Dago hotels & places to stay

I need a low budget vacation, so i went to Bandung. While checking for Hotels i found out that i have some extra point to redeem so i decide to checking out this good looking hotels in Dago. Well, it's not just good looking; the staff was also nice and helpful. While i don't bring any extra cash and my CC was declined for deposit, but they nicely said that i don't have to put a deposit and if i order anything from the cafe or take anything from the mini bar then i have to pay it right away. It was ok for me, so i heading up to the room. If you order the room using Agoda, then i should say it's a very-very-very good value for your money. :) located in one of the nicest street in Bandung and i get a room with a street view. Really comfortable with a wifi that actually working with a decent speed. And when i check out, i forgot about my t-shirt but the room service get my t-shirt back for me. It was a nice gesture as i remembered that i sometime left a t-shirt or jacket or anything and i never get em back. I will totally return.

I stayed with my husband and 4months old daughter. They have very-comfort bed, very clean room, clean towel, and super delicious breakfast. for breakfast, they provide several choices of main course, appetizer, and dessert. They provide waffle, Batagor, juices, and croissant. They provide Valet parking for free and the staffs are really helpful. They also have gym and not-so-big pool. The location is perfect. It is surrounded by Supermarket and dKiosk, a well known-restaurant hall in Dago area. Unfortunately, it took time to check in, since the receptionist was always busy to handle guests (I check in on Friday evening) Overall, It was great to stay here and would love to come back here again!

Location at Dago Atas was convenient to minimart, cafes, and street stalls. Bedroom was clean, bathroom was minimally equipped but necessary items were provided. Great shower head and heater! Empty mini fridge provided, could be cooler but not too bad. Staff were very helpful although not proficient in English. Cafe's food was good, but more so for indonesian dishes than western ones. We ordered room service and found that the portion served then was more than when served in cafe (same dish). Prices differed slightly too but no problem. Found it difficult to get a cab and had to use the hotel car a few times, it was pricey but ride was comfortable - about 100-200k for dago/rumah mode/airport. The only problem we had was with the doors. Had problems closing and locking toilet and balcony door. Our key didnt work for the main door but I think they 'changed the code/lock' each time we had housekeeping which I guess is quite safe! The decor was lovely, a mix between western and Indonesia's ethnic culture. Beautiful hotel.

I stay with my family for 2 nights @ Sheraton Dago Bandung. Overall was Ok. good hotel although old hotel. but thw tower section is newly renovated. food is good. facilities especially for kids are good. however there is a little incident when I want to short term park my car near the lobby, the concierge didn't allow me to park there. however just when i move my car a luxury car came and they gave the parking lot. I think that this is very not professional and not expected from a 5star hotel. other than that staff is friendly and the lounge in tower is good..

Beehive is more familiar with its restaurant. However, the boutique hotel is such a nice place for staying one-two nights in Bandung. The location is very near with Dago street. You can walk to enjoy shopping and cullinary experience along Dago street. My first experience was staying at family room, fit for four persons. The room was neat with its nice interior. As complimentary, you will receive one breakfast menu from the Beehive restaurant. For the price per night per person is around USD 25, really affordable and such a comfy place to stay.

I booked executive room but it was not ready so they upgrade to boutique suite. Thanks to the nice receptionist guy. The room was quite big, and clean eventhough the hotel is quite old..but they maintain it well. Sadly the breakfast choices not variatif and seems lack of food. The location was perfect, if you want to have nice evening hangout in Dago Pakar. Very near. Overall my stay was pleasant...

We enjoy our stay for a night at Marbella. Located on Dago Pakar (approx 10 km away from city centre), it is very nice place to stay and relax. Since we know that Dago Pakar is "cafe all-around", it will not take so hard to find some food. The only problem with the room we stayed was THE SHOWER. the water pump was so weak resulted no pouring water to your head, we had to use the bathtub which was taking a little bit longer to be filled first. Another thing you have to consider is when you swim. there were a lot of mosquitoes around. I got bite for more than 10 spot while sitting in the whirlpool for around 30 minutes. The good points were the hospitality of the people. They served greatly and well mannered, also the breakfast was really nice with a lot of menus provided (even though it was on Ramadhan). Overall, Please Fix the shower, then surely we'll be back.

I stayed for 1 night only here on 22-23 Dec 2018 (Something that I regret, should book for longer stay). I booked 2 rooms of Deluxe Queen, North Wing. Here is the summary of what I've experience and overall impression of my stay. Pros: - This hotel is newly refurbished and rebranding from the previous Holiday Inn Dago into Courtyard by Marriott Bandung, so you can expect the interior feels refreshed and new. I love the new modern design especially in the room. Even for the lowest category, the room still feels so luxurious and cozy. Bed & duvet are so smooth and fluffy although I actually prefer more firm bed for better back support but its still feel very comfortable. I think the room cozyness is the main highlight here. It makes you feel like you don't want to go outside. Even better is the view from the room. I got rooms in 6th floor facing north to Dago area so we can see the mountainous landscape of North Bandung. Feels very refreshing to have such a view from your room. The bathroom also looks so luxurious and exclusive. Although no bathtub for this room category, but we got a toilet with integrated bidet and shower with 2 choices of hand and rain shower. The bathroom amenities are provided by Nirvae. In my opinion this is the best 4-stars hotel bedroom in Bandung (from around 7 to 8 4-stars hotel I've tried so far in Bandung) - Parking space is quite a lot here. The common problem with hotel in Bandung is limited parking space. Here in Courtyard I think its not a really big problem as they have ample parking space including several level of basement (although basement a little small) - Breakfast quality is top notch. Although the variety could really use some improvement. 1 flaw thing here that I noticed was the croissant (I'm a big fan of it) was more like bread than puff pastry. The hotel location is great just in the corner of Dago street. At first we have a great experience in this hotel, but there are slight problem with the room service while we stay there. During our 3rd or 4th night at the hotel, we ask for change towel with the room service and we wait tuntil mid-night but there's no towel delivered to us so we just go along with the towel that we have at that time until the next day, and also I've extended my stay quite often during this stay and everytime I extend, the next day receptionist always call me at 11.30 to remind me to check out. And I always go down to the lobby to explain to them that I already extend and they must check it out with the staff on the day before. And I happend 2-3 times during my stay. The breakfast is very limited, maybe they can improved it a bit. But for the location it's one of the best value for money in Bandung.

A great family hotel and yet you can still do your overdue laptop work in the room. But no fancy pool nor gym. If you need to go around Bandung you're very much in the heart of the friendly city. The breakfast is one of the best, if you order a birthday cake you will not be dissapointed with their in house blackforest or cheese cake. Sunday morning is a blast with the Car Free Day (CFD) atmosphere just outside the hotel in Dago street.

we stayed there 3 nights with 3 small children. the hotel staffs were very friendly and the room was cozy. even though there was no big facilities like gym or pool, it still can accommodate our needs very well. the room comes with 3-day free breakfast and many complimentary items-snacks and water bottle. they even gave us a complimentary buffet dinner for 2. it definitely worth your money! if we come to bandung again, we definitely choose this hotel! thanks scarlet dago hotel..

I booked just for 1 night and ended by stay in this hotel for 3 night (s) , the regia is quite new hotel, their room quite big and clean, before you enter the hotel there is Alfa mart which provides your necessity while you stay at the hotel. The don't have lift so you need to use stairs but it's okay their staff will help you to carry your bag/luggage if you had trouble to carry it...enjoy stay here furthermore the hotel is quite nearby from dago pakar area where you can find restaurants or cafe to see Bandung city and just nearby the hotel itself there are so many food stall and their taste are also quite good

This hotel is in Bandung main road, local call it jalan dago (dago street). Walking distance to factory outlet, many restaurant, supermarket, fast food, and many food hawkers. You can stop bus or mini bus (angkot), even taxi in front of this hotel to many Bandung interest place. Got very reasonable price, clean room, quite big room for the price, comfortable. This is just old ordinary hotel, dont expect modern international chain hotel in this hotel ambience. Staff very polite. Fast checkin and checkout. Nothing to worry about reception. Breakfast just a plate of fried rice, just enough for us. Will come back someday.

I booked two superior rooms for my friends. We picked this hotel as the location is the nearest with Bukit Moko and Tebing keraton as for this adventure trip we only wanted to visit these two places. It turned out the location is really closed to both places. The cleanliness was good, staffs were not much but friendly, the food was mild to good and the price was really affordable. I would like to recommend this hotel to others who would like to stay around Dago atas area or to explore Bukit Moko, Taman hutan Juanda and Tebing keraton.

I visit this part of Bandung several times a year for business. Before House - Sangkuriang opened, I stayed several times at the Scarlet Dago across the street, and before that opened, I had stayed at a few places on Dago proper or on Jalan Merdeka. Compared to the other places I've stayed at in Bandung -- all of which are in the same price range -- the rooms at House - Sangkuriang are smaller but in much better condition and much more comfortable. Hopefully it will stay that way. The staff at House - Sangkuriang may be the friendliest staff I've ever experienced in all my trips to Indonesia -- they really look out for your needs as a traveler, are there to offer suggestions on just about anything, and will offer you a complimentary coffee or tea or water any time you sit down in the lobby/lounge area. (And the coffee is good, brewed in European style -- better than Starbucks!) MY ONLY TWO COMPLAINTS are (1) that the rooms are not soundproofed from street noise, so loud motorbikes coming up the hill might keep you awake until almost midnight or wake you up after 6 am (although I've had this problem in other hotels in Bandung as well), and (2) the internet in the rooms was fast when it worked, but it was down part of the time and kicked you off every 20 minutes on the dot when it was working (the internet in the lobby was better and didn't kick you off).

I stayed here for 2 days 1 night at christmast night. I was difficult to find a good hotel with low price, because almost all hotelss offered with high price. I was happy to find it because it was cheap and had a large room for 5 persons. First we arrived here, we might take the upstair because our room location is the uppest side. Slight tired. Then we opened the doow, we admired with its room concept and the view. But, we were dissapointed cause AC was not available here :( So far I was satisfied

13/06/18 superior room (kamar 1-07). Untuk sekelas guesthouse, ini sudah mantap. Ada dapur umum: kompor, kulkas, dispenser air panas, normal, dingin. Luas superior room 18m2. Ada lemari baju, meja kursi, meja tv. TV 24 inch, banyak siaran. Ada ruangan terbuka bermeja kursi & yang terpenting boleh merokok. Kekurangan: Receptionist sering tidak ditempat. Tidak ada gelas untuk sikat gigi Tidak ada gelas minum Wifi tidak dapat digunakan di kamar. Ruangan lobby lantai 1 terlalu gelap Lampu depan toilet (kamar 1-07) mati /gelap padahal bisa dijadikan lampu tidur. Tidak setuju harus titip kunci mobil karena banyak barang belanja di dalam mobil, terpaksa barang belanjan harus dipindah ke kamar. Mobil saya sudah di posisi parkiran yang paling dalam & parkiran sepi cuma ada 2 mobil.

A family of 10 checked in on our first day, bedsheets and pillows were not changed, there is stain and it does not smell fresh, and feels dirty. The bath towels have a foul smell to it. The showering kits were not replaced on a daily basis, especially when the bottle is so tiny. There is no hair-dryer. My father tried to open up the cupboard in the living room, to his horror there were hundreds of ants crawled out, I was horrified, we sprayed the baygon and swept it clean. There is minimum plates, bowls, fork, and spoons to go around for us, the fork and spoon were dirty, stained by the bbq. Plates were not washed clean, there were food stains as well. We saw a few cockroaches near the swimming pool. All in all, we are delighted to stay with daily home because the house is beautifully decorated and there are 5 rooms, perfect for big family, located on the mountainside, cooling with nice scenery! We had fun with the swimming pool and the pool table, great bonding time!
