This hotel in Ueno area offers easy access to Ueno, Keisei Skyliner, and Iriya Stations. The staff is highly commended for their exceptional service and eagerness to assist guests. I traveled with my parents for 3 nights and 4 days and stayed comfortably without any inconvenience. I've been to Japan a few times, and I was quite satisfied with this hotel in terms of price and convenience. According to travel reviews, it's said to be quite far from the station, but despite my father's leg discomfort, I didn't feel it was too difficult or far. Taking a taxi to nearby tourist attractions like Asakusa only costs about 1,000 yen, which is great. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, so we had to go to the station for areas like Ameyoko which have a lot of food options, which was a little disappointing. However, there are about three convenience stores nearby, and even if it's a bit far, there's a local mart where it's nice to stock up on cheap late-night snacks like bento for dinner. Above all, there’s a Korean restaurant right across the street, which can be a good alternative if my parents are picky about food while traveling. Many business hotels have dust piled in corners or stained areas, but I didn't see any of that, and the cleaning was done regularly. However, since the hotel and the entire area are non-smoking, smokers might have a bit of a hard time. The amenities include a free coffee machine, microwave, and hot water dispenser in the lobby, which are standard for a business hotel, and there are vending machines and a laundry service, but I haven’t used them, so I don't know. The attitude of the staff was good, and they even turned on a translator to communicate, but the afternoon counter staff was a bit disappointing. They weren't unfriendly or impolite but seemed not very proactive in helping. Other than that, I stayed without any major issues or complaints. I recommend it.
This small hotel is friendly, well located to Ueno Station, and many lovely local cafes and restaurants, shops and a local Onsen. I forgot my travel wallet behind in my room, and called the hotel from Australia. The staff found it and arranged tp return it to me without fuss. So professional. The beds are super comfortable and the duvets warm and soft. Great sleeps. Morning sunlight in the bathroom is lovely, and the walk in shower doesn’t require an Olympic athletic hurdling exercise in the morning like many other hotels.
Very near to many train station. Going here you need to be at Ueno Station then 3rd floor Iriya Exit. You will see signage above just follow it and you will arrive at Ueno Hotel. Just 15 minutes walk to Ueno Hotel and 10-15 minutes walk to Keisei Skyliner going to Narita Terminal 1,2 & 3. Not that expensive because it is around Tokyo. They will clean your room at no extra charge. Just the staff are not accommodating because we want to eat at the dining and said to us that they are cleaning already. So we eat at our room. Overall this is okay. Just the attitude of the other staff is not nice. But i will gladly recommend it for the location. Thank you.
Good. Price point is quite low. Location is great, very near the ueno station, in particular iriya exit. Close to the park. Great eateries nearby, from sushi to yakitori to unajyu. Hotel was clean and efficient. Cons. Amenities within the hotel were not great, no kettle in room. Needed to go down to the lobby regularly even for some water. The dryers were run for an hour on a small load and didn't dry laundry. Bidet water wasn't hot. Overall: Location is lovely, check-in and out process was smooth and efficient, just some small amenities were lacking in the hotel. But would still recommend it for its location and cleanliness.

“Has everything that we needed for our stay”
A clean room, enough space, a comfortable bed, water heater and air conditioner. These were all we needed for our stay in Japan which we spent most of the time outside the hotel anyway. The staff was really kind to keep our luggage for us while we went around Tokyo since it was still too early to check-in. They also did the same for us, keeping our luggage for us after we checked out for our final day in Japan. We picked up our bags a few hours before our flight. Of course there is a bit of language barrier but nothing that can't be overcome by a bit of patience. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room had stable wifi and there was free coffee from the lobby bar. The place is at least 10 minutes away from the Ueno station so be prepared to do some walking. There are some hotels closer to the station but until we find somewhere else with better experience, we'll default to staying at Ueno Hotel.
