This was the best home stay ever! Janaki and Dhanishwar are the consummate hosts. Janaki took us on an insiders tour of Tansen and we learned much about the workings of the local community from Dhanishwar who has assumed leadership roles in many community affairs. Our room was scrupulously clean and freshly painted. Our morning breakfast on the terrace was healthy and ample with the spectacular view of the city as a huge bonus. When you visit be sure to request Danika's dal bhat one night for dinner. She's an excellent cook! Horizon Homestay gets a five star rating on all points from us. We are so glad that we chose Horizon Homestay over a hotel.

I stayed here for just one night during a week long motorcycle trip from Pokhara. I was very impressed. Lovely warm room, friendly hosts and great views. Food was offered in the evening although I chose to eat out. The breakfast was really nice and simple with lovely organic coffee. The room I had fronted on to a balcony with panoramic views. Fantastic. Arriving on a motorbike I was a bit lost as I couldn’t ride and have the phone in my hand. The lady sent her son and he rode the bike to the homestay for me. Great service.
