"We attended the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh whilst there were so many other events on in the city - central Edinburgh was chaotic. Aynetree Guest House is in the perfect position to be away from the chaos but be only a short bus trip to the city... and the bus-stop's right outside the door! The guesthouse itself is lovely, great breakfast and our hosts were only too willing to help with advice and directions to get around Edinburgh."

"The location was great, only a 10-min walk to Holyrood Palace itself and a little further and we could reach the Royal Mile. It was nice to be able to stay at this big apartment at such a wonderful location. The welcome treat of chocolates and snacks was a bonus to kickstart our stay. There were DVDs for us to watch and books to read. It was great having a washing machine in the apartment as we were in the middle of our UK trip and needed to do some laundry. Overall, a very pleasant stay! "
