Great Location”
Location made this place unbeatable. Starbucks and an alternative cafe across the street along with other Japanese restaurants. On one side of the hotel is 7/11 & to the other a ramen shop. Canal city is less than 100 ft away and the bus stop is right there. Two things I will say… The pillows, hard as a rock and if you’re a fan of controlling the temperature in your room.. you won’t be able to. We stayed during winter and we had to open the window and leave it open all night just to make the room bearable. If you don’t care about pillows or control ac/heat. Stay here!

Worth the price”
We only stayed for one night but upon checking in, the staff was really accommodating and it only took less than 5 minutes after the key card for our room was issued. The only deal breaker I found was not being able to adjust the room temperature as the air conditioning is centralized. In anyway, you can login to your Netflix account and binge watch as well if you are on a staycation :)

Overall is very good. But it's just not for elderly because bathub is high so difficult to step in. 7-11 is next to hotel. Staff can communicate in English. I stayed in 2 bed which is good. Bed qualify is great. Room size is in my expectation. Only heater air-con but you can open the room window if you'd like. Free tea-bag but no coffee!!, please. Walk 10 mins to Hakata station and 7 mins to bus station and subway 9/10 for adults and young people

I traveled alone in Japan for sevelral time but this is my first time in kyūsyū. This hotel is really good for me. Location is extremely impress me because it’s in the center of Fukuoka, nere by Hakata staion for5-10mins walk. There are varities of convinient store, drug store and also the restaurent. Moreover, I can walk just a few minute to canel city; the popular department store in Fukuoka. The room is very clean and suite for the backpake traveller and the price is pretty good. Service and staff are quite good, they are support and helpful. Thanks for good stay of mine!! I will come back again for sure.

Walkable from Hakata Station, but practically next to Canal City”
The hotel is standard business hotel for Japan. Although the room felt dated, but it is comfortable. For the price, the room space is as expected. Staff are friendly and helpful. Basic facilities are adequate. The location is good, although those travelling afar need to walk a distance to Hakata station. Otherwise, it is just next to Canal CIty (for shopping), with bus stop to Tenjin (for more shopping). From Canal City, there are also yatai available for some local cuisine.

very typical business hotel and great value if you get it at discounted price. room is reasonable size for japanese business hotel and bathroom is the all-in-one bath+shower with toilet next to it. best thing about hotel is location. it's about a 10 min walk to hakata station. also very close to canal city. internet access is free with your own computer but they provide you with a lan cable, not wifi.

Extremely tiny but in a great location”
This hotel has all the basic facilities you will need and is located just across the road from Canal City Hakata (which incidentally has an Evangelion store and an awesome Evangelion water show for you anime fans). This means you have easy access to food, shopping, and the riverside. There are quite a few shrines nearby and Kawabata Shotengai is not at all far away either. If you intend to spend most of your time roaming within the Hakata urban core, this location is really hard to beat. It's within walking distance of Hakata station as well, so it's not bad at all even if you are planning to take trains (regular or shinkansen) out often. Hotel staff are pretty nice and the nightly price is low by Hakata standards. The only bad sides are that the hotel feels very old and is extremely tiny - there is hardly any walking space around the bed and the bathroom is rather cramped. Definitely not a luxury staycation experience but fantastic as a sightseeing base.

Overall Quite Satisfying”
Overall the hotel is quite satisfied, however there are cons about this hotel. The room is quite small for 2 adults and the location is a bit far from Hakata Train Station. However, the pros about this hotel, it has strong WiFi connection and the staff over there is friendly and helpful. The price was quite reasonable too.

Close to JR Hakata station!”
Walkable to JR and subway Hakata station. Hotel staff was friendly and can communicate in English. Hotel is very close to canal city and not far from Kawabata shopping arcade. Hotel room is small but suitable with Asian fun size. Hotel room is equipped with all the necessities included hair dryer, kettle, tea and coffee and shampoos, toothbrushes etc. The reception counter can even loan their weighing scale to check your luggage weight. Recommended!

Near Hakata Station”
What's excellent about this hotel is its location. You just walk straight from exit 19 or 20 of Hakata Station (outside these exits is a map where Court Hotel is marked). Beside the hotel is also an affordable restaurant. The Canal City is also a walking distance from the hotel. The staff were accommodating, however, we happened to talk to a front desk staff who had difficulty in understanding and speaking English. Generally, we had a very good stay.

Convenient, good value hotel near Hakata Station”
Got into town late, so I had reserved a room at the closest business hotel to Hakata station. Not a bad walk even with a heavy roller bag. Can't beat the price if you just want a basic budget room for the night. Only complaint was that wifi was advertised and I couldn't get it to work (and was too exhausted to inquire for help).

Budget Friendly”
Like most of the posted review of this hotel, it is strategically located near Hakata station which makes it convenient to travel and visit places. Staff are nice, they clean the room daily. What I find odd is the hotel policy wherein you need to leave your keys at the front desk everytime you leave the hotel premises, coming back you just need to give your room number and your registered name. For me I think it poses a risk, there are instance when I am claiming my key then there are other guests / persons nearby the front desk or front desk area hearing my room number and full name as I provide it to the hotel staff. In general we enjoyed our stay, just manage your expectations room is ample enough for 2, tv only displays local channels, foreign channels are still in Japanese language.
