This gorgeous hotel is a DREAM.”

This hotel is AMAZING!!! I fell in love with the pictures at first, but once I arrived there I was in AWE. It’s brand new, (only been one month since opening) so everything is white, clean and beautiful. I initially chose the standard capsule cause it was so cheap, but my friend and I upgraded to the deluxe oceanfront capsule which was not that substantial of a price difference. It was amazing waking up to the beach view in the morning! The rooms are not that expensive either, especially the capsule rooms. When you check in, the friendly staff politely prompts you to take off your shoes before entering, it’s a no shoe zone indoors. They provide you with an electronic room key that gives you access to the elevator and your locker, which upon opening receive a nice care hotel package of pajamas, towels, tissues, a mini razor, and a small water bottle. It’s very modern which is nice. What really sold me was the karaoke system that’s in the lobby cafe area, it’s free to use as a hotel guest. The owner is super friendly and cool, he owns a very well known karaoke bar chain that is located in several areas in South Korea apparently. That’s why the karaoke sound system is such nice quality. I absolutely loved singing to songs overlooking the beach! I anticipate the karaoke being a popular thing amongst hotel guests in the busier summer months. The decor of this hotel is exceptional. Full window oceanfront views, squeaky clean white floors, gorgeous modern interior design is only a minor detail of this beautiful hotel. I loved being able to look at the beach waves while eating breakfast in the hotel cafe. The Room Rates are very reasonable for the quality, grace, and luxury of Gwanganli Hotel 1. It felt like paradise staying here. This hotel stay is a must if you ever visit Gwanganli beach in Busan!!!

Exceptional”

One of the best stay ever! It will be a little difficult if you are taking the metro as it is a little far away from the station. However, the location is perfectly nice as the famous Gwangan Bridge and Gwanganli seaside is just right in front of the hotel. The hotel is still very new, it is really nice, clean, cozy and comfortable. Plus point, the staffs are really kind and helpful. I arrived earlier before the time I could check in, they helped to settle my luggage so that I can go walk around and come back again later for check in. Also, they helped to call a taxi to the airport early in the morning, like 4 or 5 o'clock~ The staff even helped me to transfer my luggage in to the taxi in a cold winter morning, without wearing a long padding! Service is superb! Will definitely come back again for a stay!

Perfect stay for people who love to chill by the Beach!”

We stayed in the slim hotel room, space wasn't as luxurious but view was perfect! Relatively cheap if you stay in the capsule/slim hotel. It has super chill and cool vibes, & super comfy communal space at the Cafe area 1f & 2f. We couldn't bear to leave that place and we even extended one more night just to enjoy the communal space and the picturesque view that cafe offers; as hotel located right in front of Gwangalli Beach. Basic Facilities were provided, it was more than sufficient. Hotel had great service staffs, really appreciate their welcoming hospitality, despite the language barrier. They are more than willing to assist you whenever you need help. :) Would definitely come back to Busan just to stay at Hotel1 again, it was that good.

Very clean, bed very comfortable, staff can speak basic English and is friendly. The cafe both 1st and 2nd floor is nice. The view is directly to the Gwanganli beach. We were provided with pajamas, got 50% cafe voucher which made me happy because it was raining and I was too tired to go out to search for dinner. They gave us ear plug and all necessities like towel, tissue, toothbrush.

This place is located in nice area. You will an brilliant view for Gwanganli bridge that really beautiful both day and night. Moreover, Facilities are nice such as cozy rooptop, share space that you can enjoywith good view. Staffs are helpful and nice. Accommodation is clean and have a lovely interior. One thing that a little to improve is air condition that too hot for me. 😂

The place is super cute and staff are super friendly. They can communicate well in English. I booked for a female premium capsule sea view and the view from my room was stunning!! Things I don't like are 1. this kind of room doesn't have an own door but there's a curtain instead. I got a room right in front of a main door so I can hear ppl noise coming in and out all the time. 2. The hotel is very far from mrt station (1-1.5km, walkable but still too far in my opinion) so if you carry a large luggage it'd be a nuisance. But If you ask me, "Will I book for this hotel again?" I'd definitely say "Yes (:"

BEST LOCATION”

Probably the best capsule hotel you can ever find in Gwangan area. Everything is minimalist - valued for money. The area is right in front of Gwangalli Beach and the view is stunning. Pretty near the subway station. I will definitely come back here when I visit Busan in the future. Kudos to the friendly staffs for trying their best to help even though they can hardly understand English :)

Best place to stay in Busan”

One of the best hotels I've ever been to! Nice location, very clean, great view from the capsule (I took the premium one), kind and helpful staff and delicious breakfast! If I get a chance to visit Busan once again I will definitely choose Hotel1! Thank you so much for such amazing memories! <3

Nice View!”

The hotel location from subway has a distance which takes about 10mins - 15mins walk, however, it has perfect sea view which worth for all! Clean and comfortable! Highly recommend if you are interested to have a trip to Busan!

This hotel let me decided to cancel my ticket in Seoul and stay in Busan for more days! Best view ever, very clean, everything is just so good and nice to stay here, the only thing is they do g have much choice for food.

Very good stay. Best view at Busan. But I do advise check the weather before booking if you just stay for one night. I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel too bad. Next time will definitely back to this hotel and I would like to spend whole day just at the hotel. The transportation by subway have distance but is okay for me.

The hotel is easy to find and check-in was painless. The hotel is basically all white and is extremely clean. You need to take your shoes off before entering, and put them in your locker upon check-in. There is a cute patio cafe below the hotel floors. There are pillows and little tables on giant step-style seating that overlooks the shore through a giant window. There were limitless snacks, too. Also, in your belongings cubby, there will be a bag of toiletries and a bottle of water. The bag includes two towels (which didn't look promising, but are actually extremely absorbent), a toothbrush+toothpaste, a face cleanser, a pair of pajamas, a pair of slippers, some tissue packets, a pencil, and some stationary. If you're only staying for a night, you can pack pretty lightly. The only bummer was that I booked a luxury capsule with an ocean view, but my capsule had a pillar in front of the window so I had to peek around it. It's no biggy, a heads up would've been nice though.

Cozy, Minimalist, Very Cool Hotel”

I highly recommend Hotel 1 for youthful travelers who are used to living in small spaces. If you're looking for luxury/to spread out, this is not for you. The "slim" rooms were cozy and the rooms are clever in how they allocate such a small space.

Perfect getaway ”

Everything is well kept and maintained. Highly recommend . Perfect sea view Cons. It’s kind of far from station ( 10-15min walk from Gwangali beach ) Thou u might think bus is nearer but busan bus doesn’t allow luggage size more than 20inch. So u have to take train of ur luggage is huge.

Nice concept but lacking in execution. ”

Agoda showed photos of seaview and we were booked a city view. The hotel blamed agoda but did nothing to accomodate us. The capsule room is a cool experience and very clean and new and perfect location. As far as the facilities go, you have to pay to sit to see the view so its a bit uncomfortable being in the lobby. The staff wasnt the most friendly. Good experience but I wouldnt recommend for this price.

Excellent view from hotel ”

Hotel staff was especially friendly and greeted us at every opportunity they had. Cleanliness of the rooms were perfect . Solid air conditioning work there . The view from the ocean suite was absolutely stunning and mesmerising . Would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a nice reprieve from the hectic city life . Location was great as it was a walk away from various food stalls . Many cafes around the area are opened till the wee hours of the night , allowing tourists to enjoy the night breeze from the sea. There was no flaw that I could nitpick . Definitely worth every cent I spent !

Very small room”

PROS 1) amenities- water, fridge, hair dryer, towels, toothbrush and toiletries are available. 2) staff- speaks very basic English. Some are not very friendly but I assume it is due to language barrier. 3) clean lobby- have to remove shoes and place in lockers before entering. 4) lounge- comfortable to relax around to take a meal or enjoy the beach view as it is facing the beach. 5) transportation- 20mins walk to station but opposite the busan tour bus stop. 6) convenient stores and food stalls are just beside restaurant. CONS 1) location- honestly quite far from train station. Takes around 20mins walk. If you have a big luggage or heavy bags, it will be difficult. 2) VERY SMALL ROOM- I booked a private romantic room which is meant two pax but I stayed alone. It’s so small, I don’t think it can even fit two luggages without blocking the way. Room is so small, there’s no dust bin, no tissue box(gives 1 packet of tissue instead), towels are not even kept in toilet(it’s kept in a storage underneath the bed)

I want to go back ”

I ended up being in Busan during a typhoon but I still loved this location. Highly recommend spending ng a little extra and getting the pod with a window, its incredible!

Excellent hotel”

The hotel was very nice, right on the beach. Great location. The staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel is veryyyyyy CLEAN. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean. You get pajamas and everything you need at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this to others. I was very impressed.

Worth the stay”

you get more from what you pay for. The hitel is cery clean, staffs are friendly, and very helpful. They may not converse with you fluently but will try their best to help you. I love set up of their cafe that lets you enjoy the beautiful beach view and the gwangalli bridge; day and night. This is one of the my favorite hotel. Will definitely recommend to friends who travels.
