Good room, enjoyable stay, good facilities”
we liked very much our stay at desa pelangi. the room is comfortable, very spacious, air-conditioned, all tools were in place. everything was acceptable. this is actually not a hotel, but an apartment block. people usually rent an apartment there for a longer period, but you can also stay there for a couple of days. it is not a 4- or 5-star hotel, so you cannot expect that kind of service. the swimming pool is very good. the supermarket is at a 5-10 minutes walking distance from desa pelangi. but it is large and good.

Relaxing and centrally located”
Stumbled on Desa Pelangi Condo via this site and thought it provided affordable and centrally located accommodation in Penang. After reading the reviews on this site (including the negative ones), I addressed those negative issues with the providers and they were happy to comply. There were 7 of us on a road trip and having 3 kids as part of the group made getting a larger place to fit us all in. The pool was a welcome relief in the late afternoon. I'd stay there again if I was heading up to Penang again and my needs were the same.

my family members like the stay in Desa Pelangi Condo as clean,comfortable and the room is big. The staff there is polite and their service is good. The more important is the location for the condo is very convenience to go anywhere in Penang as located at town area.

Very good condo with great location”
Me and my wife liked very much our stay at desa pelangi. the room is comfortable, very spacious, air-conditioned, all tools were in place and got Astro also. everything was acceptable. A perfect spot to stay if you really want to enjoy all of the famous Penang food in town. The strategic location is easy find and the price is among the best you could get in Georgetown and also have good security system which need to use smaet card to enter the condo.

Just came back to sleep at the Desa Pelangi Condo. The place is very clean and have a big space. Facilities are goods and the kids really enjoy their stay at this Condo. I will definately come back and stay at this palce and will strongly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Nice staying in Desa Pelangi”
The environment is nice and convenient as there is few food courts around and just need to walk there. There is also few marts and confectionery shops around. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and is effective. The issue will be settled once you reported. For example: one of the rooms I rented facing the air-con leaking issue, the maintenance came immediate once I reported the issue. However, there is some parts need to be improved:- 1. The heater in the bathing room is quite old, maybe can replace with a new one, and maybe can fix one pipe in the bathing room so that we can fill in water. 2. The wifi is slow and sometime cannot connect. 3. It is better to provide new towels for residents everyday. It is a wonderful and pleasant experience while staying in Desa Pelangi. My friends and I had a pleasant and nice trio in Penang. Thanks for everything provided.

when i stay in desa pelangi condo, i feel safe because the security 24 hour and it is a prive condo in penang. my car parking inside of condo. the swimming is normal, the internet is more slowly. and when i having problem for my bathroom, i call the service crew, they can settle the problem within 30min, service is great! they are very friendly and fast! i like the service in this condo!

Overall stay at this Condo was good. The location is not so far either to Georgetown or Gurney Drive. The Unit is well maintained, the Check in and Check out process was fast. The price is reasonable for 3 units condo facilities in Penang Island.

we booked the superior room for three nights. the condo has ample space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well equipped. the staff there were also pleasant and showed us places where we shouldn't miss on our trip to penang. we particularly liked the location as it is convenient and there are many eateries around.

Very Comfortable Stay”
My family and I (with school-going-children and the elderly) had a very comfortable stay. No problems with the bedrooms, kitchen, toilets, service balcony, balcony, living room. We could even do our own laundry. The staff (Wati) was friendly and provided efficient service. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and the condo unit was well-worth the price we paid.

Nice condo with greenery view ”
our family have 3 adult and 3 young children. we reached at desa pelangi condo by 5.30pm as we are travelled from kuala lumpur. as soon as we reached, a young lady with warm smiles welcomes us and handed over the key unit. to my surprises, i was informed that i need to pay for deposit. luckily i have cash in my handbag. the management should inform earlier that i need to pay deposit. overall we are satisfied stayed there for 3 nights as the unit is very clean, big and have a pleasant view from our unit.

A perfect spot to stay if you really want to enjoy all of the famous Penang food in town. The strategic location is easy find and the price is among the best you could get in Georgetown but we did find one of the air-con in the room is malfunction. Maybe need some maintenance.

Resonable Apartment”
The Apartment was clean and tidy, it has all the basics you would expect including free wi-fi. I assume all the apartments are very similar, mine had 3 bedrooms, which could sleep up to 5 adults. Very good value for money for large groups or families. There are currently building works in the street behind the Condos, this can be a bit noisy if you plan to stay in and take a nap during the daytime, but we were fine as we were away a lot during the day.

Service apartment with luxurious space.”
this is a great service apartment for a family holidaying in penang. it is situated in the city center and close to all the known local food havens. the interior of the apartment is spacious and furniture in reasonble condition. parking of car is not a problem at all and access to local tourist destinations convenient.

It is centrally located in town so it's convenient for us who goes to Penang for food. It is far from the beach and most of the sightseeing places. Th rooms are spacious and it's fully furnished. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel room is ok but washroom need a bit cleanup”
There are some light bulb which is worn out and need to be replaced. The washroom need some cleaning before moving in. All the bedrooms are ok. Living room and dining room are quite spacious. Walking distance to a few restaurant for food. This is condo, so do not have inhouse food or serve breakfast at coffee house.

Luxury apartment with Romantic environment”
The apartment location is not so good when you want go to Gurney or Bukit Bendera. Apartment environment is super romantic. The dinning table prepare with 4 sets of wine glass and napkin. They also prepare Astro and WiFi services for you. I really enjoyed it with my family. Will definitely consider it for my next Penang trip.
