Best hotels & accommodations in Phu Quoc Island

my lan guest house is located on one of the best beaches of phu quoc island, bai sao beach. my lan lies almost at the center of a small inlet facing south; the green hills on the back makes it a natural shelter from the rest of the island. it's a great location if you're seeking some isolation from the other main beaches and resorts of phu quoc. there were few visitors...

Second leg of my journey here in Vietnam, in the South Island of Phu Quoc and what an excellent decision indeed. At first I was given a two bed room accommodation, but due to neighbouring construction, I requested to move to other rooms, so what the heck I tried the single bungalow and one deluxe room for the full six nights stay....both rooms are really spacious for ...

I found it expensive for what we got, but Phu Quoc isn’t cheap. It wAs 30$ can. Per night. We had two beds, a fridge, a tv, a balcony, clean bathroom, etc. It was so clean. Staff were constantly cleaning the building. Location is the best part. Close to night market, beach access across the street, close to cheap restaurants, bars, etc. Kind of loud in the am we had ro...

Great service, it's equal to a five star hotel. You won't disappoited to choose it for your trip. The owner is very friendy, helpful. He gave us many benificial information about phu quoc(food, transportion, sightseeing..). The bungalows are very new. If you arrive in phu quoc, son vinh guest house is the best choice

This place is so beautiful. Love the beautiful hut and they even provide hairdryer. The drinking water bottle is chargeable. Tried their breakfast (not included) and love it too. There's a small store outside that we stopped by every night to get our junk food. It is walking distance to some restaurants/ cafes too. You definitely need to get taxi to go city centre (abo...

We had a pleasant stay at Phu Quoc An Guesthouse. For three of us we booked the family room with three beds (two queens and one single/full) and it didn't disappoint in size: there was more than enough space for us to spread out. Would have been nice to have a triple room option with three singles (and a lower price to reflect the lower maximum occupancy), but this roo...

Ngoc Qui is close to town. It's off the main road, so quiet, but close to lots to do. Wifi good. No restaurant, but there are several within walking distance. Staff were very helpful, above and beyond the call of duty, twice, when I was in transit from Phu Quoc to Kep, Cambodia. A caution: if you make a booking, make sure you get some sort of ticket/record. I will happ...

We booked for a double room, but were upgraded to a family room when arrived. So the space was plenty for us two girls. The room was not heavily decorated, but had everything you should ask for in a 3* hotel. Each room was like a separated bungalow, lining up among all exotic kinds of plant in the well-managed garden. Very few insects though - apart from mosquitoes, bu...

This is the best experience that we have. The little guest house owner is so nice. First, she is so friendly and helpful (You can ask her for anything). Second, she guided us to go around the island with calm, patient as our long time friend. Third, She also help and offer us the best tours for squid fishing and coral diving. Next, She also allowed us to have a small pa...

Both me and my girlfriend were very thankful for the service we received while staying at the Guest House. Though a little far away from town and the beaches, we both had a wonderful time and thought the guest house was great value for money. We rented a scooter directly from the guesthouse for 6 days at a good rate and zoomed around town without much concern. They als...

We arrived to Phu Quoc planning to stay 1 night only, but after meeting Mr. Lam and his family, the island experience just kept getting better and we didn't leave until the very end of our vacation. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, clean and neat. We woke up rested and relaxed each morning, ate a delicious breakfast (fried eggs with vietnamese bread and fre...

Family owned , will help with motorcycle for cheap , don't expect to much as price tells , but when your out all day you have a bed at night ... Nice people and good location Rory's is the bar to go to on the the beach so spend what you save there on accommodation .. Honest people , no frills , explore the island from there

We understand the hotel is quite cheap in Phu Quoc, however still it should not be so bad. There is no glass for the toilet window, so there are lots of mosquitos in the room. The toilet is very dirty. They almost never cleaned our room. The staffs there are all very young and not professional. We stayed in cheaper hotel in Siem Reap and it was much better than this on...

We found this place by accident and loved it. The location is excellent, off the beaten path (and off the beach) but the beach is only a 5-minute walk away. It's quiet, well maintained, includes good breakfast, and is close to several good (and cheap) restaurants. The staff is friendly and extremely responsible.

Ok - straight to the point: So far 50 reviews and 8,4 score - could you go wrong!? Yess - if you are looking for something chic and shiny, boutique and stylish, new and higher class - this property is not for you. Go for the French alternative that is just next door. Cay Co - or - The Palm Tree is all about the feeling and atmosphere of very clean and well maintained P...

i had a fantastic stay at phu quoc peace resort, incredible hospitality, friendly staff, great food and just a very welcoming place. however if your looking for a place right on the beach with hot water and 5 star amenities then this isn't your place! but, if you're looking for a clean good room, friendly staff, good food and a great time in a family run place then loo...

we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again only for longer,we booked a week,as we were going onto nah trang for 2 weeks and then Saigon, but we realised a week wasn't long enough to get around this beautiful island, just hope the developers treat it kindly as the signs are its about to take off as a major resort,we were surprised how lovely this place turned out to ...

Sim Spa Hotel excist on his own for two months now. It is run by a 38 year old manager who will do anything he can to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms of the hotel are a little bit outdated, but the manager has the intention to rebuild them. The breakfast is simple, but good and also the food in de restaurant is fresh. Good value for your money on this isla...

Take the transport van from the port. It's only $3. Every room is exactly the same as pictures. Very reasonable price and I'm hoping it'll stay that way. Very safe area. A few km out of town but who cares there are plenty of better price street food around and since you'll need a scooter to travel to the more secluded beaches up north of the island anyway. Owner will h...

Great hotel and I have come back for the 2nd part of my trip. It is in the best location, right at the night market and close to everything you need. Dont do what I see other tired hot tourists doing and walking a distance in the heat etc back to their resorts and hotels or giving up and getting taxis. Not here, you are right where the action is and if you are an ea...

This is one of the best priced places for a bungalow close to the beach. Not right on the beach, but only 50 m from it. You can go down to a beach bar (Rory's is 50 m) and if you patronize them use beach loungers there. Otherwise the beach is public and no one can stop you from sitting on the beach itself within 50 m of the sea. This location is one of the best along ...

The finding for our room at this guest house was difficult because it is off main street at least 200 meters and it is situated in an alley and it has no address number. We booked a room with fan only for our first stay in Phu Quoc's islands. The room is very hot everyday, the fan couldn't cool off the room to sleep, especially at day time. The room has some kitchenett...

I did spent one month in Vietnam and this place was clearly the worst one. You are paying for a very basic room, without real window and without hot water for your shower... it is so dark that even during the day you need to put the light. I have been attacked by ants during the night... after a lot of discussions they finally gave me another one.. for them i was someh...

This is a perfect place to stay is you like to stay in a beautiful space surrounded by nice and friendly people. This place definitely maid my trip. The staff is incredible, sweet and caring. Best place to make a tour around the beautiful Islands around, or take the cable car or have the feeling of the local Village. Not far by motorbike to the best beach in Phu Quoc Sao Beach, and also very interesting to have a look to the Coconut Prison. The name is critically misleading, the seaside is a good 2mn away in motorbike. The neighborhood is very convenient, many minimarts, restaurants, bars and other facilities are accessible on foot. Everything in the homestay is clean, the hosting familly is smiling, nice and efficient. There are about 6 or 7 rooms, all ground floor. Basic amenities and food, small unsurf...

Traveler impressions of Phu Quoc Island
Phu Quoc is famous for the friendly, fish sauce, dogs but the most is beaches. You can find a lot of nice and peace beaches everywhere.
There's not much to do at night except eat at the night market. During the day there's plenty of places to visit but nothing too fancy.
There are many things to do here. However, I went with my family and children thus stayed only inside Vinpearl which was enough for them.
Didnt think much of this island unless you are looking for a holiday at the beach and eating seafood.
It's a nice island, but quit expensive. The food and products are expensive if compare to Saigon. But generally it's a god spot for city escape.
Very quite and calm island, the citizens are extremely friendly, good place to visit in order to experience local vibes
It is a great way to rent a motorbike and explore Phu Quoc on your own (provided that you are not over 60 lol).
less developed and rural at its basic. Love how rural it is at the local market... But, in time, it will be developed like Danang and Phuket.
Squid fishing and island touring on a motorcycle were the highlights. Seafood at the night market is overrated.
The people were really friendly. They love to help you find the way, give you advices about the places you want to come.
There are rubbish every where. Plastic and glass allover, even at beaches. At sao beach i see, that hotel worker throw bag of garbage srait to beasc.
I have been living in Ha Noi for two years and decided to have a beach break for 5 days. However my negative experiences in Phu Quoc ended up out weighing the positive.
Beautiful islands with so many beautiful beaches with clean & clear seawater and white smooth sand but the waves are not strong, not suitable for people who love surfing.
If you're into sitting by the pool or on the beach just relaxing and doing nothing, then Phu Quoc is a good place to go.
Phu Quoc Island is such a new tourism attraction in Vietnam. I got a bad impression of Phu Quoc Island.
This is our first time travel here. It turned out perfect. We would like to recommend to everyone not to miss out for your short holiday and we will be back again.
In one day, visitors can experience the culture of Vietnam at the local market in the morning, relax on a remote and stunning beach in the afternoon, enjoy a delicious dinner and drinks at one of the restaurants and enjoy accommodation at the variety of hotels and resorts on this superb island getaway.
Relaxing place. Should come up with more activities on the island. generally still not so commercialize yet hence it is good.
It's ok if you take a resort with high paying. Going solo you would pay much for such a city with very high price for eating, seafood is not cheaper than eating it in Ho Chi Minh city.
I was passing through , so could have stayed at any of the beaches out of town . I hired a scooter for 2 days , 2000000 /day .
I think this island makes us relaxed. this island has both well developed areas and undeveloped area.
We chose PhuQuoc, as we were looking for somewhere warm to swim. The island is very quiet and still not developed.
Great place for a family or a couple to visit. Beaches are clean, the water is warm and the seafood flows.
A nice island with good beach/sand and relaxation. Seafood is fresh, good and widely popular obviously.
Nice island with quite some places and things to discover: - It is an nice island, so all regular sea/beach/sand related: sea boating/cruising/swimming, diving, snorkelling.
A visit to the night fish Market is a must but you can also enjoy fresh fish at all restaurants .Tours can be arranged and i would recommend a boat trip out to go snorkelling / diving extremely cheap well organised and staff at rainbow divers are professional and safety concious .
a couple nights here is honestly enough. Food and drink and hotels are so expensive and not so great.
Unfortunately, being Australian we are spoilt. The beaches here are overrated and dirty. If you want to look at the beautiful sunsets, lie in a hammock, ride around the island exploring - you will have a great time but the water has rubbish.
Gorgeous island with beautiful white sand and clear blue waters. The nicest part of Viet Nam in my opinion.
Phu Quoc Island is totally different from HCM city. The security standard is better. The food are cheaper and more delicious
