"This is a large, well-run campsite with great facilities. The two pools were great, very clean and a good size. The restaurant was lovely, good selection and very tasty. We went in August and you do need to book during the day for that evening. The chalet was very clean and well stocked with crockery, cutlery etc. Air con, towels and sheets all included. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms which was a bonus. This is a great base for exploring Florence and you can alternate sightseeing days with pool days. Don’t use the shuttle bus when you go to florenxe though as there is a bus for the same price just along the road from the campsite which takes you much closer in. You can use contactless credit or debit cards to pay for your journey."

"The hotel was superb! It was nicely situated along the river. It was about a 20 minute walk to the ponte vecchio but it was such a lovely walk and there were great open parks and gatherings along the way. We were actually glad that it was a little bit away from everything or we would have missed out on seeing such a lively part of the city! The hotel and its staff were incredible. They had taxis and a free shuttle service so getting in and out of the center of town was very easy, but we still preferred to walk. The outdoor and indoor pool were a welcome during our stay as we were in Florence in July so it was quite hot, but the pool offered a nice escape from the heat. There are also so many wonderful touches that the hotel adds like flavored water and biscotti and candy jars at arrival and their custom bath products were great! The hotel offers great excursions and can even arrange a cooking class within the hotel. Our room was upgraded and it was so comfortable and roomy and honestly we didn't want to leave! The bartender Andreas was so kind and we looked forward to having our afternoon or evening nightcap with him upon our return to the hotel. I can't recommend this hotel enough. I will absolutely be back and there's nowhere else I would want to stay in Florence. The hotel has everything you could hope for and more!"
