to all major attractions and famous streets. The hotel was clean, well-organized, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The locals were warm and welcoming, which made the whole trip even more special. Truly a memorable experience in every way!

“Exceptional”
Fantastic Stay We had a fantastic stay at this property in Edinburgh. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the city's attractions, close to Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, and Princess street, especially very close to a restaurant (Makars Mash Bar) which serve the traditional Scotland dishes-like Haggis, slow cooked lamb leg, very delicious. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities provided were great, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. (Only thing was, maybe they don't want to block the beautiful city view outside our window, they didn't have window curtain in bath room, we asked a bed sheet as the temporary curtain in order to take a shower. ) The housekeeping service was excellent. The hot water in the bathroom was consistent, they even have the hot rail for towel, making the towel always warm-but be careful, the rail was very hot. We had a peaceful sleep each night, thanks to the comfortable beds and quiet surrounding. Overall, we highly recommend this property for a wonderful stay in Edinburgh.

“Excellent location at the edinburgh old town”
Hotels are expensive in Edinburgh but frasee suite makes up for its excellent location on the old town. Close to food and shopping. Rooms are a bit old and you may need to go down a short flight of stairs to go to your room. They serve basic breakfast innthe morning. Female Staff was lovely to pack our breakfast as we have to go to loch ness day tour early morning on 5 may. We appreciate it.

“Too many staircases and housekeeping need improvement”
1. When we checked-in, the reception told us that our room is at 7th floor. The lift stopped at level 6 and we have to climb 8 flight of staircase to get to 7th floor. However, the actual was that when arrived at level 6, you will need to take the staircase down for 8-9 steps, then climb up another staircase for 22 steps to reach level 7. We have 2 big and 1 medium luggage, so it was very difficult for us to handle. No staff assist on luggage. We felt that the reception has misrepresented to us. 2. Next, there were 2 wasps flying around the bedroom to welcome us. We called the reception for help and was told they do not have any insect repellent and need to check if they have something else. After half an hour, the staff returned with a newspaper to hit the wasps. The staff initially claimed that we might have opened the window thereby allowing the wasps to enter. However, we explained that we just entered the room and did not open any window, he further investigated and told us that there was wasp nest outside our window and advise us not to open the window. 3. We had power tripped on subsequent nights, due to hair dryer and microwave. The staff initially claimed that we might plugged in our own equipment that might have resulted in the power trip. However, we did not plug in any own equipment. When their hair dryer was plugged in, it immediately caused a power tripped, the staff then admit that it was their hair dryer that caused the power tripped. 4. On the last day when we wanted to call a Uber cab to the airport, the reception advised that we should take a taxi instead as it is more spacious and was a fixed rate of 35 pound as compared to Uber of 31 pound. The reception then helped us to arranged for the taxi. However, when we reached the airport, we were charged 52.77 pound instead. We felt that the reception has misrepresented again.

“Amazing location and room”
The room itself is great and spacious. There's even facilities to cook if you don't want to eat out every day. The location could not be more perfect, you walk and take a left and you're in front of St Giles' Cathedral. You're less than 10 minutes away from any main attraction in Edinburgh. It's a great place if you like to visit places or just like wandering around, because it's so close to attractions you'll eventually stumble into something of significance. The only issue I had was that the cleaning was inflexible, we were out the whole day and our room hadn't been made and when we came back for a half hour break before leaving, then the cleaning came and we asked if they could come in half an hour and they just straight up said no. So we just didn't get the room cleaned. That was the only negative interaction, the reception was great (when asked for a late check-out, they gave us one extra hour complimentary which was perfect for what we needed) and we didn't feel rushed out at all. Bed was comfortable. The price considering how convenient it is and the quality of the room is absolutely worth it. Perfect place for a couple's trip to Edinburgh.
