Nice and Clean Hotel ”
This hotel is nice and clean, however, make sure you check the drinks/ snack provided, take photo if you wish, as I was asked if I drink any beers from the room when checked out. They might missed some cans which I never touched also.

For bathroom, it would be better to have at least shower curtain. Otherwise, the floor gonna get wet badly n can slip. Recommend to have large bed room. I don’t really like about the room structure for twins beds room type. Twins bed room type look creepy for solo traveler.

This is a comfortable place, with privacy and hotel etiquettes. I've stayed here for more than two months, the staff is good and helpful. location is also comfortable with the cab you have access almost all Yangon. Myanmar plaza ( hub center for shopping, dining, clubbing is nearby 10mins and lost of nice pubs nearby for chill and relaxing. excellent place to stay. yup, one thing they don't have many vegetarian choices for lunch or breakfast else cool.

I wrote previously about this Hotel and the review was rather mixed, many positives and only one issue with regards to reception staff. After further traveling my family had to come back to Yangon for a period of about 12 days. So we gave the hotel a second chance. I am so glad we did. They took our suggestions and have put right our one issue. This may be a three star hotel, without a pool or gym but, trust me on this, for the money, this should be your only choice. Rooms are cleaned to International standards, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We also had the Sales Manager and Manager of the overall hotel speak to us in person. Both very kind and humble and pleased that we decided to stay for the rest of our trip at their hotel. If you stay in a Yangon, so many hotels have a “mould” smell, but not this one. Perhaps because it is slightly new or just the fact that it is so well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel, so please book and enjoy your stay.

Almost great; needs some improvements”
Since I stayed here only a few days after the hotel's opening, it was clear to me that the hotel has a lot of potential, but is still sorting a few things out. Pros: the bed was comfortable, the room (standard) was very large and clean, hot water was available most of the time. The breakfast and the room service & restaurant food is excellent. Cons: They are still working out a few things that would have helped me get a good night sleep (thicker curtains, a TV that doesn't switch on in the middle of the night, good pillows, etc). The staff are very eager to help, but sometimes the service is a little overwhelming rather than helpful. I think most of these cons will sort themselves out in the coming weeks and months. Despite the lack of sleep for the reasons mentioned (and having a room across the elevator), the highlight of my stay was the delicious Burmese curry (great menu and reasonably priced food) and an amazing hair wash (Burmese style) at the beauty salon across the street. If I had friends visiting Yangon, I would recommend they stay in a more central location because of traffic, but if you have to be in or near Yankin, this hotel is not a bad choice, and will hopefully soon be a great choice.

Be warned - reception staff can be very rude”
Now that I have your attention, I would like to add further comments. Not all reception staff are rude, just one male staff member who was there to so call greet us upon arrival and say thank you for staying with us on the way out, which he did neither. My wife (Myanmar) and I were just looking for one night to check out the hotel before deciding on staying for several days after another trip we have planned to Bagan and Mandalay. He may have cost the hotel our business. When we arrived to check out rooms he told us that there were no rooms available even though on Agoda it said there were rooms. He added that if we booked on Agoda we would not actually have a room to sleep in. That was ridiculous. Imagine if we had booked and had not been able to visit prior to our stay. Further more he was arrogant and very impolite. Staff working later that evening were much more what you would expect. In the end we booked through Agoda to avoid the crazy Myanmar system of Foreigners pay a different rate. This always amazes me. In the end he had no choice but to upgrade us to the a superior room but reminded my wife it would is not their policy and he shouldn’t be doing it. In my view, this should not have been up for discussion. If we book via a main agent like Agoda, I and others expect to have an actual room, not be told we can’t stay with no way of receiving a refund. Now for the hotel itself: very clean and tidy. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. My wife had breakfast and said their was sufficient variety. The Door staff /bell boy were very helpful and polite. Such a shame that your first impression was the receptionist we dealt with. Very off putting. We can’t even use language as a reason for it, my wife is Burmese as is my son! As mentioned earlier we were hoping to stay for approximately a week to ten days after our next trip but now we are considering other hotels.

The complementary bottles of water were great and the staff was always helpful. Breakfast was not good at all and the coffee was terrible.
