"The staff there are very friendly and they are the best staff you can ever see. Hotel are opposite to the main train station (Munich Hauptbahnhof) where you can see the train station from your room window. The room are very clean but it's a little bit small. However you still have a good space for office table with its chair. Each room has only one key which is a normal key (Not a magnetic card). Its price are very good compared to its location and the price of other hotels in Munich. Overall it's a very good hotel and I recommend it."

"The hotel is conveniently located 5 mins walk to the Munich Main Train Station (Huftbahnhof). Apart from easy connections to nearby cities, you can also travel to Salzburg using the Full Day ‘Bayern’ Train Ticket for up to 5 persons including kids below 14. Plenty of takeaway food shops and supermarket (closes at 11pm)at basement level to get drinks and Asian takeaway stir fry. There is also Burger King and Macdonalds opened 24 hours. Shops are Open Everyday. Hotel has a small swimming pool which is free to use and sauna which costs €5. Choose the rooms with bathtub to soak after Long day of walking. Only thing for me is that they did not provide kettle and room noise insulation from the common corridor was poor. Also the pillows were too flat. Windows can open for ventilation and staff were friendly and professional. Offered 2 Breakfast options - continental €.9.50 and buffet €24 for adults and kids eat for free. Anyway extensive breakfast options available at the train station. "

"We had a fabulous time in Munich. Hotel was perfect, great location for travelling around the city and also it had all mod cons. Staff were very helpful, friendly and couldn't have done anymore for us. Breakfast was amazing, spoilt for choice. I would looting return again. Great Italian restaurant up the road too."

"Excellent Stay!!!! This hotel is absolutely fantastic. Super clean and the location is so close to the train station, it makes it a breeze to travel Munich. The breakfast was unbelievable good as well. Can't believe how much food they had. Everything was so nice and the staff were very professional and kind. Spoke English as well. We would definitely be staying here again next time in Munich! Thank you Hotel Rivoli for making my first time in Munich wonderful!!"

"Cheapest hostel in Munich during Oktoberfest. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Except my last night, but i highly suspect it was destroyed by the new people who checked in. Towels were thrown everywhere on the toilet floor and a bag of rubbish was left on the toilet floor too. however be warned. If you get allocated to the rooms that face the construction (will start early morning at 7am) and the outdoor sitting area (drunk people will gather there and talk at the top of their voices until 3am). it really is up to your luck. my first stay was on the other side of the building which the only noises are trains passing by, and oktoberfest had not started yet. had a good night then."

"My family and I stayed at The Ambiance Rivoli for three nights and it was a delightful experience. In particular the concierge, Herr Thomas was wonderful: helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The breakfast was sumptuous. The location was perfect for us, close to Marienplatz but with enough distance for us to get a different view of the city. The rooms were tastefully decorated, the bathroom in particular was very pleasant. And the best part was the price! You get a lot of bang for your buck. All in all we had a brilliant stay and we cannot recommend enough"

"I stayed here 2 nights for my business trip. Hotel was located opposite the Munich main train station which is very convenience for transportation. 10 mins walk to the main area for shopping. No question about the service of their staff, very helpful and friendly. Room is not so big but it's very comfortable. The highlight is the naked bathroom (recommend to stay with wife/girlfriend). Breakfast is not so much choice of food and average of taste. Some staff in this restaurant is not so friendly. There are many restaurants and fast food around this hotel. Overall are very good. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Munich and would rate this hotel 8.5/10."
