Friendly faces everywhere”
Fleur De Chine is located at the famous sun moon lake, it's an hour's drive from everywhere else. So, basically you are stucked in the hotel you stayed. Luckily this one is very well equip, will nice generously sized pool areas consisting of lap pools, children pools and jacuzzi. It is also a great choice if you are traveling with kids, their playroom is quite impressive too. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the spread in the buffet is fantastic. Overall will definitely recommend it to friends.

Fresh air and beautiful lake”
It was a good experience at Fleur de chine hotel. Staffs were friendly and helpful. View of lake is beautiful during the day esp during winter when is cold. The room is spacious w balcony. There is a hot tub with spring water in your own toilet too. There is a huge entertainment level for the whole family, games, gym, hot springs, hydro pools, sauna, lap pool, kids pool. For those who do not like hiking you can stay indoor and enjoy the facilities. The breakfast and dinner buffet spread is huge, lots of organic vegetables too. They provide once a day pickup from HSR Taichung at 2pm. You may arrange with hotel before you arrive. Drop off at HSR will be 12pm daily which takes around 50 mins to 1 hour ride.

Fleur de Chine is a very supreme hotel located nearby Sun Moon Lake. The staff provide excellent service in any way. The food in all the restaurants is very tasty and fresh. You can walk, bike or take a tour shuttle to go around the lake. We had a very relaxing vacation.

We were very pleased with the free bus service provided by the hotel to take us from Taichung high speed rail station to Fleure De Chine. It was very convenient and efficient as all check in were done while on the bus, which saved check in time. We also liked the personal touch where the staff took us to our room and personally went through the amenities in the room. Staff responded very quickly when asked about specific programs/trips recommended by the hotel We had the chinese set dinner. Wonderful meal, food was yummy. However service needs improvement. Each course was served separately, but staff did not wait for us to finish the food in our plate and just continued to put the next dish in front of our plates. Service always seemed messy. Food and beverage services seems to require some improvement... Hotel staff is very helpful. All are always smiling and eager to help.

Excellent 5 star service hotel”
We travelled in a group of 4 and stayed in the lake view two queen bed room. The view of Sun Moon Lake from the room is magnificent. We used most of hotel facilities. I really enjoyed the Water World;the hydrotherapy pool and the hotspring. The price comes with the choice of dinner; Chinese or International. We selected International Buffet and it was good. The sky lounge is also nice. But all in all, what impressed us the most is the quality of service. The hotel staff is very helpfull.

We took a bullet train from Taipei to an overnight stay at Taichung. Not much to do there but the night market was great. It took 11/2 hours by taxi to sun Moon Lake. It costs $200twn. Sun Moon Lake is a beautiful place matched by a gorgeous hotel. Unfortunately I only booked for one night. We wished that we could stay longer.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and only a few steps to the beautiful Sun Moon Lake. Service is superb. My friend is having birthday and the hotel offered a free birthday cake at midnight. All staff are friendly with smiles on their faces.

Fantastic view hotel with a smile”
when we step in the hotel was very posh 6start look, was welcome with their super friendly staff and welcome drinks. check-in was shift. we were escorted to our rooms with their staff explaining everything in this hotel. each room comes with their private hot spring bathtub. room view was breathtaking, you get to see the whole lake very impress. dinner having an option to choose buffet or 8 course chinese meal we chose the chinese meal. the dinner was good "not for shark lovers" as they serve shark's fin. hotel can arrange few program for tour around the lake do check with them. their spa was good too.

Absolutely Beautiful Lake View”
The hotel is slightly worn along the edges but the cleanliness is good, just that its definitely not new. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the price of the room does really justify it. We stayed in a Japanese styled room with lake view. The room ambience and the lake view matched perfectly, making us feel like we were in Japan. The staff tried their very best to be accomodating and offered great service but the hotel was very full, thus we had to line up for some time for the buffet dinner which was a little odd considering the extravagant price that we paid for. Nevertheless the hotel did their best, and they even had an excellent band performance.

Family trip ”
This is the second time we stay at this hotel. We came back because the view from hotel room is stunning (either mountain or lake view), and service is exceptionally good with very polite staff in general. In addition, the hotel comes with private onsen bath in the room in addition to the usual public ones. The buffet is also good. Spa is also good. We will definitely come back again soon. However, I hope the below can be improved: Bathroom appears to have some mouldy spots. Given the private bath concept, I think the bathroom cleanliness can be improved. Also we have 4 people in the room, so toiletries should be provided for up to 4 people. Buffet (breakfast and dinner) - perhaps can consider changing a bit of the main course day to day.

nice room and great view but not so great location”
It's ashamed that we went all the way to sun moon lake, but we couldnt do much because the hotel was out of the way, and they didn't provide any sorts of transportation except a shuttle bus to the train station (once a day) or to the boat ride (twice a day). We wanted to explore more the land, but we couldnt because of this reason. there was also no sight of taxis, and the hotel couldnt really provide with the information either, because of the language barrier. and so we had a massage at the spa, and it was good.

Good resort hotel at Sun Moon Lake”
Family room is spacious with enough room for 4 people to stay together comfortably. Facility (indoor pool, sauna) was good. Food was good but not particularly memorable. Overall a good choice when visiting Sun Moon Lake.

The view is very nice that we lived in a room with Sun Moon Lake view. The dinner buffet included is good, much kind of food but the taste is not good as expected. I will recommend my friends who looking for good service hotel, but the price is relatively high when compare with other hotels within the vicinity.

Expansive, but my money is well spent. The room is clean and roomy with the Japanese style built-in hot sprint tub. You will have a beautiful lake view from pretty much all th lakeside rooms. Your fun is not going to be downgraded even if you stay in a mountain side room because the gorgeous lake view is everyehere. The buffet needs improvement. I recommend the Chinese Restaurant (more like a fusion style) across from the buffet place for dinner. It offers the most elegant dinning experience I have ever had. An excellent team of young men and young women works so hard to serve its patrons. There are so many customer service personals, and they are eager to serve. Their professionalism is a rare found. BRAVO!
