever had! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of city. Even though you are central you wouldn't know it as it's real...
Beautiful residential area, near the embassy row. Stone's throw away from Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Easily accessible by buses and Kensington High Stree Station. Apartments have been newly revamped/upgraded. We were first assigned apartment 11 (2-bedroom) on the 4th floor but the lift break down so we were moved to apartment 1 (3-bedroom) on the lower ground...
We were delighted with our choice for this visit to Manchester. We didnt want to stay in the centre but wanted to be within walking distance. The location is perfect. The hotel is spotless clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our room was lovely. It was bright...
large spacious apartment in the best location possible. Booked accidentally (price wasn't clear on Agoda website), so I wasn't happy with how much I paid, but that is beyond the control of the staff who were all great.
I was a bit worried before I got here because of some low rating reviews. However, while I was staying here for two days, I had no difficulty staying here except I had to jump over my carrier. At least I could leave my carrier open on the floor, though. The room was clean during the stay (hotel will NOT change your bed sheets but Will make the bed for you). Shampoo, bo...
i arrived early here and my room wasn't ready so they upgraded me to an executive suite. the room was already fantastic value for the location and the quality of the hotel, so this was the icing on the cake. room was modern, large for london, spotlessly clean and furnishings were excellent quality. staff were fantastic. best hotel i've stayed in for a long time, wo...
Just returned home today from spending 4 nights at K & K. I booked this property because the pictures were nice, the price was nice and I was familiar with the area, knowing I would be a one minute walk from one of the most convenient tube stations (Earls Court - which we easily traveled directly to and fro from Heathrow). What I wasn’t expecting was how CLEAN and wa...
I've staying here for two nights, everything was perfect. The concierge is very kind and professional. They help me on suggesting the best restaurants not only dinner and lunch but also afternoon tea and even if you are looking for fish and chips. They also book the tickets of the London eye and Westminster Abbey for me , that make my trip efficiently accomplished. T...
We stayed 3 nights at La Suite West. Once you go inside the hotel the entryway is dim (I guess it's their style). We booked a standard room and our room was located on the first floor. The room was very nice, it had a walk-in closet to put our luggage inside. The room came with a standard bathtub/stand-up shower room. One interesting find we notice the TV unit was rem...
I was wowed the moment I stepped into the lobby. It looked so posh and classy! The staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent service. It just feels like a 5 star hotel. The next best thing about the hotel is its location. People who love to shop will definitely love it. You just need to step out of the hotel, turn left, and the rest is the whole street of sh...
At the west end of London lies the district of Hmmersmith. It is a small district but it has its own charm and tranquility afar from the bustling area of central London. The hotel is modern new and chic best suited for the family and if your on a budget. The staff are very friendly courteous and accomodating specially Victor who helped me with my questions and booking ...
My stay at the hotel was generally decent as I was not in the hotel for the most part of the day. I had a single room for 1 and it was very small ,it was just right for one person traveling with only a hand luggage. I couldn't imagine being able to bring one big luggage on top of a hand carry bag into the room. The lift is very small and slow so I ended up walking the ...
A nice boutique hotel conveniently located near the busy Piccadilly Circus and the trendy Carnaby street (practically just next door). There is a Pret A Manger just around the corner that opens from 6.45am & so it becomes our daily source of breakfast (our preference is to sample the local food outside the hotel as much as we can including breakfast). The hotel is sty...
This is the second time I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Churchill. It is a luxury hotel and the location is absolutely fantastic. The staff at the hotel are extremely welcoming and seem to go out of their way to do whatever you need, from the doorman to the reception to the Club staff. Really excellent. I booked a Club Room, which I highly recommend. The rooms are f...
April 2018, stayed twice total 10 nights. First stay was in an Executive Room. Modern, clean, spacious and had a kitchenette, hot plates, microwave, sink, small fridge with a small freezer. Free Wi-Fi, wide screen TV and a Google phone to use inside and outside the room ( take it with you when you go outside ). Second stay we booked into a standard room but it wa...
Location is great. Its near Queesnway and bayswater station. Hotel is easy to find. Location is not too noisy. I was booked on to this hotel after another hotel could not honour my booking. It was just average for the overall service of the hotel. Partly disappointed with the service the hotel provided. We arrived at 7am london time and the receptionist told us there was no room available for us until the next guest checkout at 12-3pm. Making a guest wait? Why hilton is not flexible enough for a better option to customer?. Second thing, she upselled us to...
Hotel is about 5-min walk to Westminster underground train station & about 10-min walk to Waterloo train station, which has a lot of chain eateries & shops like M&S etc. The hotel is also just 5-min away from the London Eye and a further 5-10 min from the houses of parliament. Location is maybe its highest selling point. The room that we booked was spacious, with a s...
lovely stay at the Z, great service by the staff during our trip last weekend. able to drop our bags off in the morning before check-in to go round london. free cheese and wine every night between 5-8pm which is always busy and a lovely atmosphere in a boutiquey hotel and dining area. the rooms are small which is expected for a building of its size but more than enough...
we stayed at Point A hotel for 3 nights. we booked the biggest room and it is spacious, we also can see the Dome of St Paul's catheral from our hotel window. the hotel is close to the King cross station. and it is very accessible to most places in London by tube. we even walked to Camden town from the King Cross statuon. staffs deserves 5 stars, they are very accomod...
Great location, beautiful clean hotel with nice size rooms for family of three. Located one block from Millennium bridge so easy access to South Bank, Tate Modern Museum, the London Eye. St. Paul, and quick walk to Tower Bridge and London Tower. Close to Metro stations so able to quickly get to any other location. Some staff very friendly, helpful (ask for Christian ...
London House hotel is a good place to stay. The front desk staffs are very helpful. The cleaners always do the cleaning well. Taking the room with the garden view is recommended as every morning you will feel very refreshed just looking through the window. There are also some snack machine at the lobby if you wish to eat something. I am curious if the toilet amenities ...
I will never forget our staying is this hotel during this lifetime occasion. I really believe that the hotel have the best views in London, very romantic, and its location is perfect even to walk to Southbank area. The staff are very well trained and always delighted to make your stay memorable. I was surprised with this hotel, I was not expected to be so good as it w...
I stayed at the George for 2 days over a weekend. Location is much better than any hotel on Princes Street. Right in the best shopping area (not for "touristy" shopping). Conveniently close to major attractions and a short walk to other areas. I had a single room so it was a bit on the small side, but comfortable enough for a single traveler. The George seems to b...
Great location and wonderfully cooperative and helpful staff. Stored our luggage until our room was ready. The room was super small and with no window. We didn't realize that when we booked, but that's what an 'Interior Room' means; no window. However; they did make the best of the limited space and although it was tight for two adults and luggage, it wasn't bad f...
Spent 4 nights while touring the city. The best feature was it's proximity to Westminster being an easy walk to the centre of London. It was excellent value. The staff were helpful and the rooms comfortable. Didn't have breakfast there as it was too expensive! There were some nice coffee shops on Horseferry Rd. which was a short walk from the hotel. Altogether, a very ...
Cheap places to stay in United Kingdom
Great and very safe facilities for a solo female traveller. The staff was fantastic and would help you with any issues that might arise. It's very camping/fringe mentality in August but if that's what you want, it's the perfect place to stay and meet very creative and interesting people. Straight bus connection to city centre. More than value for money.
The best for short stay, not far away from city center, clean and good looking rooms. In my opinion toilets was too small but clean, with soap and shampoo. Good price and friendly staff. I would like to come back :)
As a whole It’s really a good place to stay . It’s clean, rooms are spacious comparatively . Have a wide kitchen and lounge. Even though few things to consider . There are no Lockers in the rooms . Not so many restaurants options around. But the Bar at the Side of the River and the Indian food place was good. For me the Receptionist wasn’t that friendly, I had to pa...
One of the best hostels in Brighton, everything is cleaned regularly, There are travellers from all over the world, the breakfast is delicious and rich and also the staff is nice and friendly.
I was stayed for 1 night at this hostel on 26/09/17, the staffs there is nice and friendly very helpful, which I'm so appreciate with this. The hostel was packed, When I was stayed there but didn't too loud and able to sleep at night. the toilets and showers is clean and empty when I need it (as I am always outside and back to hostel quiet late, so not sure if busy o...
Great place for the price, only 15 minutes walk to city centre, a bit further to Goodison for the football (or Anfield if you're that way inclined). Good beds, heating great, loads of communal spaces for tv etc. Basic free breakfast was a nice suprised, toast/cereal/coffee or tea. Good hostel experience!
The communal areas are really nice decorated and the rooms were pretty basics and was relatively unattractive, but somehow clean, gotta share the bathroom and the showers with few other rooms but it's not so bad. it's easy to walk to the spots, the restaurants, the shops. also, the royal mile itself is an aged street. All along the royal mile is full of really nice caf...
The Coppermines hostel is at the top of a very rough track out of Coniston village which I would not like to have to negotiate in the dark. Plenty of space to park, though. Facilities are hostel basic, but very clean, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They provided a lovely two-course dinner (with vegetarian option) for £9.95 which saved the hassle of goin...
I really enjoyed my stay there, really nice staff,so friendly and helpful all the time with a big smile in their mouth and lovely kindness. I stayed there to stay 3 days in a 4 bed room, actually it was like a Hotel, with lcd tv and sofa inside of that, so lovely, but there are something i don't really dare with it: Wifi, completely bad in the whole place, room and co...

I love staying in the Camden hostel!! So easy to get to and really cheap :) great rooms and a lovely venue/ My only issue here was the fact that the room was SOOO HOTTT argh I was up on the highest third bunk bed and was like a sauna :( they really should turn the heating off and gave me a right headache all the next day but had a great time other than that and will de...
It's the first time I've tried this as a cheap alternative to a hotel, and really enjoyed it. The privacy offered by the curtained bunks work well; of course there are always people coming and going with so many to a room, but you can tell that people are doing their best to be quiet in the room itself and I slept solidly all night. Good facilities, showers and toile...
I stayed in Quadruple room which was around half of the room in the picture and it was not nice like the pictures as well. However, there is little kitchen zone and minibar in the room. Another weak point of this hostel is there is only one bottom to push which is very hot water. We cannot adjust it and staff told us to use shared shower rooms that may better or wa...
I was a bit apprehensive about booking a youth hostel, worrying that it might be spartan, cold, noisy. Haworth YH was none of these, in fact the opposite. I really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay there again, and in fact I will now try other YHs.
This was the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The ensuite bathroom was a pleasant surprise and although I did not have much to say to my roomies they were not untrusive and I managed to have a pleasant stay over the time I was there. The price varied quite dramatically...one night it was 7 pounds and other nights 23 pounds so it paid to check the online rate rather...
Pros: - Excellent location, 1 min to Russell Square tube station so great to get around. - Affordable at ~£100 a week. - Great privacy with curtains on each bunk and a power socket. Bring a multi board with you to plug in more devices. Travel adapters are available at reception for £5. - Super quiet in comparison to other hostels. This is probably due to the fact that ...
Good: Budget nights. Kind staffs. Might be good place for making friends Best dorm hostel for cleanliness. Bad: poor showering facility, but clean. Malfunctions found in shower head.
I stayed Saturday and Sunday night, I advice if you plan on going to sleep before 3 am to choose somewhere else on a Saturday night as being on top of a Pub they have raging party's ;) :D That was the only Negative, some extra soundproofing would be nice. Beds were good although I felt my blanket was a bit short :') Power to your bed is great. Only two showers per leve...
The general presentation of this place is fantastic. Someone has done a really good job with all of the livery, lighting, comfort of the shared areas. But the rooms and especially the bathrooms/showers need urgent attention because they're dangerous, frankly. I was in a shower when the automatic energy-saver light went out leaving me in total darkness. Moving didnt tur...
the staff is very kind heart and very helpful. i booking wrongly date but she help me to fixed my booking on that day i arrived..very recommended
Such lovely and helpful staff members. Had a lovely stay at the hostel and they made it nicer. The only thing I was gutted about was the shower next door to our room was broke and we has to go upstairs to a different floor for it. But would definitely stay again!
I believe I paid too cheap for such facilities I enjoyed. The room, the bed, and the shower room are completely clean and excellent. It has a clean communal kitchen with complete free facilities to use. However, it's a bit far from City centre. I came there by car, so it was not a problem for me. Otherwise, there's a bus stop just next to it, so it should not be any is...
I stayed in a 4 bed room, though there were only 3 of us in the room on the night I stayed. I wasn't keen on the ensuite bathroom - it is like being on a ship. I would prefer a bathroom away from the room, due to the noise of the fan and shower etc. I would guess if you were a light sleeper and there were more people in the room this could be quite annoying. There was ...
Staff are friendly and helpful. They are willing to share with us the attractions nearby. Also, it is an unforgettable experience for staying in a historic building in Edinburgh. Also, it is very cheap and the location is very good that it is near to most attractions. The kitchen is very large that it was not crowded even when there are many people in it. Also, they pr...
Brighton Home has some excellent features: the responsive and caring staff, the beds have privacy curtains, the showers and toilets are clean spacious and available. and the location is close to green areas, shopping and quality restaurants at reasonable prices. It is definitely a good value for the money. There are some facets I would have preferred to be different:...
We actually got a better deal with Agoda website than paying directly, so it only cost us just over £21 for two of us in a six bed dorm. Facilities were basic but clean, and much better than another hostel in the city (which we won't name). We would have given 5 stars for facilities if there had been lockers in the room. A towel would have been nice but, as it's a bac...
Good base if one wants to mountain climb, socialise and some quietness. I is located far away from town centre, with no wifi and lines for phone calls. Nice place for quiet time and chill with family members. To get into place, the last 1 mile is on a 1 way rough laterite road, a chanlleges if one uses a small city car, otherwise not an issue. All in all good value...
This place was amazing and not what we were expecting when we booked a hostel at the price we paid! It was decorated lovely, it was clean, the staff were helpful. There is a great locker/luggage area which came in handy. There is a really nice big bar with cheap drinks. The rooms are small but clean and have storage. The location was the best part about it, just off th...
Location is unbeatable, right next to the Waverley & Central between old town & new town. I got the double ensuite with the best view oversee the station & Princes Street and with most reasonable price during my stay (+30£). The Inn has the lift for heavy baggage travelers, Breakfast is good & free if booking direct. Highly recommended
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The staff is really friendly and helpful and there is just a positive vibe present in the hostel ..

Stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast, breakfast was lovely each morning and hotel had a good selection, fruit, cereal and the option of a hot breakfast. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Have been to London quite a few times in last two/three years and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at.
i booked this after reading other travellers comments and looking for somewhere to stay near earls court for exhibition. everything was booked and it was hard to find anywhere. i didn't want to spend silly money but i didn't want to stay in a dump either. by silly money i mean over per night. so this is pretty difficult in central london obviously. booked park inn and ...
Please indicate on Agoda booking form that NO TWIN BEDS are available. I was not told this BEFORE my booking was accepted and payment locked in. I have re-booked this hotel as I had very positive feedback since my first visit (31-Mar to 06-Apr 2019). So I'm going to repeat the same comments during my first visit. My booked room was: Deluxe Double Studio (~ 18 m2). Despite the room was little small, I really felt like I'm in my home. Advantages: 1- The Hotel looks like new. 2- Most of the important and require...
The hotel was awesome and in a great location. It was a 2 minute walk to the Tube (district an circle lines)and above ground rail. The hotel is located near Lancaster Gate station, and within comfortable walking distance to Paddington Station and Bayswater/Queensway (where there are ample of food options). when i booked to stay at the tower, i was convinced it was going to be a bit past it's best as the price for my stay was so reasonable. i grew up not far from this hotel and remember it being built which was a long time ago. often these type of hotels have passed through several owners and each time they lose a bit of their splendour. that was not the case though wi...

Best location for airport transfer to and from Gatwick, just across the train station (Victoria railroad st). Our stay was very comfortable, the beds are great and the hotels is very clean. We arrived at The Landmark Hotel and was told we could check in early. We were so pleased and grateful to hear that our room has been upgraded to an executive room as it was our 15th wedding anniversary. I have just returned from a 3-night stay at Flemings hotel in London and I am NOT looking forward to my own bed, for a change! We enjoyed our stay at Knights Residence at the beginning of our trip to Scotland. We loved this hotel. And that says a lot because we are very picky and high maintenance. I originally wanted to stay at the Four Seasons and I’m so glad we decided on this boutique 5 star hotel. I had originally booked a room at the ritz for my birthday, but decided it wasn't worth it unless we were having afternoon tea etc. I wanted to stay in the same area, so I booked a deluxe room at the May Fair and saved nearly £200 in doing so. Upon arriving there, our bags were taken from us and we were shown to the check in desk. The gentleman who checked us in was ve...
This is a fabulous hotel. Agoda had a great deal on it and my partner and I booked Thames Room (159 GBP hotel price, 127 GBP through Agoda) for 3 nights. Check in and check out were very fast. Staff was attentive, polite and discrete. Room size was perfect, all facilities working, breathtaking views for Thames and heliport. We saw helicopter landing 3 times during 3 da...
This is my third time to stay at this hotel. I booked the executive room so can enjoy the excecutive lounge service. They offer non -stop drinks and food during specific time which is excellent which not many other hotels in Europe will do the same. Their breakfast at lobby is more than excellent!!! All the food is fresh and specially made. I really enjoy to stay at...
The hotel is beautiful in every way. The staff are very friendly and really tried their best to keep the hotel running. Our initial room's air con was not working so we were upgraded to the Queen's suite for our entire stay which was about 9 days! My kids were over the moon obviously. The hotel had some issues with an over heated server that set the sprinklers off in ...
A nice hotel with a nice location , 10 min from most shopping malls. a professional staff with the best training- the food was perfect. the hotel condition was perfect the suite I booked was very nice with a wonderful bathroom.
From the moment our car approaching the hotel the hotel staff is coming up to gree us, smooth checking in, valet parking, handling our luggages to each room, showing us the hotel facilities, guiding us to each rooms, showing our point of interests and providing guidance with local map. When we use the hotel mineral hot spring bath pool the staff provide us with bathing...
The location was as good as it could be right in the heart of Leicester Square. We got to Chinatown and Soho in less than 2 minutes which were just up the street. Other than the location, the best feature about the hotel is its concierge service. What pampering! Each time we came out of the lift in the morning we were asked if we need a taxi to be called, our ticke...
It's a pitty it does not have a swimming pool for a 5-star establishment. It is not fancy but manages well squeezing everything else in an old building. Metro station right across the street and within walking distance to the river. Staff performed well. The concierge we spoke with about getting transportation to the airport did not appear to be knowledgeable of the ma...
The staff was great. We arrived late at night with three teens, two boys and a girl. We needed three rooms, with at least one having two singles for the boys. My daughter had her own room next to ours, and the boys were on the next level, which was perfect. The room was very small, no fridge, but spotless. The only negative is the noise level within the hotel. The wall...
Planned my proposal and this was the hotel we stayed at after. We'd never stayed at a Hilton and I booked a king room. They upgraded us to deluxe for free and then offered us executive for £35. Obviously we said yes because that came with access to the executive lounge. Free afternoon tea, evening drinks and breakfast the next day. Amazingly attentive staff and the rea...
Without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed in London. Every member of staff were incredibly accommodating, professional and friendly, especially Giovanni (front of house) who upgraded us to a riverview suite because there were no suites ready when we first arrived (which was 9am). He took our moble number and called when the suite was available, outstanding ser...
I was staying in another hotel during my first 5 days in London, then was off to York for 2N before returning to London for my last 3N, where I was booked at the Principal. I was unsure where best to store a big luggage bag prior to my travel to York as the other hotel's policy did not allow overnight storage . I called up the Principal to get their suggestion and an ...
what a gorgeous hotel! You can easily get lost through the halls because it's so huge but you really wouldn't mind because the decor is amazing! We got a fantastic deal, saving a couple of hundred pounds which was fab! The staff were exceptional, we arrived early so couldn't check in yet and the lady at reception seeing we were suited and booted for a wedding offered t...
Marvin & buddhika, you guys recently helped me with reservation and check in on Feb 6. Thanks to you and the other staff, The rooms were clean and comfortable. The room I booked online was not the same for its square meter and it was not looking to a day light. In the picture I had from Agoda, There was a nice window and sofa Room service takes 30 - 45 minutes for a wine and never the orders came in rightly. First night dinner at the restaurant I asked first 250 ml red wine and then a glass came in and I thought it was the h...
I booked this hotel as my daughter & I had tickets to watch Britain’s got talent auditions the location was fantastic as the London palladium was around the corner and the bonus being all staff crew ,acts and judges where based here , the hotel was spotless , warm and felt very luxurious would definitely book again . Mandy & Emily from Devon
Booked a junior suite for 3 travellers. The pull out sofa was perfect for our teenager. The room came with a great patio but as it was winter we were not able to enjoy it. The room came with a nespresso machine, ironing board and the usual amenities. Housekeeping was very responsive, providing frequent towel changes in view of the damp weather at this time of year. The...
I booked the business class rooms as I was arriving in Manchester early morning but was unable to get an early check in. The receptionist said they were running full. Hence I had a shower in the spa and left to do my stuff in the city center. Having visited the united kingdom many times, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Manchester and will be back here ...
It was the perfect romantic break from first stepping through the door we felt like VIP's. the hotel was very secure the staff were perfectively attentive. The bedroom well what can I say but "wow" the bed went on forever and was the ultimate in comfort, as i do love my high thread-count sheets though this is the first time I've had them even though I've stayed in 5* h...
The hotel was great, staff went out their way to help and were friendly and chatty whilst remaining professional. Overall a great stay and fantastic location just off of Princes street for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to tourists and business travellers. The heatlh suite was a little dated but I think this ,ay be being refur...
