."Lovely hotel and service with a smile"”
dear friends, this was the first time for me to singapore, i received a warm welcome by the owner. i was having many thinking’s about the hostel that how its going to be, but, finally it was like my home and was treated like a family. this place was very neat and clean beyond my expectation. you get free breakfast, 24hrs tea & coffee, and especially night you get free chocolates and a glass of drink...hahahha..this place is located jus 4 mins walk from boon keng mrt station and 8 mins walk from mustafa shopping mall. i stayed there for 10 days. i would love to come again on my next visit to singapore. thanks to the management of gap year hostel(home).

Best Place to stay... Good Service, Very Fast Internet, Clean Room, Near MRT, Near Shopping Malls, Near Restorans... And very very Cheaper... you cannot find such a place for this cheaper price... I enjoy staying there.... This was my second trip to Singapore.. Previous trip i stayed i this place for more than 10 days due to all above reasons... Nex month planned to go to Singapore with my Girl friend.. surely will stay in GAP YEAR Hostel.. Cheers to GAP YEAR HOSTEl Management.

One of the best Hostel i've ever been to”
Gap Year Hostel is just very good. The staff is very friendly. I even accidently broke a tea mug but the staff said it's cool and don't worry ^^ The room is a bit narrow but i don't mind at all since i only wanted a place to sleep. There are two toilets with shower. I think the staff should clean the toilets more frequently because of some bad-mannered guess. above all, i think Gap Year hostel is definitely my first choice when i come back singapore

This was my 2nd trip to Singapore. I stayed in Gap Year Hostel for the this time too. coz the previous trip i stayed for more than 10 days, and this place was so nice to stay, always clean and good service, very fast internet and cheaper... Next month i have planned a trip with my girlfriend surely i will stay here. Cheers for the Gap Year Hostel Management.

Gap year hostel is a very nice place to stay. Have a value of money, very cheap. The staff is very accommodating. I will recommend it to by friends. And it is near with a train station that can access where ever you go in singapore.

“Not so many gaps, a good hostel in Singapore””
Arrived here past midnight on the 18th of March 2017. This is located some 3 - 5 minute walk from Boon Keng MRT Station. The hostel is on Lavender Street. This street has some a few other hostels as well. Upon arriving, the guy at the reception was so kind enough to take me in and show me the room. I had a 4 bunk room. Took a lower bunk. The AC was working well as well as the ceiling fan. The hostel is clean and organized and they serve simple breakfast of toasted bread and coffee/tea. Wifi is super fast as well. Would love to go back there in case I am in Singapore. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo

Excellent”
Basic but clean hostel. Only two showers / toilets at the ground floor which was at times inconvenient, but normal for hostels in this price range. Beds were good, lighting is broken in some parts but will be fixed. Alice tried hard to make sure my stay was a comfortable one. Also worth mentioning that the lobby is like a living room, making it easy to meet other travellers. Many other hostels in this price range do not have this.

suitable place for low budget traveler”
If you are a traveler w/ low budget, u can choose this hostel as your place to stay in Singapore. Hostel location is near bus stop, just walk around 10 meter from hostel to bus stop. And its near MRT too ( Boon Keng MRT), just walk around 200m to the MRT from the hostel. The room is comfortable enough for me.. they have 2 bathroom, so sometimes, in the crowded time, u will need to wait in queue but its still bearable to me.. the staffs are helpful too, so i have no problem while stay here.

This hostel has pretty much what you need. It's clean, quiet, staffs are friendly, there's a free breakfast. I don't mind if it's just a bread (with 3 options for spread) and unlimited coffee. I mean, for a budget hostel I don't expect much so freebies are very much appreciated. There are MRT station about few minutes away, there's Boon Keng and Bendemeer. There's also a 24-hr hawker in lavender street (i think) just few blocks away. The only thing though is when I requested for a lower bed of the bunk bed they confirmed it but when I got there I still had the upper bed. I think it's best if they told me earlier at least. Overall, this is hostel more than what I expected. Brian is friendly and accommodating. Glad to meet people from around the world and have a chitchat over coffee while there.

Ok hostel but I bit overpriced ”
The hostel is close to two subway station and a shopping mall what is great but the installations are really simple and not really clean. Really nice staff and the breakfast was good too (toast with butter or Nutella and instant coffee) I know Singapore is more expensive but I felt the quality of the place dint justify the price they ask for it.

Budget Hostel”
The location is near in the train station (less than 3mins walk), with a free breakfast (bread, spread and coffee) from 7am to 10am 😊 Also, the hosts are very friendly, they even give you tips on where you can find very cheap goods/items. The only downside is their common toilet/comfort room, because you need to wait. But all in all, it’s a good place where you can rest after the whole day of roaming around Singapore

Affordable price”
I stayed here for 4 night with private room for 6 people. The service is good but only lack in the number of bathroom and the location of bathroom (which is outside the bedroom). They dont have room with bathroom inside. They provide toast and jam for breakfast, good wifi,spacious and comfy lobby if u need to do some discussion with your friends, a computer, nice staff, very close to boon keng station and bus station, and a restaurant at the right of the hostel. Overall i am satisfied with the services considered to the price.

This is my first time staying in this hostel. A first really worried about the cleanliness. But this hostel really over my expectation. The toilets are clean and thrive bedroom also clean and tidy. Very easy to find and nearby MRT too. Their staffs are friendly too. Will visit this place next time.

Clean Room,Strategic Location”
The entire hostel was so clean. There is shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Self service breakfast with unlimited bread. Near boonkeng MRT station only 5 minutes walk, and bus station right outside the hostel.
