Great location and quiet”
Travelling with a 7 and 5 year old in Vietnam is challenging and fun. The Dana Pearl 2 staff were great. The room we had was very quiet. The location is great to duck out and watch the Dragon bridge. Walking distance to the market and cathedral.

This is a good hotel right on the river, a block from the best restaurants in town. It's clean and comfortable. Good bathroom, good tv, very good service. When I wanted to make coffee in my room, they volunteered to bring piping hot thermos of water every day. Very nice. Some reviewers complain that staff don't speak english, but it's not the case. There was always 1 person available who spoke english. Da Nang people really do not speak much english, so this place is actually better than average... Breakfast was ok. Mostly Asian buffet but they'll cook eggs for you. Very strong VN coffee. My complaints about this hotel: 1. the laundry was very expensive and not the best job 2. the towels are fairly new and nice quality, but they are Brown and Smelly because of the poor water quality in Da Nang. Hotel needs to add chlorine bleach when washing the towels.

Hotel is right in the middle of the town area and within walking distance to most of the attractions in Da Nang. The price we paid for a 3 bed room is also reasonable. Staff command of English is still something of a disappointment and has plenty of room for improvement...

Great location for Han river walking along”
the hotel is just one year anniversary at the time we stayed there. the facility is quite good, it's over our expected for a 2-star-hotel. the room is provided with an lcd but the quality of tv signal is not quite good, i mean the quality of image. the staff is friendly but seeming that they do not have much information regarding the places nearby, i.e. when we asked them where to eat nearby with local specialties and they had to check every time and calling us back. they also gave us the wrong information regarding opening hours of the restaurant too. they said the restaurant that we asked which is open for the whole day but when we got there around 1pm and it was still closed. location is just good for people would like to walk along han river but it is a bit far for other places that you would like to find something to eat. you must take a taxi rather than just walking. there would be another thing that we were not happy is about breakfast. in our deal, breakfast is concluded but they did not serve buffet as mentioned, once checked in, we were requested to choose only one dish for breakfast and the dish was so bad to me.

Exceptional”
We stayed only 1 night but it was OK. I think it was the owner who greeted us and taught us how to open the power at the room. He was very accommodating and let us eat breakfast early because we were due to check out at 7am. Breakfast looked great even if we didn't get to eat much. Would have loved to stay longer because the location was excellent, just a short walk to the river boardwalk, cathedral, dragon bridge and cham museum, and many food options nesrby. We had a different room from the one pictured in booking but it was fine. Hotel has elevator and designed great.

Hotel near the river”
This hotel is located next to the Highlands Coffee shop, which is along the river. Google maps pins the hotel along the river, but it's actually on a side street next to Highlands Coffee. The room itself was decent. There's a restaurant right next door, but if you walk around the block there are many options for eating. There is a 24 hour K-Mart nearby in case you need to buy food after midnight.

no frills hotel with excellent location”
This hotel in right in downtown where you can feel the pulse of the city. For its price, it was beyond my expectation. It even provide breakfast which I would rate as good as compared to its room rate. However, I am a bit disappointed when some complaints that I forward to the hotel staff were not attended to. Nothing serious but I would have appreciated it very much if they look into it. Overall, it has been an enjoyable stay and I would stay there again if I make a trip there in future.

Clean a spacious hotel”
This was a quick stop-over for us and we enjoyed our stay their before flying out of Vietnam. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is a short walk away from a market and numerous restaurants. Try the local food at the first corner to the left of the main entrance. The food is great and the it is nIce to hang out with the locals - I was introduced to the local version of saki - my goodness !!

Helpful and friendly staff and management without exception, and hotel accommodation clean and adequate. Capacity for providing meals was very limited, and even breakfast was very scanty (though of good quality). A kettle for hot drinks in the room would be very welcome but was not available. The overall standard was good for a 2-star hotel, but compared with other comparable hotels, the room rate was relatively high

for the money we had paid for our stay at this hotel, it is definitely one of the most worthy ones we've encountered. although there is no lift (which is quite a hassle for older folks), the rooms were clean and space is sufficient. wifi is fast and most channels are available in the tv. all of us (10 persons) had little or no complaint for this hotel

This hotel is situated over the road from the riverside,very nice for an evening stroll,also nice local restaurant bar across the road for a cheap beer with the locals on the footpath. Hotel was clean and well presented,staff were very friendly and helpful,breakfast was average. Really enjoyed our stay here we liked this area more than the beach

Very good location you can walk only 1 min to Han river and 10 min to the dragon bridge and many restaurant or the coffee shop around the hotel other good thing is easy to find and not far away from danang airport ( only 10 min ) the room are big enougt ( ok for me ) and clean staff attentive to help you even they are not good Eng but however i will come back to stay this hotel again because i like the location

We chose for location which is great, price and photos seemed ok, it was on cheaper side but we took that as a Vietnam thing, accomodation isnt expensive here. We were allocated two rooms both didn’t have an outside window so both were pitch black. Only one light worked in the whole room and when we asked to fix they wouldn’t because of holiday and same for next day but we did read reviews about the lack of maintenance. So expected we wouldn’t get them fixed. Breakfast was part of the deal, I’m prepared to give anything a go but not this, it was terrible. To sum up it was a cheap hotel, very tired, not filthy but certainly not the cleanest, the staff were not terribly helpful, in comparison to all the other hotels we’ve stayed out. I don’t and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here

Terrible hotel. The weather in Da Nang is hot at the time I visited but when I enter into the reception area,it's very hot. No air - con. Staffs are very friendly and helpful

Good hotel location, but no atmosphere”
The hotel was fine. It was clean and comfy and had what we needed for a one night stay. We needed to be in the town center for one night only so this is really why we chose to stay here. The staff where more reserved than in other hotels in the area and the hotel itself felt a little empty. Considering it's location it could be a lot more enjoyable if they improved just a couple of things, namely the restaurant and the river view is virtually unused, spare a few unimaginative chairs and tables that seem to be unused. Overall it was a normal stay and a good nights sleep.
