Did you bring a 5-year-old baby on your first trip to Tokyo? I challenged myself to Tokyo Disneyland alone with my kid in this hot weather without the dad. I chose the accommodation just relying on the location and Hilton's name value. Initially, I booked a 2-night stay, but on the third day, I was sad to go back to Korea, so I wasted the plane ticket and extended my stay for another day. It was worth it. Normally, I value the condition of the accommodation when I travel, but the bedding, wardrobe, and bathroom were all clean, and the cleaning service was quick, making it very pleasant. To get to the monorail station, there was a Disney shuttle bus running frequently, and all the drivers were friendly. I walked around like it was my neighborhood while pushing the stroller, haha. If it hadn't been scorching outside, I would have been flying around. Also, there was a shuttle to JR Maihama Station three times an hour, which was great for shopping. On the first floor, there are two Lawson convenience stores (one opens at 5 PM), a toy room for gachapon, a small café (the hot americano is good), a Disney souvenir shop (it has everything, even things I didn't see at the park, like a Disney shuttle bus plate for babies), a bakery (the strawberry sandwich is delicious), an alcohol shop, and a coin laundry in the basement with a dryer. The facilities are excellent. (There is a currency exchange machine in the hallway, but the commission is quite high, so I wouldn’t recommend it. 62,000 won - 5,660 yen masic.) However, the pool charges 4,000 yen for adults on weekdays and 5,000 yen on weekends, although kids under 6 enter for free. I only had to pay for admission and got two sunbeds (to my preferred spot) and enough big towels, so I didn’t feel it was a waste of money. In Korea, during peak season, you typically have to pay 50,000 to 100,000 won just for a spot, so this was actually worth it. And the Asahi draft beer sold at the pool restaurant is fantastic. You must try it when you go!!! Oh, and there was no water in the fridge, but there was a shared water purifier and ice dispenser in the hallway, and I was assigned a room right next to it, so it was convenient for me (the ice is solid). The breakfast was simple, but I was disappointed that there was no chili powder available. However, Lawson on the first floor sells cubed radish (kakdugi) with cucumber, and eating this is refreshing~~^^ I didn’t plan on writing so much, but it turned out long as I wrote down my experiences. If you’re traveling with a young child and plan to focus on Tokyo Disneyland, I recommend this place because it's convenient. I will be going back to Disneyland next year, and I will book Hilton Bay again. (It took an hour and a half by limousine bus from Narita to Hilton, and it's quite romantic to take your time and enjoy the view outside the window.)
We stayed for two nights on our anniversary trip to Disney. There was a bus from the airport to the hotel. The staff helped us navigate to Disney itself. The service was prompt, friendly, and exceptional. The morning buffet catered to both our eating habits (my wife is Korean and I am from the States) and we both enjoyed it very much. Omelet station is nice and quick. Hilton members also get a complmentary desert which was tasty. The room was incredibly comfortable. If we return we will happily return to the hotel.
Comfy bed and pillow. Our rooms can accommodate 6 adults and still spacious after they add the bed. Near to Disneyland and Disney sea with free shuttle so is very convenient for us.
On the day of the event, it was crowded with both the event and inbound guests, but the check-in process was smooth and I received an upgrade for my room. When I stepped a little away from the lobby, the aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries made me feel very happy. I used the indoor pool, which was empty, clean, and a relaxing place to spend time. There was also a gym, and the instructors were kind. Dinner was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes, including Asian food that you don't find in other hotels. The white fish curry was exquisite. There was a candle event that was beautiful. The breakfast buffet also had a lot of options, making it hard to decide what to eat. Since the location attracts many children, it was spacious enough that it didn't bother me. Overall, the level was high and I was very satisfied. It has become one of the hotels I would like to visit again.

“Amazing hotel, but...”
Yes, the hotel is incredible, the staff is awesome and the rooms are very spacious, especially for a hotel in Tokyo. The location is amazing if your intention is going to Disney (it is a bit far from everything else in Tokyo). I got a great deal for my stay at Hilton Tokyo Bay and decided to give it a try. And I have to be honest: as a non Hilton Member, I felt both left out and looked down on (not by employees, who actually did the opposite, but by other hotel guests!). When I say left out, I mostly mean not being able to use the pool, which was free only for Members and pretty pricey for those who weren't (*** per person). Summer in Japan is intense and I would have loved to be able to go for a quick swim, but I didn't think paying that amount would be worth it for the time I had to enjoy the pool. I completely agree with Members of any hotel or company having benefits, but the hotel's pool? Anyway, something else that disappointed me was doing laundry. I have done laundry in other hotels in Japan before and I know some drying machines are not very good and will take forever to get our clothes dry (consuming our time and money), but I already had the chance to get good machines in budget hotels, so I assumed this wouldn't be a problem a Hilton (which, by the way, charges about double for coin laundry compared to the budget hotel I mentioned above), but guess what, it did require double the time it took me to do laundry compared to the budget hotel. I was blessed to get a room with a view to the Disney parks and could even see the fireworks from my room and I guess that was the highlight of my stay hahahaha, but since we can't choose exactly what room we are getting, I believe I won't be staying here again.
