Great surprise!!!”
I found cheap room on Agoda in Da Nang hotel on the beach for less than $12 per night. I was expecting some basic accommodations in run down facility. To my surprise I found myself for 8 nights in one of the nicest budget place that I've ever been to. Hotel is fairly new and kept very clean. Has restaurant that serves meals all day. Is located across the street from the beach. There is many other places to eat or drink right next to it. The is a room for motorbikes to park overnight inside. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Receptionist speaks fairly English. I've had a room on forth floor with no view, but there was a balcony at the end of hall were you could sit and enjoy amazing view of the city and Danang Bay. There is an elevator in the building. Room itself.... WOW!!! Great bathroom all in ceramic tiles, very clean. Shower has a curtain so you don't splash water all over the floor. Nice, shiny white towels, something that you not expect in this price range. Room has very pretty furniture, refrigerator, large flat screen TV (I mean large), very comfy bed and nice décor. Good speed Internet in the room and great TV programming choices will keep you entertained during siesta hours. This hotel is a great value for the money and certainly deserves more than one star. That was enjoyable week in Da Nang.

Comfortable and affordable on a backpackers budget”
Very nice affordable hotel. Friendly staff. Nice clean rooms with big tvs. Only downside is agoda says 'great location' firstly the location shown on the agoda map is wrong and so we had to spend quite a lot on taxis getting to different places, so not such a great location. Very nice beach and view of da nang bay across the road however.

Hotel OK, location good for swimming”
We came here mainly for the Beach. For this reason it is well located, just a few meters away from Beach. Beach was a little dirty. There were mainly Vietnamese people on the Beach and in the whole area, so we were a real attraction. In all the Restaurants nearby they only have menus in Vietnamese. It was quite hard to order food, as the Vietnamese there also hardly speak english, but it worked anyhow ;) The Hotel itself only serves breakfast, which was very good and cheap. Unfortunately they didnt serve us dinner although they had dinner on the menu..

Nice budget hotel by the beach”
The hotel itself is big and comfortable. Owners are kind and helpful. We booked the family room with view but you can just walk across the road to the beach. Beach have nice sand but nothing much else on this stretch. Food was a challenge, not the lack of it but in terms of ordering, as they do not have English menu or speak much English. We randomly picked 3 dishes and 2 soup dishes came, although it's both nice. Beer is super cheap in Vietnam, almost the cost of drinking water.

The lady on the checkin counter was exceptionally helpful, she arranged for us to get the baggage allowance through our travel agent in Saigon, she even arranged transfer of funds to Saigon. A pleasant hotel, good bed and clean room, nice big bathroom. Value for money

Nice room but several huge downsides”
The bedsheets and floors were very clean. However, as the hotel is situated along the coastal road that is home to many outdoor restaurants, cockroaches are a big problem (not a fault of the hotel as much as the location). Shame too because the room, while small, was very nice. The panoramic roofttop views are stunning as well. We stayed just one night as we had to kill two large cockroaches. The staff is kind and it appears they do community outreach, so if cockroaches don't bother you, this place is ok.

I arrived late. Hotel was further from train station than I thought based on the Agoda map. Explored the city the next day and went to bed early. Next day I left.

Great value for the money. Right on the beach. Get a room on the front with an ocean view. Well worth the few extra dollars. Staff was delightful. Their kids were around at night and loved speaking english to us. Breakfast was included but we slept in so I cant speak t o that. Nice. Would stay again

Vietnamese immersion Crash Course ”
This is where Vietnamese people go on holiday. It's directly across the road from a pretty stretch of beach, and night it's not a bad deal. But be aware that theroom has no air con, only a fan, and the one window faces a wall. The proprietor speaks very little English so you'll need your Googke Translate. I arrived in time for dinner and he pointed me in the direction of the closest (only) restaraunt about 590 meters down the street. It was a true Vietnamese bia hoi little chair eatery where I was the only non Vietnamese person there. The menu had lots of choices but it was all in Vietnamese. After about a half hour trying frantically with Google translate to decipher the text, I just pointed to any random thing and hoed for the best. I was brought a nice plate of peppered shrimp and it was delicious! Back to the hotel, they have a cafe that is open for breakfast. The food was meh but the waiter spoke reasonable English, although the coffee situation was a bit different. There's really not much else close by but the beach. I only stayed one night and then moved on to Hoi An.

you get what you paid for the hotel is fairly new and the rooms are relatively clean however their blanket doesn't have a cover, which mean you are using the blanket together with other guests ... not clean.
