Where to stay in Haymarket
Haymarket hotels & accommodations

I booked the junior suite and believe it was very good value for money. The receptionist was very accommodating and helpful throughout. The room is more or less standard size of a hotel room, however, it comes with a kitchen which is seperate from the sleeping area. As I spent over a week in Edinburgh it was very convenient to be able to store food in the fridge and co...

The location of this hotel is fantastic. 10min walk down the main road from Haymarket Station. The bus to the zoo is right outside (literally) Smack bang in the middle of princes street. The shopping and vastness of the restaurants are amazing. Breakfast is an option (extra expense) - however it’s not a cooked one. If your looking for a cooked one there’s 3 Wether...

My mother and I chose Haymarket Hotel via agoda, site unseen of course. Being from the US, we had to go on reviews and a few pics and hope for the best. We could not have been happier. Albeit, the rooms are smaller than US room, but we were prepared for that. And having a room "without" a window was great for the late sunset and early sunrise. The staff, beyond r...

The building at B&B Edinburgh was a lovely historic building with richly carved wooden paneling and marble fireplaces. The hotel was great, staff went out their way to help and were friendly and chatty whilst remaining professional. Overall a great stay and fantastic location just off of Princes street for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to tourists and business travellers. Excellent swift check in with most friendly staff who are always willing to accommodate you. Returning guest, as I stay here around 6 to 8 times per year. I have never been disappointed! Set in a beautiful location next to the River. Small Car park onsite, 15- 20 minutes walk from Haymarket station and same to town. Handy restaurant, with good value breakfasts. Comfy...

I have stayed in this Haymarket area of the city before and indeed several times on this street and must say was impressed with what encountered here. The public areas are a nice mix of modern yet keeping the old character elements and even has an in house stylish bar area which I would image is open on request or at busier times. The room I stayed in was simple and st...

The Bonham is a centrally located hotel, a short walk from the Haymarket train station (with a convenient tram stop from the airport), Princes Street and the Royal Mile. We were able to check in early, way before the normal check-in time, which made is possible for us to take a nap (having arrived on a red-eye flight from the US) before taking our first venture out int...

My wife and I stayed for 1 night in a Club room with castle view for our anniversary, can honestly say it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, everything clean and fresh and the food and facilities fantastic as were the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Spa facilities are second to none.

The property is right across Haymarket Station: accessible via train, tram and bus. It was disappointing that the room we booked described it as having 5 separate single beds but the actual room only had 3 beds: 1 queen and 2 sofa beds. Contacted the owner/manager and I was informed that the description in Agoda was wrong as the property does not have any single bed. D...

This is a lovely older-style hotel. Decor is nice. Staff are friendly. Located midway between central Edinburgh and Murrayfield Stadium. A ten to fifteen minute each way. Great pub approximately 3 minutes walk from Hotel (opposite Haymarket Station) for good reasonably priced pub meals. Breakfast in Hotel itself was good (but no cooked items). Also nice place to have a...

Went to meet my grandson who is at Edinburgh University The hotel was reasonably located but not walking distance to the Royal Mile The Hotel staff were welcoming, great and helpful, the room had all facilities and was very clean, the breakfast was amazing. Had a very comfortable stay Would book again

Good location right next to Haymarket train station but property is under construction. Extra bed is comfy than other Travelodges but toilet is so old cannot flush properly and no bath/shampoo gel provided (suppose to have but staffs didn’t check regularly)

The staff were amazing, so friendly and could not do enough for us. The hotel was beyond our expectations, from our afternoon tea to room service and breakfast we could not fault the excellent food served to us. The suite was immaculate, ideal location for exploring the capital, worthy of it's 5 stars. We will certainly be visiting again in the near future.

I stayed in the Cumberland Hotel on 27th and 28th October. For my Graduation as it was very near within walking distance of the Usher Hall. I was in room number 1, which is a ground floor room, it had all facilities, very comfortable double bed, hairdryer TV and tea and coffee facilities, topped up daily, also ensuite had a shower which I like, temp was adjustable, ro...

Brilliant location just off the main road through the city so really quiet but near enough to avoid sore feet. A lovely old converted house with lots of charm. The complete opposite of sterile hotel rooms. Staff were incredibly friendly and even offered to take our cases to the room for us.

Leonardo hotel is fairly basic but everything is done well and it provided everything I needed. Great central location with lots of shops and places to eat or get a takeaway. Haymarket train station is a 5 minute walk away, and that's where the airport shuttle bus stops too. The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable and they provide essentials such as hairdryer...

had a good stay at the haymarket hotel. the staff were quite helpful. breakfast was included in our package and it was very generous, sausuages, bacon, eggs, toast, and an assortment of pastries and juices. the haymarket hotel is located at the edge of coates gardens, and is a 7-8 minute walk to a bus stop to take you to princes street in downtown edinburgh.

The Location is satisfactory. You are a 15 min walk away from Prince's Street and the nearest of the city center, and 45 min away from the furthest of the city center. The area is residential and quiet, but down the street you have a main street from Prince's Street to the Haymarket, where you have pubs, shops, smaller, cheaper restaurants as well as nicer ones. If you...

Fantastic accommodation for the price. Ideally located immediately adjacent Haymarket train station, airport tram & bus links, and local bars and restaurants. The adjoining Guards Club bar has limited choice, but has lots of Guards history and friendly staff so it's worth a visit. Having arrived by train it was a perfect overnight stop before continuing my journey ...

Good size and location. Other plus points were a pint of milk waiting for us in the fridge. Lovely bathroom, but rather tired lounge furniture (settees shedded the remaining leatherette finish constantly). As others have said, the stairs to, and within, the flat are steep and awkward. It would have been nice if the info about collecting tne keys elsewhere was easier ...

The price is good for a share room in a three-bedroom flat. We have a kitchen to use, a lounge with TV and games to play with. The bathroom is big and clean. The room is spacious with a double bed and two single beds. I only contacted the staff via email, but the information was quick and informative. Highly recommend.

I actually booked FCA at Grove street, but later was transferred to FCA-Stewart. FTA-Stewart was located in the very heart of Edinburgh with very easy access to anywhere. Almost all popular tourist attractions in Edinburgh were accessible from the hotel on foot. The rooms were fully and beautifully equipped with everything you would ever need for a vacation. The rooms ...

We have got a triple room with private bathroom. The bathroom was not completed, probably the the builders not finished yet... the sealing foam was still there around the bath. Anyway our 1 night stay was quiet and the breakfast good. Very good location, near to the Haymarket station and less than 20 minutes walk to the town centre.

Very nice apartment. Full of facility. near to tesco and haymarket station. Walking distance. easy to find halal food nearby. A bit far from princess street but still can reach by foot in 15 minutes. Easier to take bus if you want to go to princess street. I will surely book again of I have to go to Edin.

With young kids the kitchen and separate living area is great. Everything was clean and cot was provided for free. The on-site secure parking is great and saves you a lot of money from parking in the city center as long as you are willing to walk.
