We were very happy with our stay here, staff were tremendously helpful & so friendly. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with some Burmese food options. The coconut pancakes were amazing. Our room was spacious & clean with good air conditioning and the shower was the best we’ve had so far in Myanmar. Rooms towards the rear of the hotel are nice & quiet. We hired a motorcycle through the hotel at a very reasonable price & explored all the local caves & temples. The countryside around Hpa-an is stunning. This place is a great base for a few days. My only suggestion would be some nice coffee at breakfast instead of sachets of Nescafé on the table to prepare yourself.

Outstanding ”
We arrived early in the morning and the hotel staff let us check in early and have us breakfast which was really kind. All the staff are really helpful, and the hotel manager is exceptional. He was really helpful when I lost my phone and drove us to the bus stop so we wouldn’t miss our connection. The room and the whole hotel was really clean and modern. The hotel has motorbikes to rent and can arrange tuk tuks for the day and the staff will help you plan where to go. All in all a great hotel with great staff!

Great hotel with large rooms, clean and everything you need. Good location in centre of town for shops and food. Staff were extra helpful and very friendly. They helped me book my bus ticket. Good breakfast.

We had a nice, big room. Breakfast was good and there is the opportunity to rent an (old) motorbike. Be aware that the bikes are for the day, not 24 hours. We got charged extra after handing in the bike the next morning.

A disaster”
The superior rooms are heading a very close wall - approx half meter. There are many AC boxed on the wall, so you're gonna listen to the loud horrible sound all night, because there are spaces around the windows, so no sound isolation. It seems their strategy is to try to give you the worst room and be very resistant when you complain. During my stay I met couple of people who got lower class than booked (superior instead of deluxe). I myself changed the room twice. First time I got a horrible ground floor with big space under the door, very noisy, because the corridor lead to garrage and people were going there and back and shouting all the time! Second room was better but very noisy from the surrounding AC units and AC of next building - couldn't sleep well. The next day I was promised to get different room, but (long story short) the manager told me he forgot and gave it to someone else. Then I was told he always forgets everything. The staff is very confused, chaotic and obviously get complaints about rooms all the time. Breakfast was good. Rooftop terrace is nice, but in very bad shape. They have tons of unused chairs and tables stacked on one place inside, why not to clean the terrace and put them there for the guests? Location is average, loud street, calm at night. Breakfast is good. I wouldn't come back, totally not worth the money.

Very late check-in,rooms were not ready.”
We booked 4 double rooms but upon arrival the staff tried to convince us to take 2 rooms per four people. We did not agree as we had 3 people feeling really sick. They were only able to give us two rooms, one of them was not even clean! For the additional two rooms we waited until late evening and were terrible, dirty, noisy , located next to the hotel garage, eventhough they suppossed to be deluxe. The staff was extremely unfriendly, not taking responsibility for their mistake as the rooms should be prepared on time for the check-in and in the way we booked it online.

Encore mieux qu’on imaginait”
Étonnant de trouver un hôtel de cette qualité au cœur de Hpa-an. Il y a d’abord eu confusion au sujet de la chambre que nous avions réservée (elle ne correspondait pas aux caractéristiques de l’annonce en ligne), mais le personnel a vite accepté de nous en donner une autre plus lumineuse au 5e étage. Chambre propre, bon lit, bon système de clim, excellent petit déjeuner. Possibilité de louer des scooters en bon état à bon prix (8 000 MMK) par jour. Bref, nous avons été bien satisfaits, 5 étoiles à tous les niveaux.
