“Clean, but very uncomfortable and outdated – wouldn’t stay again”
The room was extremely small for two people, especially with luggage. Moving around was difficult and uncomfortable. Several things did not work properly: the hair dryer and the safe were broken, and the air conditioning switch didn’t work either – it was running constantly and we had to unplug it. The shower was a real issue. The water came out boiling hot and one of us burned himself. Every time you turned it on again, it started extremely hot before slowly getting colder, which felt unsafe. Overall, everything felt old, worn out, and not very comfortable or welcoming. On the positive side, the room was clean. We also didn’t like the building itself. The skyscraper was very busy and chaotic. The ground floor was a huge, crowded market with lots of food stalls, and one of the exits led into a back alley full of trash. There were also some dodgy people in and around the building, which made us feel uncomfortable. We also feel that we paid far too much for this room, probably because of New Year’s Eve. That might be normal these days, but the price was definitely not justified by the quality. All in all, it did not meet our expectations and we would not book this place again.
