We stayed here for 4 nights and I must say that the stay was very comfortable. The location is very ideal and walkable from Edinburgh Waverley station. The tram and buses stop right outside the hotel. All the days we could easily walk up to the Castle and Royal Mile in about 15 minutes. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was huge with lots of items which were getting reloaded as and when required. I would surely recommend this place to all tourists. No negatives at all and surely a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Holiday Inn Express. Special mention about Mikey who gave us very good service.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! It is conveniently located in the heart of the city close to major attractions, shops, and restaurants which can be explored on foot or can be accessed by public transportation since the train station is just right across the hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very helpful, answering my questions and offering great recommendations, making my stay extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel :)

The size of the hotel room was somewhat small, making it inconvenient to unpack, but I felt that other aspects were of good quality. I had ordered breakfast and, having heard many comments that British breakfasts are not great, I had no expectations. However, my wife was excited and said she looked forward to the next day's breakfast. Perhaps it was influenced by our habit of always eating lightly in the morning, but we still felt positive about it. Next time, I will have to try a larger room. The location was convenient for walking, and being close to the train station made it easy to get around, which I consider a plus.

The location is great! 10 mins walk from train station, however, if you stay in 0xx there is no lift from reception to downstair but the room is clean and all staff are super nice!
